Abstract

The learning process is one of the essential things in students' success in obtaining the material they get, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. Many students cannot carry out face to face in class. Therefore educators must provide the right method. So, students can understand the material it provides. Educators have used various ways not to feel bored, using the e-learning method. The study aims to determine Electronic-Based Mathematics Learning (EBML) for students' creative thinking ability in Sekolah Tinggi Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan (STKIP) Muhammadiyah Pagaralam. The method used is the quasi-experimental method in the one-shot case study category. The study population was all students of the Mathematics Education Study Program of STKIP Muhammadiyah Pagaralam. The study results because of the indicator creative thinking indicators: fluent review 69.44%, flexible thinking 71.76%, original thought 74.92%, and elaborative thinking 88.19%. It is obtaining an average value of students amounted to 76,08%, it is categorized as useful. EBML is designed to simplify and shorten the learning process. So, it becomes more efficient. It is also to train students to be more independent in gaining knowledge to reach a wider geographical area, both in discussions and references. The EBML is applied to students’ creative think in understanding the material presented.

Abstract

Abstrak: Kelurahan Tebat Giri Indah merupakan salah satu daerah yang memproduksi keripik, kerupuk, dan kemplang, tetapi terdapat permasalahan yaitu alat produksi yang digunakan masih sederhana sehingga produksi kurang optimal. serta kemasannya masih biasa, dan juga mitra terkendala pemasaran yang hanya bisa menjangkau wilayah lokal saja. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini yaitu mengadakan pelatihan dan pengabdian untuk mengoptimalkan produksi dan pemasaran produk keripik, kerupuk dan kemplang, di kelurahan Tebat Giri Indah. Dengan tahapan-tahapan yaitu analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, pendampingan dan implementasi, serta evaluasi. Peserta yaitu mitra dan masyarakat Tebat Giri Indah yang berjumlah 15 orang. Hasil dari kegiatan ini yaitu meningkatkan hasil produksi keripik dari 3 tandan/minggu menjadi 5 tandan/minggu, produksi kerupuk dari 200 kg/minggu menjadi 300 kg/minggu, dan produksi kemplang dari 200 kg/minggu menjadi 350 kg/minggu. Hasil lainya yaitu keripik, kerupuk dan kemplang memiliki kemasan yang menarik dan kekinian dengan adanya merk pada kemasannya, serta mitra memiliki akun media sosial sebagai media pemasaran yang jangkauannya lebih luas.Abstract: Tebat Giri Indah sub-district is one of the areas that produces chips, crackers and kemplang, but there is a problem, namely that the production equipment used is still simple so production is less than optimal. and the packaging is still ordinary, and partners are also constrained by marketing which can only reach local areas. The aim of this service is to provide training and service to optimize the production and marketing of chips, crackers and kemplang products, in the Tebat Giri Indah sub-district. With stages, namely needs analysis, design, assistance and implementation, and evaluation. Participants were partners and the Tebat Giri Indah community, totaling 15 people. The results of this activity are increasing chip production from 3 bunches/week to 5 bunches/week, cracker production from 200 kg/week to 300 kg/week, and kemplang production from 200 kg/week to 350 kg/week. Another result is that chips, crackers and kemplang have attractive and contemporary packaging with branding on the packaging, and partners have social media accounts as marketing media with a wider reach.

Abstract

The low level of conceptual understanding in social arithmetic material at SMP Muhammadiyah 26 jarai serves as the background for this study, which aims to determine the effect of the profit-opoly game media. This study employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method and a Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. The participant involved students from class VII.A as the experimental group  and class VII.C as the control group. The data were collected through test instrument that had been verified for validity. The findings of this study indicated that the average posttest score of the experimental class was 73.43, with an average conceptual understanding percentage of 77,13%, while the control class only reached an  average score of 53.11 with a average conceptual understanding percentage of 58.77%. Based on the Independent Sample t-Test result, it was found that the equal variances assumed had a sig.(2-tailed) value 0,000 < 0.05, or it could also be seen from the value of  = 3.998 > = 1.673. Therefore,it can be concluded that  was rejected and  was accepted, meaning that there was an effect of using the profit-opoly game media on student’s conceptual understanding in social arithmetic material.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada materi statistika setelah diterapkannya pembelajaran dengan pendekatan STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). Desain yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Pre- Experimental Designs dengan One Grub Pretest-Postest Design. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII.I SMPN 2 Pagaralam yang berjumlah 32 orang. Rata-rata pencapaian kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa termasuk dalam kategori baik dengan persentase sebesar 70%. Secara rinci, sebanyak 80% siswa mampu memahami informasi yang diketahui dan ditanyakan dalam soal, 70% bisa menghubungkan konsep dan membuat model matematika, 67% dapat menentukan strategi penyelesaian dengan benar, dan 63% bisa membuat kesimpulan dengan tepat. Hasil penelitian menggambarkan tingkat kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dalam konteks pembelajaran berbasis STEM.   The purpose of this study is to determine how critical students’ ability on statistical material is after the implementation of learning with a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) approach. The design used in this research is Pre- Pre-Experimental Designs with One Grub Pretest-Posttest Design. The subject in this study was class VIII students. i SMPN 2 Pagaralam which amounted to 32 people. The average achievement of students’ critical thinking ability is included in the category of both with a 70% percentage. In detail, as many as 80% of students are able to understand known information and asked in questions, 70% could connect the concept and create mathematical models, 67% of which can determine a settlement strategy properly, and 63% of students can make the conclusions. The results described the level of students’ critical thinking ability in a STEM-based learning context.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of use of JELAPEC (Fraction track eksploration) teaching aids on students’ critical thinking skills in fraction material for grade VII. The sample of this study was grade students as the experimental class and grade students as the control class. This study used an experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design. data collection techniques were carried out through documentation and critical thinking ability tests in the from of pretest and posttest. Data analysis used normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis tests with t tests. The results showed that students’ critical thinking skills in the experimental class were while in the control class were The results of the hypothesis test show that the use of the JELAPEC (Fraction Path Exploration) teaching aids has a significant effect on students’ critical thinking skills on fraction material. Thus, was rejected and was accepted. This shows that use of JELAPEC (Fraction Path Exploration) teaching aids is effective in improving students’ critical thinking skills for grade VII MTs Negeri 1 Pagar Alam. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of using student worksheets based on ethnomathematics of the Besemah batik motif on geometric transformation material on the conceptual understanding of grade X students at Muhammadiyah Pagar Alam High School in the 2025/2026 Academic Year. This study used an experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design. The study population was all 417 students of class X of Muhammadiyah Senior High School in the 2025/2026 academic year, while the sample was class X.C (Experimental) with 38 students and class X.D (Control) with 38 students. Data collection techniques used documentation and essay-based tests. The average score for the experimental class was 83 and the control class 63. Based on the t-test, the calculated t value was 6.792 > 1.993. Therefore, it can be concluded that learning using ethnomathematics-based worksheets (LKPD) with the Besemah batik motif on geometric transformation material on the conceptual understanding of class X students at Muhammadiyah Senior High School Pagar Alam in the 2025/2026 academic year is better than using conventional learning.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of STEM learning in the coffee context on students’ problem-solving ability in Statistics for grade X students at SMA Negeri 01 Tanjung Sakti Pumu. This research used a quantitative approach with an experimental method. The subjects consisted of 22 students with an average score of 81.727%. Data were collected through documentation and tests. The results showed that students’ ability to understand problems was in the very good category (99%), planning problem-solving strategies was in the good category (86%), implementing the plans was in the good category (87%), and reviewing the solutions was also in the good category (77.3%). It can be concluded that the problem-solving ability.
