This study aims to determine how the awareness of Mandailing Students towards their ethnic identity and how the role of mother's communication in instilling the values of Mandailing identity from an early age. The research approach was carried out qualitatively, data was obtained through literature study, observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. The results showed that the young Mandailing generation had a low level of awareness and understanding of the ethnic existence they carried. This condition applies because there is no information inheritance from parents, relatives regarding ethnic identity and it is not taught at school.

Community service activities are one of the activities that aim to assist the government in improving Good Government. Community participation is still very low in implementing the principles of good government. Yet society is a very important part of these principles. Because the role of the community is still very low, community service is held in the form of counseling and socialization about the importance of community participation in improving good government. To realize a civil society, good governance is needed, both at the center and at the local level so that they can work well together so that the goals desired by the community are carried out, and this is not the task of the central government alone but the government under it starting from the village government and local government. that is what we know as the implications of village autonomy. The village community is expected to become a useful community, especially in the process of administering government (at the village level in particular). Because the participation of the village community is a real embodiment of Good governance. This kind of society will be solid and actively participate in determining various government policies. In addition, this kind of society will also carry out an effective supervisory function in the implementation of government administration. If the community is not yet effective in front of the government and there are still many social problems in it such as conflict and group anarchism, it is very unlikely that Good governance can be implemented.

The purpose of this socialization is to provide knowledge to mothers about savings and loans, especially women who have a more role and benefit for the welfare and economy of the family. The method used is direct socialization to mothers, in the village of Marjandi Pematang Siantar. From the results of this dedication, that with the SPP mothers can play a role in increasing household income / income so that the economy can be further improved. SPP can help the capital of poor families if they want to open a business so that it is hoped that the community can live in prosperity. the people's economy can be more stable for those who really use it properly and correctly, namely as business capital. Members in a group co-exist and help each other, equally bear if one member does not pay then the other is responsible for the payment.

According to the observations by researchers that communication from business leaders to their subordinates still shows the boundary between leaders and subordinates. This phenomenon is the reason in this study. Information received by employees received in advance by a senior assistant manager of business development, The information received by employees is also not intact, because in this field of business development if there is a message to be delivered by the leader then the first person receiving the message is a senior assistant manager. The purpose of this study is to find out how the leadership’s downward communication strategy in improving employee work effectiveness at PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia I (PERSERO), as well as any factors that become obstacles to the downward communication strategy of business development leaders. This study used situational theory on this reaserch. The researcher selected the business manager’s senior manager as a key informant, and five additional informants to strengthen the validity of a study. The results of this research process, the researchers found that with the instruction of task, openness, trust, information, feedback carried out by business leaders to their employees had been well implemented.

This research tries to examine how the perception of society that is formed on local community which located at SAR Medan operation conducted search operation of missing person in Sibayak Mountain. Health is important to everyone. Health efforts are aimed at improving service quality, equity and reach of health services. The presence of the Social Security Administration Agency (BPJS) of Health proves the seriousness of the Government in providing health services for all Indonesians and provides an alternative to using health insurance. The purpose of this study is To analyze the Service On Outpatient Patients In BPJS Program at Medan Haji General Hospital. The research method used in this research is quantitative descriptive method Samples in this study amounted to 100 outpatients of BPJS participants, who were taken accidentally (within 10 days). Technique of collecting data there are two primary data and secondary data of primary data is done by Questionnaire, Interview, and Observation. Secondary Data Collection Techniques, namely Documentation, Library Studies, Descriptive statistical analysis techniques. The result of the outpatient service at Haji Hospital Medan was classified the answer where the good service was 15 people (15,0%), the good service was 79 people (79,0%), and the bad service was 6 people (6,0 %). Can be dismpulkan that service at Haji Hospital Medan is good enough.

Related to the political participation of the region which is the location of this study also discusses the problem at the level of political participation in the election of the Governor and Deputy Governor of North Sumatra 2018 is still very low. What causes it needs to be changed so that solutions can be found to overcome it, so this research is very important. This study uses qualitative methods with interview, observation, document and trigulation techniques. Hope the data obtained can be more complete tah facts in the field. The concept used in this study is the concept of Arifin Anwar (2011) which divides three assessments of political participation, namely providing votes in elections, campaigns and lobbying. The problem in this study is the political participation of the society in the election of the Governor and Deputy Governor of North Sumatra 2018, and what factors are Inhibiting the Political Participation of the Society. Based on the research results obtained in the field, it shows that political participation in the community is very low, there are also factors that in volve community participation are internel factors and external factors. Suggestions for the future are expected so that the bureaucracy is neutral in very regional head election implementation, it is also hoped that supervision in the regional head election will be tightened.

The purpose of this study was to find out interpersonal communication in the assimilation of the Javanese and Tamil Groups in the dead alley, to find out the assimilation of Javanese tribes and Tamil tibes in Sei Serayu Buntu Alley, Medan Sunggal sub-district, North Sumatera, and to find out what factors were the barriers and supporters of the assimilation of Javanese and Tamil tribes. This study uses the assimilation theory. In collecting data, research conducted face to face interviews with four informants, including two Tamil informants, and two Javanese informants. This study uses skinative research with descriptive analysis. The results of this study are that there is a mixed marriage between the Javanese and Tamil tribes as well as a factor of tolerance and cultural similarity between the two tribes.

This study aims to determine the extent of the Leadership of the Village Head (Datuk Penghulu) on the Effectiveness of Village Service Services in the Community of Aceh Tamiang District Health Village in 2017. Leaders can influence morale, job satisfaction, security, work quality and especially the level of achievement of an organization.Â The ability and skills in direction are important factors for the effectiveness of an organization. By looking at several aspects to determine the effect of Leadership and Measurement of Service Effectiveness in the Health Village of Karang Baru Subdistrict, Aceh Tamiang Regency, namely: loyalty, Decision Making Communication, Responsibility and Obedience of leaders to regulations. in this study using a qualitative descriptive method, the location of the study was conducted in the Health Village of Karang Baru sub-district, Aceh Tamiang Regency. Data collection techniques are interviews, observation and documentation, it can be concluded that the Leadership of the Village Head (Datuk Penghulu) Against the Effectiveness of Service of Village Devices in the Community of Aceh Tamiang District Health Village in 2017 has been good.Â

Background of this research by sales information smartphone OPPO Year 2017. According to IDC (International Data Corporation) with counterpoint.com, smartphone OPPO was ranked as the second smartphone best-selling in Indonesia, a phenomenon that a major reason researchers. The purpose of this study to determine how the marketing communication strategy PT. INDONESIA OPPO in improving the smartphone OPPO image, and the contributing factorsimage smartphone OPPO is not significantly increased. Researchers used Promotion Mix theory is supported by Diffusion of Innovations. The method I use in this research is descriptive qualitative. Researchers chose Trainer smartphone OPPO as a key informant, and supported by five additional informants to strengthen the validity of a study. The results of the present study, researchers found that the tagline "Selfie Expert and Leader", After Sales, Training Personality, comparison with smartphones otheras well as a "Selfi" with friends, managed to change the negative image into a positive image.
