Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the effect of ABC running training on improving the running skills of student athletes in Semarang Regency. This study used a correlational quantitative research type with a descriptive approach using a quasy experiment method. The population of the study was all student athletes in Semarang Regency with a sample of 20 people. The instrument used was a running technique analysis. The data analysis technique used is the t test (paired sample t-test). The results of data analysis indicate that there is a significant effect of ABC running training on the skills of student athletes in Semarang Regency. The t test results obtained by the value of P = (0.000) <α (0.05), so there is a significant increase in the skills of student athletes in Semarang Regency. the percentage increase of 15.61%. This means that the ABC running training method can improve running skills for student athletes in Semarang Regency. Keywords: training, athletic basic coordination, skill, sprint

Abstract

Introduction: in this study the issues that must be examined regarding; the correlation of the distributed practice and massed practice methods to the long jump ability without a start, and whether there is a correlation between the distributed practice and massed practice methods to the long jump ability without a start in Wonogiri 3 Public High School students. This study aims to determine the correlation of distributed practice and massed practice methods on the long jump ability without a start, and the differences in the correlation of the distributed practice and massed practice methods on the long jump ability without a start on the students of SMA Negeri 3 Wonogiri. Research Method: The independent variable in this study is the method of distributed practice and massed practice, while the dependent variable in this study is the long jump ability without a prefix. the method used is quantitative research with an experimental form. The population in this study were 30 sample students in this study using a total sampling of 30 students. Data collection techniques using measurement techniques. The data collection tool uses a long jump test without a prefix. The data analysis technique uses a different test technique or t-test with a significance level of 5%. Research Results: The results of data analysis carried out before being given treatment, obtained the value of t between the pre-test in group 1 and group 2 = 0.0352, while ttable = 1.699. It turns out that the obtained t < t in the table, which means the null hypothesis is accepted. Thus group 1 and group 2 before being given treatment in a balanced state. Between group 1 and group 2 depart from the starting point of the same leg muscle power ability. Which means if after being given treatment there is a difference, it is because of the difference in the treatment given. The conclusions from this study: 1) There is a correlation of the distributed practice method on the long jump ability without a start in Wonogiri 3 State Senior High School students, the correlation of training with the distributed practice method is the t count of 5.6127 with the t table of 2.151. 2) There is a correlation between the massed practice method of training on the ability to jump long without a start in Wonogiri 3 State Senior High School students, the effect of training using the distributed practice method is with a t count of 3.0893 with a t table of 2.151. 3) There is a difference in the correlation between distributed practice and massed practice methods on the ability to jump long without a start on students of SMA Negeri 3 Wonogiri. The difference in the correlation of training with the massed practice method and the distributed practice method is that the t count is 1.7600 with the t table 1.699. It turns out that the obtained t > t in the table, which means the null hypothesis is rejected. Suggestion: In general, it can be said that the distributed practice and massed practice methods are variables that influence the improvement of the long jump ability without a start for students of SMA Negeri 3 Wonogiri. The distributed practice method turns out to have a higher effect than mass practice. This means that a type of game is very influential on the success of increasing the long jump ability without a prefix. With the method of distributed practice and massed practice that is taught, from simple to complex methods, so that the ability to jump long without a start can be improved properly.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to provide an understanding for high school students on the importance of basic training for students in providing assistance to disaster or emergency victims in order to prevent death or organ damage so that their productivity can be maintained equally before the disaster or emergency event occurs. Such as accidents or natural disasters can occur anywhere and anytime, such as traffic accidents, household accidents, work accidents, and so on. Handling these problems is aimed at providing basic life support so that it can save lives and minimize organ damage and disability of sufferers. In order to achieve the purpose of this service, the following steps are required; a) coordinate with schools, b) gather information from partners by conducting field observations, c) carry out outreach, outreach, and education for partners. This service is carried out over 6 months which includes; Initial observations exploring existing problems and then studying them to provide problem-solving, followed by initial seminars and preparation, counseling, and reporting. The service was held with theoretical material: a) disaster management, b) basic life support, c) first aid in an accident. The results of the dedication are; 1) increasing knowledge of basic life support, and 2) increasing knowledge of disaster management, for training participants. So it can be concluded that basic life support and disaster management training has an impact on increasing the knowledge, understanding and ability of service partners in dealing with disaster emergencies in the KY Ageng Giri Banyumeneng High School environment, Mranggen, Demak Regency.ABSTRAKKegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman bagi siswa sekolah menegah atas mengenai pentingnya pelatihan dasar bagi siswa/ pelajar sekolah dalam memberikan pertolongan pada korban bencana atau gawat darurat guna mencegah kematian atau kerusakan organ sehingga produktivitasnya dapat dipertahankan setara sebelum terjadinya bencana atau peristiwa gawat darurat yang terjadi. Seperti kecelakaan atau bencana alam dapat terjadi dimana saja dan kapan saja, seperti halnya kecelakaan lalu lintas, kecelakaan rumah tangga, kecelakaan kerja, dan sebagainya. Penanganan masalah tersebut ditujukan untuk memberikan bantuan hidup dasar sehingga dapat menyelamatkan nyawa dan meminimalisir kerusakan organ serta kecacatan penderita. Dalam rangka mencapai tujuan pengabdian ini, diperlukan langkah-langkah sebagai berikut; a) berkoordinasi dengan sekolah, b) menggali informasi dari mitra dengan melakukan observasi lapangan, c) melaksanakan penyuluhan, sosialisasi, dan edukasi bagi mitra. Pengabdian ini dilaksanakan dalam 6 bulan yang meliputi; observasi awal menggali masalah yang ada kemudian dikaji untuk diberikan pemecahan masalah, dilanjutkan seminar awal dan persiapan, penyuluhan, dan pelaporan. Pengabdian yang diselenggarakan dengan materi teori: a) disaster management, b) basic live support, c) pertolongan pertama pada kecelakaan. Hasil pengabdian adalah; 1) meningkatnya pengetahuan basic life support, dan 2) meningkatnya pengetahuan management disaster,bagi peserta pelatihan. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan basic life support dan management disaster berdampak pada meningkatnya pengetahuan, pemahaman dan kemampuan mitra pengabdian dalam menghadapi keadaan kedaruratan bencana di lingkungan sekolah SMA KY Ageng Giri Banyumeneng, Mranggen Kabupaten Demak.
