Abstract

Marketing pariwisata untuk Desa wisata Kampung Urug, Bogor penting untuk dilakukan guna memberdayakan maasyarakat dan mempromosikan keindahan alam serta budaya yang ada. Desa ini merupakan salah desa yang menjadi perhatian oleh Pemerintah Kabupaten Bogor, Jawa Barat. Salah satu upaya mempromosikan Desa wisata Kampung Urug adalah menggunakan souvenir yang bergambar khas kampong Urug dan diproduksi oleh masyarakat Kampung. Saat ini kampong Urug belum mempunyai buah tangan khusus yang dibisa dijadikan cinderamata atau Merchandise. Penduduk Kampong Urug rata-rata bekerja sebagai petani, peternak, sedangkan dan ibu rumah tangga. Program studi Teknik Grafika mempunyai peluang untuk membuat produk merchandise khusus dari Desa Wisata Kampung Urug, Bogor. Dengan adanya pembuatan merchandise yaitu berupa sablon manual pada media tekstile (pouch) serta mesin cetak digital yang user friendly untuk keberlangsungan cetak buku panduan wisata kampong adat, kemudian hasilnya menjadi buah tangan untuk pengunjung Desa Wisata Kampung Urug. Kegiatan pelatihan ini akan menambah pengetahuan kepada penduduk Kampung Urug hasil dari pelatihan menjadi pemasukan bagi masyarakat Kampung Urug.

Abstract

Covid-19 has impacted human activities around the world, including education. Teachingandlearning activities that were originally conducted face-to-face have turned into remote teaching andlearning activities or online lectures. To support the government's ef orts to prevent Covid-19 fromspreading further, the Jakarta State Polytechnic conducts its lectures using PNJ's E-learning media. Learning media systems can be considered reliable if they can fulfill user needs, such as the ease of usingtools in E-learning. E learning must be able to be used in both theoretical and practical subjects. Theresearch targets for this study are graphic engineering, packaging printing industry technology, mechanical engineering, building construction, and energy conversion. However, these practical learningcompetencies cannot be achieved as conducted on the of line lecture. To ensure that the teaching andlearning activities using PNJ E-learning can run ef ectively, we need to measure its usability. In this study, we use USE questionnaire tool as usability measurement. The research conducted on 150 respondents showed that the level of usability in PNJ e-learning was 0,609 this figure is included in the category of goodusability level. However, this value is still within the minimun score criteria for the good category. TheValue for each variable, namely the uselfulness variable of 71.4%, the easy of use variable of 72.8%, theeasy of learning variable of 48.25% and the satisfaction of 51.2% of the long distance learning process. theory and practice using E-learning,. E-learning system's components that are improved are thebigbluebutton, attendance, login, additional notification features for student assignments, and attendance.

Abstract

Improving the quality of bio-ink by adding turmeric pigment for yellow color on digital printers in Jakarta State Polytechnic. One of proper ink for food packaging is ink that made from organic materials. Organic/bio- ink is ink whose pigments come from natural materials or from living things such as animals and plants. In general, conventional digital printer ink is made from synthetic chemicals that contain hazardous and toxic materials (B3) and can have a negative impact on the environment. One of the organic ink dyes derived from plants is turmeric root as a yellow dye. Curcumin pigment has the potential as a raw material for organic inkjet ink because it is environmentally friendly, cheap, and locally available. The purpose of this study was to obtain the composition of turmeric ink to achieve a yellow color that is close to the standard of conventional ink. The method used is a mixing process between turmeric pigment powder, ethanol, aquades, and gum Arabic. The variations of pigments used are 18 g, 20 g and 22 g.

Abstract

ABSTRACTIn the packaging production process, the material that have great influences the price of a packaging is paper material. The arrangement and placement of a product design called imposition in printing platesisdetermines the amount of paper used. If the imposition is not used optimally, the more paper used then the more waste produced. This results in considerable losses for the company. Therefore, this research aims to be low-cost and minimumwaste. The method used is the calculation of production price calculations (HPP) with duplex 350 gsm paper samples. Variations of the imposition used are: Imposition Not Inserts (TS), Insert (S), Join Not Inserts (GTS) and Insert Inserts (GS). This study produces that the imposition of TS produces the lowest waste of 10.87%. While the lowest price is GS imposition, which is Rp. 328.00 per package.Key words: packaging, imposition, waste, priceABSTRAKPada proses produksi kemasan, material yang sangat mempengaruhi dalam penentuan harga sebuah kemasan adalah material kertas. Pengaturan dan penempatan tata letak suatu desain produkyang sering disebut imposisi dipakai pada pembuatan pelat cetak sangat menentukan jumlah kertas yang digunakan. Jika imposisi tidak dimanfaatkan secara optimal maka kertas yang digunakan makin banyak dan waste yang dihasilkan akan semakin banyak juga. Hal ini berakibat kerugian yang cukup besar bagi perusahaan. Maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk murah dan yang menghasilkan waste paling sedikit. Metode yang digunakan adalah perhitungan kalkulasi harga produksi (HPP) dengan sampel kertas dupleks 350 gsm. variasi imposisi yang digunakan, antara lain: Imposisi Tidak Sisip (TS), Sisip (S), Gabung Tidak Sisip (GTS) dan Gabung Sisip (GS). Penelitian ini menghasilkan bahwa imposisi TS menghasilkan sampah (waste) paling rendah sebesar 10,87%. Sedang yang memiliki harga paling murah adalah imposisi GS, yaitu sebesar Rp. 328,00 per kemasan dengan oplah 10.000 pcs.Kata kunci : kemasan, imposisi, sampah, harga

Abstract

Plastic is common flexible material for packaging. One of common combination multilayer material are PET-ALU FOIL-LDPE. Multiplayer packaging through some step. Last steps is bag making. Bag making was processed with sealing inner plastic material in certain position with heat. Transverse direction (TD) for horizontal seal and Machine Direction (MD) for horizontal seal. The aim to gain a good seal strength is to avoid broken while filling process. Some factors that affect seal strength are temperature, time and pressure of sealing process. This research focus on seal strength value while temperature changed. Temperature starts from 140C to 240C with interval 20C. This experiment gained two optimum temperature and seal strength for TD and MD. Seal strength TD is 31 N/mm at 180C and seal strength 34 N/15mm at 160C for MD.

Abstract

Computerized embroidery sewing is an innovation that's relatively easy to learn and produces embroidered objects on fabric quickly and in a marketable way. This machine is ideal for seniors who still want to be productive and increase their income in their later years without having to spend too much time and effort learning to use it. Consequently, a community of seniors around Kranggan, Bekasi, who were interested in computerized embroidery sewing training was chosen. Before the training, participants were given a questionnaire to assess their prior knowledge of computerized embroidery techniques on fabric. It turned out that almost all participants had never used such a machine. As a result, during the training, when they gained new knowledge about using the embroidery machine, they were very enthusiastic about practicing and even suggested having more training sessions in the future to enhance their skills in embroidering prayer cloths and bags

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter terhadap anak usia dini harus diimbangi dengan pendidikan adab yang sesuai dengan syariat Islam. Salah satu lembaga yang menyediakan kurikulum pengembangan karakter dengan memberikan pendidikan adab adalah TK Islam Tahfizh Cahaya Qur’an. Untuk mendukung kegiatan tersebut, TK Islam Tahfizh Cahaya Qur’an membutuhkan media edukasi pengenalan adab dan doa sehari-hari ketika beraktivitas di sekolah seperti adab ketika masuk dan di dalam kelas, adab terhadap guru, serta adab berteman bergaya faceless art yang menarik dan interaktif. Dalam hal ini, buku cerita interaktif dapat menjadi solusi atas permasalahan tersebut. Buku cerita interaktif “Doa dalam Aktivitasku ketika Bersekolah” dirancang menggunakan metode design thinking yang tahapannya terdiri dari empathize, define, ideate, prototype, dan test. Adapun metode pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi literatur. Perancangan ini menghasilkan buku cerita bergaya faceless art yang memiliki fitur interaktif lift the flap dan pop-up, layout asimetris yang didominasi oleh gambar berwarna cerah dan bertekstur krayon, serta tipografi sans serif. Konsep faceless art dipilih karena ingin menyesuaikan visi dan pemahaman yang dimiliki oleh TK Islam Tahfizh Cahaya Qur’an terkait batasan dalam menggambar makhluk bernyawa. Hasil penelitian perancangan buku cerita interaktif dengan konsep faceless art ini telah berhasil menarik perhatian anak-anak dan membantu mereka berinteraksi dengan isi cerita Qur’an.

Abstract

Synthetic dyes in the textile industry are toxic and pollute the environment. As an alternative, natural dyes from avocado skin (Persea americana) have the potential to be used because they contain phenolic compounds such as flavonoids and tannins. However, its color stability is still a challenge. This study aims to evaluate the color stability of avocado skin pigments on cotton fabrics, with and without the addition of sodium benzoate as a stabilizer. The pigments were extracted through maceration using 96% ethanol, then applied to cotton fabrics and tested against light exposure and washing. Analysis was carried out on the parameters ΔE, Optical Density, and CMYK. The results showed that samples with sodium benzoate were more stable in color (ΔE = 1.34) than without stabilizer (ΔE = 3.31). Sodium benzoate is effective in maintaining the intensity and spectral stability of pigments, supporting their use in environmentally friendly natural textile dyes.

Abstract

Convection is a mass production business, and this production scale is on the small industry scale. D'LimaLima small industry is a screen printing start-up small industry that was only founded in 2023. This small industry is interested in starting a T-shirt screen printing business in various sizes. This activity was carried out by providing training in making t-shirts for 1 day. Participants who are beginners have different learning times for each person and each type of machine. The training methods that will be used include: Lecture, discussion, practice. From the observations, it was concluded that for all participants as beginners, sewing one t-shirt took more than one hour. This is caused by the lack of skills in using the three types of sewing machines (overlock, chain, double stitch). It took the three sewing trainers less than 1 hour to make one t-shirt, because they were trained and used to using industrial type sewing machines like that. On average, participants needed 10 minutes and 5 re-stitches when sewing on patchwork. so it can be confirmed that participants also need to repeat the activity more than five times to become more skilled at using the machine
