Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengelolaan sampah dengan pendekatan konsep zero waste dalam industri pariwisata. Dalam konteks pariwisata berkelanjutan, pengelolaan sampah menjadi isu penting yang perlu ditangani secara efektif. Metode yang digunakan yaitu studi literatur. Penelitian ini menganalisis berbagai aspek terkait pengelolaan sampah, termasuk resiko pencemaran lingkungan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan konsep zero waste dapat menjadi solusi inovatif dalam mengelola sampah di sektor pariwisata, antara lain partisipasi masyarakat, sistem pengolahan sampah, inovasi teknologi ramah lingkungan, produk wisata berkelanjutan, dan pola kemitraan dengan model Bussiness to Bussiness (B2B). Kontribusi penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan inspirasi bagi pengembangan pariwisata berkelanjutan dengan menerapkan konsep zero waste dan memberikan sumbangan yang signifikan dalam upaya global untuk pelestarian lingkungan dan pembangunan berkelanjutan.Kata Kunci:   Pariwisata Berkelanjutan; Industri Pariwisata; Zero WasteAbstractThis research aims to examine waste management with a zero-waste concept approach in the tourism industry. In the context of sustainable tourism, waste management is an important issue that needs to be addressed effectively. The method used is a literature study. This research analyzes various aspects related to waste management, including the risk of environmental pollution. The results showed that the application of the zerowaste concept can be an innovative solution in managing waste in the tourism sector, including community participation, waste treatment systems, environmentally friendly technological innovations, sustainable tourism products, and partnership patterns with business-to-business (B2B) models. The contribution of this research is expected to provide inspiration for the development of sustainable tourism by applying the zero-waste concept and make a significant contribution to global efforts for environmental conservation and sustainable development.Keywords: Sustainable Tourism; Tourism Industry; Zero-Waste

Abstract

AbstractIn today's digital era, the internet and social media have become the main sources of information for tourists. Therefore, it is important for tourism destinations to repackage information with effective digital strategies. The purpose of this study was to determine the digital marketing transformation of tourism villages through information repackaging. This study was conducted using a qualitative method using literature study data collection techniques. The results of the study can describe that there are various stages that can be carried out to support the digital marketing transformation of tourism villages through information repackaging. The process of repackaging information in tourism product diversification is an important aspect that involves research, analysis, and re-presentation of information to create an interesting experience for prospective tourists. In this process, information is collected comprehensively to provide a clear picture of relevant tourist attractions, attractions, accommodations, culinary, culture, and history. Recommendations for further research include the use of a field-based empirical approach, exploration of tourist perceptions of the effectiveness of information content and its impact on visiting decisions, comparison of media strategies (print and digital), and analysis of the contribution of local community digital literacy to the success of digital marketing of tourist destinations.Keywords: Information Repackaging; Digital Marketing; Tourism VillageAbstrakDi era digital saat ini, internet dan media sosial telah menjadi sumber utama informasi bagi para wisatawan. Oleh karena itu, penting bagi destinasi pariwisata untuk melakukan kemas ulang informasi dengan strategi digital yang efektif. Tujuan penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui transformasi digital marketing desa wisata melalui kemas ulang informasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode kualitatif menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data studi kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian dapat menguraikan bahwa terdapat berbagai tahapan yang dapat dilakukan untuk mendukung transformasi digital marketing desa wisata melalui kemas ulang informasi. Proses kemas ulang informasi pada diversifikasi produk pariwisata merupakan aspek penting yang melibatkan penelitian, analisis, dan penyajian ulang informasi guna menciptakan pengalaman menarik bagi calon wisatawan. Dalam proses ini, informasi dikumpulkan secara komprehensif untuk memberikan gambaran yang jelas tentang objek wisata, atraksi, akomodasi, kuliner, budaya, dan sejarah yang relevan. Rekomendasi untuk penelitian selanjutnya mencakup penggunaan pendekatan empiris berbasis lapangan, eksplorasi persepsi wisatawan terhadap efektivitas konten informasi serta dampaknya terhadap keputusan berkunjung, perbandingan strategi media (cetak dan digital), serta analisis kontribusi literasi digital masyarakat lokal terhadap keberhasilan pemasaran destinasi wisata secara digital.Kata Kunci:  Kemas Ulang Informasi; Digital Marketing; Desa Wisata

Abstract

Information-seeking behavior skills related to tourist destinations by Generation Z during the Covid-19 pandemic are highly needed. This study aims to determine the information-seeking behavior skills related to tourist destinations by Generation Z during the Covid-19 pandemic. The researcher employed a quantitative method with descriptive analysis using the mean and grand mean. The research findings indicate that overall, the information-seeking behavior skills of Generation Z travelers in searching for information related to tourist destinations are categorized as good, with a grand mean value of 3.90 from all tested indicators, including previous visits, engagement, deliberate learning, incidental learning, familiarity, expertise, internal search costs (cognitive effort required and expected outcomes), and external search costs (involving significant time and various sources).

Abstract

The abundant cultural, historical, and natural wealth make Indonesia a special country. Along with the existing wealth, the existing potential can be packaged into educational-based tourist destinations. This research was conducted to determine the urgency of educational tourism destinations supporting sustainable tourism in Indonesia. This research was conducted using qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques are carried out using secondary data in the form of library research. The results obtained in this study indicate that the urgency of developing educational tourism destinations in Indonesia is very important. Indonesia has abundant cultural, historical, and natural wealth, so educational tourist destinations can be a means of introducing Indonesian culture, history, and natural beauty to both local and foreign tourists. Educational tourism can help achieve sustainable tourism by focusing on educational and learning aspects as well as promoting environmentally friendly activities and products. Therefore, the urgency of educational tourism destinations is very important and needs to be supported and developed properly.
