Abstract

Reading is an obligation for students, Therefore, Indonesian Tadris students who will become educators should also be able to develop reading skills. Unfortunately, this is still far from expectations, thus it is necessary to apply the right and suitable method to increase student passion in the reading comprehensive subject. The purpose of this study was to describe the implementation, benefits, constraints, and solutions of the KaKi technique with quantum learning style in the Comprehensive Reading learning. This study used descriptive qualitative with a case study research approach. The data sources are obtained from places, events, informants, and documents. Places and events are the processes of implementing learning carried out in the classroom. The informants in this study were Indonesian Tadris Department students. The documents studied are related to the implementation of Comprehensive Reading learning. The data obtained were analyzed using an interactive analysis model which included data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. The results showed that 1) the implementation of the KaKi technique with Quantum Learning Style was suitable with theĀ  RPS or Semester Learning Plan compiled by lecturers following curriculum standards. 2) There are benefits in implementing the KaKi technique with Quantum Learning Style. 3) There are constraints in implementing the KaKi technique with Quantum Learning Style.

Abstract

The drama script is a type of prose fiction literature that can not only be enjoyed through pen strokes from writers, but also aims to be performed on stage shows. In drama scripts, the topic or story that is displayed is inseparable from the life of society in general. Through the action of the cast of the cast, it is able to show that the story brought in the script seems to reflect the real life. This study aims to describe the form of reality of social life that occurs in the H.A.H drama by Putu Wijaya. This research is in the form of qualitative descriptive, with the method of analysis analysis through the sociological approach of literature. The source of the data in this study is citation text in the H.A.H drama script by Putu Wijaya, which reflects the reality of social life in the village community. Data collection techniques in this study are document techniques. While the data validity technique used in this study uses source triangulation. Triangulangi source is one of the validity test data that is suitable for use in this study. After analysis, the results of this study show that Putu Wijaya's H.A.H drama script reflects the social life of the community such as: moral degradation, cultural shifts, social conflict, crime. This is due to weak economic conditions, lack of understanding of religious teachings about faith, faith and piety, and lack of education.

Abstract

Register is one variation of language that arises because of the existence of certain social groups. This is because language always experiences development which cannot be seen when the language development occurs. The existence of social groups such as professional field does not rule out the possibility of creating a register. This study aims to describe the form of secret language codes or registers that often appear in the Master Chef Indonesia season 5 cooking. This research is included in the type of qualitative descriptive. Data and sources of data in this study are English words spoken either by the jury or the contestants, which are related to cooks or cooking. Data collection uses simat and note technique, that is by listening the use of English language registers on research objects, namely the Master Chef Indonesia season 5 impressions uploaded on youtube social networks. The results showed that there were forms of adjectives, nouns, verbs and adverbs in the spoken language used in the cooking competition. The existence of the phenomenon of the English register further adds to the vocabulary of the community, in bilingual mastery.

Abstract

Penelitian deskriptif kualitatif ini mendeskripsikan tentang kemampuan menulis siswa kelas X IPA 1 di MAN 1 Surakarta. Penelitian yang dilakukan pada tahun 2018 ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sampai sejauh mana kemampuan menulis siswa dengan bantuan media berupa video hikayat abu nawas dengan cara mendeskripsikan melalui bentuk kata-kata maupun tulisan. Subjek penelitian yaitu kelas X IPA 1 dengan siswa yang berjumlah 34 orang. Data yang diambil untuk mengetahui keterampilan menulis siswa dengan menggunakan metode penilaian tes tertulis. Teknik analisis data bertujuan untuk membeirkan gambaran mengenai kemampuan menulis siswa di kelas X IPA 1. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan siswa dalam keterampilan menulis menunjukkan kategori baik. 4 siswa mendapat kategori nilai kurang, 13 siswa mendapat kategori nilai cukup, dan 17 siswa mendapat kategori nilai baik. Hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan acuan bagi guru bahasa Indonesia di MAN 1 Surakarta maupun di sekolah lain untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbahasa siswa. Kata Kunci : Kemampuan Siswa; Menulis; Teks Hikayat. Abstract. This descriptive qualitative study describes the writing ability of class X students of IPA 1 in MAN 1 Surakarta. The research conducted in 2018 aims to determine the extent to which students' writing skills with the help of the media are in the form of the video of abu nawas saga by describing it through the form of words and writing. The research subjects were class X IPA 1 with 34 students. Data was taken to find out students' writing skills using the written test assessment method. The data analysis technique aims to provide an overview of the writing skills of students in class X Science 1. The results of the study show that students' abilities in writing skills show good categories. 4 students get a less value category, 13 students get enough value categories, and 17 students get good value categories. The results of this study can be used as a reference for Indonesian language teachers in MAN 1 Surakarta and in other schools to improve students' language skills.
