Abstract

Kata Kunci: Mahasiswa, Efikasi Diri Akademik, Stress Akademik Abstract- Academic stress is pressure that comes from academic activities. Thesis is a student obligation that must be completed to complete their undergraduate studies. Academic stress and Academic Self-Efficacy are two closely related theories (Zajacova et al., 2005). Personal beliefs such as self-efficacy are very useful for assessing pressure from the environment which will be interpreted as a threat or a challenge. However, many previous studies have proven that the results of these two variables are quite small. From several previous studies, there were similarities in the population, where the population taken in the previous study was too broad and did not have specific sample characteristics. This research examines how much influence Academic Self-Efficacy has on the academic stress of psychology students at UNISBA Batch 2018 which has less effective learning impact characteristics than distance learning. The method used in this study is a quantitative method. The respondents of this study were 41 students from the Faculty of Psychology at the Universitas Islam Bandung who were working on a thesis that met the criteria. The data analysis technique used in this study is Simple Linear Regression Analysis. The results of this study indicate that Academic Self-Efficacy has an influence on academic stress and has a large influence of 44.4%. Keywords: Student, Academic Self-Efficacy, Academic Stress

Individuals can express themselves through personal uploads, namely by uploading selfies. Several studies have found that uploading selfies is associated with several positive impacts for the uploaders, including self-esteem. Research also found a positive relationship between selfie activities and narcissism, which is a form of imbalanced self-esteem. There is even research that finds no relationship between self-esteem and selfie activities. The aim of this research is to see whether there is a relationship between selfie activities and self-esteem in emerging adulthood women. The subjects of this research were 103 emerging adulthood women in Bandung City. This research uses the Self-Esteem Scale (SFS) measuring tool by Boursier and Manna (2018) which has been adapted into Indonesian by Henryan and Simanjuntak (2022), and the Self-Esteem measuring tool by Hanifah and Aslamawati (2016). The analysis technique used is the Kendall's Tau correlation test. The results found that there was no significant relationship between selfie activities and self-esteem in emerging adulthood women in Bandung City with a value of r = .061 and a significance value of p = .376 > .05. Abstract

Previous research has highlighted bullying as a significant issue in Indonesia, with a notable increase in cyberbullying among adolescents during the COVID-19 pandemic, adversely affecting their psychological well-being. However, there has been limited discussion on bullying in the post-COVID-19 era. This study has three aims. The first is to examine the subjective well-being (SWB) of children who have either experienced bullying or have not been bullied after the pandemic. The second is to assess the occurrence of both traditional bullying (involving siblings and at school) and cyberbullying in Indonesia following COVID-19. The third aim is to investigate the factors linked to these forms of bullying post-pandemic. The participants were middle school students (N = 943; 57.2% girls, 45.0% in grade 7). The Children's Worlds Subjective Well-Being Scale with five items (CW-SWBS5) was employed to assess children's SWB. Separate measures were utilized for traditional and cyberbullying. Six factors—family, school climate, personal satisfaction, friendships, safety, and social media usage—were analyzed as independent variables using linear regression to determine their impact on bullying forms. The structural equation model (SEM) was applied to evaluate how these bullying types affect SWB. The findings revealed that sibling bullying and cyberbullying significantly influenced children’s SWB, with girls reporting lower SWB scores than boys. Cyberbullying emerged as the most prevalent form of bullying post-pandemic. A positive school climate was found to shield children from bullying. Cummins' theory of well-being homeostasis was employed to interpret the results. This study also discussed implications for educators and parents.

Abstract

Chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients undergoing hemodialysis are at high risk of experiencing anxiety due to lifestyle changes, dependence on dialysis machines, uncertainty of prognosis, and fear of death. If left untreated, anxiety can worsen the patient's physical and mental condition. Various psychological interventions have been used, but many are ineffective or difficult to implement in chronic patients. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in reducing anxiety in CKD patients. The method used was a quasi-experimental with a one-group pre-post test design, involving 6 participants through purposive sampling. Anxiety was measured using the Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI) by Dr. Aaron T. Beck (21 items). Data analysis was performed using the Paired T-test and the N-Gain test. The results showed that ACT significantly reduced anxiety (p = 0.000 < 0.05) with an average N-Gain of 57.36% (categorized as quite effective). Thus, ACT is quite effective in reducing anxiety in CKD patients at Hospital X, City B, Central Kalimantan.

The measuring tool used is the Lovibond stress scale which consists of 42 statements which include three aspects, physiological aspects, psychological aspects and behavioral aspects. The research method used was experimental in the form of a one group pre test post test design. The results of the pre test-post test showed a decrease in the degree of stress by 46.40%. Thus the research hypothesis which reads "Expressive writing therapy (EWT) is said to be effective in reducing the degree of stress in early adult women who experience Dating Violence if the degree of stress during the post-test is smaller than the pre-test is proven.
