Abstract

The Surabaya City Population and Civil Registry Office partners with the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology in the MSIB Batch 4 program. This activity is designed for students who want to assist the Surabaya City Government in providing Population Administration services at the Population and Civil Registration Service, by going directly as a form of service to public. The Sayang Warga service activity program is an innovation by the Surabaya City government which aims to make it easier for the community to manage population administration in a transparent, efficient and effective manner and provide an understanding for the community that orderly population administration is very important for the continuation of a state life. This program runs with the help of village officials who carry out services at the RW hall. The active implementation of this compassionate service for residents has a goal, namely to create an orderly population administration society. Through the MSIB program, the author as an apprentice student hopes to help the Surabaya city government in improving the quality of public services by participating in the Dear Citizens service program in Benowo Village.

Abstract

The Surabaya City Population and Civil Registry Office partners with the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology in the MSIB Batch 4 program. This activity is designed for students who want to assist the Surabaya City Government in providing Population Administration services at the Population and Civil Registration Service, by going directly as a form of service to public. In MSIB activities with the Surabaya City Population and Civil Registration Service, students participate in the population administration service process through the Klampid New Generation Application. During the internship, students get 1 KNG account to help sub-district staff process population administration requests for residents of Genting Kalianak. Through this MSIB program, the author as an apprentice student hopes to be able to show a real contribution to his work in socializing the Kalimasada program to the Genting Kalianak sub-district community to create an orderly population administration society.

Abstract

Currently, Indonesia is ranked fifth as the country that contributes the most plastic waste in the world. Waste management, especially plastic waste, is currently still relatively low. Plastic waste that is not managed properly can cause environmental pollution and habitat destruction. The solution to this problem is to create new innovations using ecobrick techniques. Ecobrick is a technique for utilizing plastic waste into useful items and reducing the amount of plastic waste. The purpose of this service is to increase environmental awareness from an early age, especially for grade 4 students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Huda Sidoarjo. The methods used are socialization of waste management and the practice of making and handing over ecobrick products. The results obtained are that students can understand the importance of maintaining environmental cleanliness by sorting waste according to its type, and can make useful ecobrick products.

Abstract

The Community Service Program, which is being carried out by KKN students from the National Development University "Veteran" East Java, aims to provide knowledge and practical skills to the community, particularly PKK mothers RW 03 Babatan Jati Village, Sidoarjo, in processing traditional medicinal plants, ginger, into high-value products, namely gummy candy. This session included a firsthand demonstration of the gummy candy-making process, with ginger extract as the key ingredient. The outcomes of this exercise demonstrated that the participants were quite enthusiastic, as seen by their active engagement in discussions and activities. The finished product was gummy candy with a unique ginger scent and a chewy texture, which is expected to generate new economic prospects in the local community. This initiative is also designed to increase community welfare and develop relationships between students and the local population.

Abstract

This community service program aimed to socialize and produce a natural mosquito-repellent spray made from lemongrass and oranges as an effort to prevent Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF). Through this program, the community was provided with knowledge about the benefits and methods of making environmentally friendly and safe natural sprays. The methods used involved socialization, spray-making demonstrations, and testing its effectiveness against Aedes aegypti mosquitoes. The results showed that the spray produced was able to repel up to 90% of mosquitoes at the highest concentration (10%). This program not only increased public awareness of DHF prevention but also empowered them to create products beneficial for health and the environment.

Abstract

The on the spot mobile sub-district service program (POSKAMLING) is an innovative service in Gedangan sub-district, Sidoarjo Regency which aims to bring direct services closer to the community in the form of mobile services. This article aims to determine the Evaluation of the POSKAMLING Program (On The Spot Mobile Sub-district Service) in Gedangan Sub-district, Sidoarjo Regency. The problem is focused on Program Evaluation. The data analysis uses Milles' analysis technique. Hubernman and Salda 2014. The theoretical reference used is William N Dunn's theory (2003), which consists of Effectiveness, Efficiency, Adequacy, Leveling, Responsiveness, and Accuracy. The informants of this study involved key informants including the Gedangan Sub-district Computer Administrator and the Population and Civil Registration Service Staff in the Population Administration Information System Management Section. Based on the research results, the POSKAMLING Program is said to be very effective and efficient because the service makes it easier for the community. This program has proven to be right on target and satisfies community groups. However, in the efficiency criteria there are shortcomings and obstacles in the implementation of the POSKAMLING Program such as late delivery of forms. So that makes people wait a long time in the process of managing population documents.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat berupa penanganan komplain ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kepuasan dan kualitas layanan yang diberikan kepada masyarakat. Penanganan komplain yang baik membantu memperhatikan dan menyelesaikan masalah yang dihadapi oleh masyarakat. Selain itu, penanganan komplain yang transparan dan akuntabel dapat memberikan pemahaman kepada masyarakat tentang bagaimana menangani masalah yang timbul. Abstract

KALIMASADA or an abbreviation of Population Administration Aware Community Environmental Area is an innovation from the Surabaya City Government which aims to make it easier for the community to arrange population administration documents, by involving the RT head as the RT KALIMASADA pilot and the Surabaya Great Cadre (KSH) with the closest reach to residents. With It is hoped that it will be easier for the community to provide administration services at the RT level because they are closer in terms of processing and completing the need for residence documents. The methodology that will be used by the author is qualitative, namely by making direct observations in the field, interviewing sources and related parties, as well as studying documents as a complement to the required data. First, the writer will go down to the field to see the progress of the KALIMASADA program in the Petemon Village where the writer is assigned. The focus of this service is optimizing the KALIMASADA program to support an orderly adminduk community, especially in the Petemon Village. The results of community service in the form of socialization and communication as well as orderly society in fulfilling the needs for population documents will be able to optimize the KALIMASADA program so that the KALIMASADA program activities will make the Petemon Village and the City of Surabaya become examples and be better than before.

Abstract

This activity aims to utilize household organic waste into liquid organic fertilizer (POC) in Jati Village, Sidoarjo Regency. Organic waste that generally comes from leftover food and vegetables is often just thrown away and causes an unpleasant odor and environmental pollution. Through counseling and practice of making POC, the community is expected to be able to process organic waste into fertilizer that is beneficial for plants. The method used involves counseling on the importance of processing organic waste, as well as practical steps in making POC, including preparation of materials, cutting, mixing with supporting materials such as brown sugar and EM4, fermentation process, filtering, and storage. The results of the activity show that the community has become more aware of the importance of processing organic waste and can practice making POC independently in their respective homes. This program not only reduces the amount of waste disposed of to landfills (TPA) but also increases soil fertility and contributes to environmental sustainability

Abstract

Jati Village has a unique potential in processing organic waste into Liquid Organic Fertilizer (POC). The waste processing is an effort to preserve the environment and also provide added economic value to the local community. However, in making sales, the community in Jati Village has not implemented the right marketing strategy. Digital marketing offers various tools and platforms that can be used to promote POC. Digital marketing strategies that can be applied include the use of social media such as Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok and Youtube to promote POC through interesting and educational visual content, as well as direct interaction with consumers. By implementing digital marketing strategies, Jati Village can increase the visibility of their POC products, expand their customer base, and increase revenue. This can support the SDGs program, especially point 8, namely Equitable Village Economic Growth. Utilizing technology for marketing can help POC sales sell evenly.
