Abstract

The problem of flooded road infrastructure mainly occurs in urban areas, due to low soil bearing capacity, high rainfall intensity, and failure of rainwater flow to the drainage system. Flooded roads, when traversed by motorized vehicles, will be very detrimental to the rider. Flood water can damage engines, transmissions, electrical components, and motor vehicle electronic computer systems. Water is also very dangerous to car safety devices, such as airbags and braking systems that use ABS (Antilock Braking System). Also, there may be health problems involving fungi and bacteria, due to damp vehicles, especially on cars. Other problems related to water may not be immediately apparent, such as rust and corrosion, which will develop over time. The flooded road reporting system is an early warning system that provides information to road users so they can take anticipatory steps. This research proposes a crowdsourcing-based flood road reporting system, called Frostid (Flooded Road Reporting System Indonesia), that involves local road users in collecting flood information. Frostid application users can not only access geospatial information for flooded roads but also can collect location data using the Global Positioning System (GPS) and upload the location points of flooded roads using their smartphones. The Frostid application uses a navigation map to describe the location of flooded roads. Flood information stored in the Frostid application is built entirely by local road users. The Frostid application is built on a mobile Android platform.

Abstract

The School of TK Al Wahyu Surabaya has difficulties in managing student data (especially students registered in the previous few years), so the school management only focuses on the list of students in the current academic year. Data management manually takes a long time, the accuracy of the people who handle it, and is very susceptible to human error. Based on the field survey that has been carried out, school managers have difficulty managing data recorded on papers and computer files, especially when the school has to send report data to the relevant City Government Education Office. Through this community service activity (PIHAT Program), the Proposing Team offers a solution to these problems by implementing the Student Management System at TK Al-Wahyu Surabaya. In this system, student data management is carried out using web-based software to facilitate data gathering, automatic data retrieval, and student data mapping. The activity steps needed to realize the proposed solution include system requirements analysis, system customization, server & network infrastructure preparation, system installation, data entry to the system, training and assistance for system operation, evaluation of problems that arise during system operation, improvement of the system to overcome obstacles that arise and ensure the system can run according to plan, as well as final evaluation to determine the effectiveness of system implementation. Based on the activities that have been carried out, the installation of the application system and the process of assisting school administrators and admins for the operation of the system have been carried out. School administrators are very enthusiastic about implementing this system. This system supports data management and reporting to the City Government Education Office. For TK Al Wahyu Surabaya, the application of this system is a new breakthrough for schools, which have been accustomed to manual work, then use software-based methods that are faster and more effective.

Abstract

The development of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) requires schools to always improve the quality of learning by utilizing the use of ICT. The development of ICT in schools provides many new opportunities that can support the learning process. The use of ICT plays an important role in improving the quality of education by increasing the development of educational content, supporting administrative processes in schools, and increasing access to education for teachers and students through distance learning. Utilization of ICT in the school environment can also assist in evaluating and improving the abilities and knowledge of each student. This study aims to design an integrated school learning information system using the CodeIgniter framework. The design of the integrated school learning information system model uses the Unified Modeling Language (UML). The design of the integrated school learning information system uses the PHP programming language and MySQL as the database. Integrated school learning information system includes various features e-modules, e-daily tasks, question banks, e-tests, e-reports, and e-monitoring. Integrated school learning information system is expected to improve the quality of learning so that it can improve students' abilities and knowledge. Integrated school learning information system is also expected to make it easier to obtain information on the results of evaluating students' abilities and knowledge as well as being a medium that can improve student achievement and quality of graduation.

Abstract

Agripina Kindergarten Surabaya, located in Rungkut District, Surabaya City, is an educational institution for pre-school education for early childhood and kindergarten. Agripina Kindergarten as an educational institution must be active in advancing the institution. The progress of educational institutions can be seen from the effectiveness in promoting schools to the community so that they can attract public interest in schools to these educational institutions. The rapid development of technology can be utilized by institutions in building relationships with the community and providing various information and facilities related to schools. This can be realized through the school website. The school website serves as a school profiling media. for that required the ability of human resources or teachers there in creating and managing web applications. Through the website as a school profiling medium, the identity of the school, the school's vision and mission, curriculum, teachers, student activities, and school facilities and infrastructure can be displayed. Through community service activities carried out by a team of lecturers from UPN veterans of East Java, they will provide training in the field of web creation and management for teachers there. Creating a basic school website through WordPress is taught through this activity, which serves as a type of training. WordPress is a website-based Content Management System (CMS) platform that can be operated by the public, without having special skills in the field of information technology such as programming. This community service activity aims to provide training to Agripina Kindergarten teachers to have the insight and skills to build a simple school website, it is hoped that teachers can use the website to build school profiling media to present themselves in the world of online portals.

Abstract

The SIMAPA system is a system for monitoring children's activities and development which is implemented at KB-TK Agripina Surabaya. The SIMAPA system has been designed using system development, namely SDLC (System Development Life Cycle). The system can be declared valid and by what is expected if testing has been carried out. An application can be tested using collaborative alpha and beta testing using the black box method. Alpha testing is carried out to see whether all systems can run well and is carried out by the system manufacturer. Meanwhile, in beta testing, the party who will assess the system is the user or people who are not involved in creating the system. This testing is carried out by distributing questionnaires to several users to assess the application that has been built. The questionnaire contains questions about the system being built so that it can be concluded whether the application is by the objectives. The results of the Beta test with 6 questions about the system obtained good results with an average score of 92%. so that the system built is by what is expected.
