Abstract

The competition is increasingly competitive in the world of education, particularly in this uncertain situation, it encourages every agency to plan, control, and determine the right policies. This study aims to explain the overall relationship between participatory budgeting and managerial performance by including Psychological Capital as an intervening variable and Leader Member Exchange as a moderating variable. The method used was a mixed method with a parallel convergent approach, it is conducted to produce more comprehensive facts. The method of data analysis and hypothesis testing used was Structural Equation Modeling. The survey results of 161 managerial positions in private high schools in DIY indicated that budget participation was directly related to managerial performance. Psychological capital was found to partially mediate the relationship between participatory budgeting and managerial performance. Then, the higher relationship between superiors and subordinates will increase the relationship between participatory budgeting and managerial performance. The survey results were also supported by the results of interviews with informants. This research contributes to the formation of employee of psychological capital and the implementation of leadership style as an important factor in influencing performance.

Abstract

The school functioned as a place to educate and forge students into complete individuals. Schools, through existing facilities, must be able to prepare students to be competent in the digitalization era. Efforts to improve the quality of learning during the current pandemic must be in the process of improving and updating the learning media used. This study aims to determine the role of digitalization of learning media on the quality of learning at SDN Bronggang Baru. The method used in this study is qualitative, with a focused interview approach carried out through several stages. The observations were made to obtain an initial picture regarding digitization at SDN Bronggang Baru. Based on these observations, a literature study was conducted to provide a theoretical analysis of digitalization in schools based on previous research and expert opinions. Data collection and processing are done based on the results of observations and literature studies that have been performed as well as the effects of focus group discussions. This research shows that the output of digitalization of learning media implemented at SDN Bronggang Baru positively impacts the quality of learning for the entire academic community in the school environment. Digitizing education makes the transfer of information easy and fast. Services to students can be maximized with the digitalization of this education. The digitalization of education can be the forerunner to realizing an intelligent school with an insight into the future.

Abstract

Merujuk pada konsep One Village One Product, menjadi desa yang mandiri, memiliki produk unggulan, dan memiliki masyarakat yang sejahtera tentu menjadi cita-cita yang ingin dicapai semua desa. Namun dalam pencapaiannya sering terkendala berbagai aspek. Desa Kelor merupakan desa yang memiliki potensi sebagai penghasil daun kelor beserta produk turunannya, namun potensi ini masih belum disadari oleh masyarakat. Oleh karena itu diharapkan dengan pengabdian ini mampu memberikan pemahaman baru tentang pentingnya perubahan pola pikir yang lebih maju dan inovatif. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah dengan pendekatan secara langsung dan melakukan penyuluhan awal tentang potensi kesehatan dan bisnis daun kelor. Hasilnya diperoleh bahwa kini sebagian besar warga desa kelor berminat untuk menjadi wirausahawan produk turunan daun kelor ditengah kesehariannya

Abstract

Starting with understanding the importance of technological skills in the modern workplace, this community service targets Santa Maria High School Yogyakarta students to gain better knowledge and skills in using Canva to make presentations and create the curriculum vitae. Focuses on transferring knowledge and technical skills and aims to improve students' critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Students are encouraged to develop their creativity and think outside the box when presenting information and completing specific tasks and preparing to enter the workforce or continue their studies at a higher education level. It directly benefits students' technological skills and has a significant long-term impact, with increased hard skills in Canva and honed problem-solving abilities. This community service contributes positively to strengthening the relationship between schools and the world of work by ensuring that high school graduates have skills relevant to current industry needs.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to provide knowledge and develop abilities, as well as motivate high school students in terms of public speaking and self-imaging. This community service activity was carried out at Santa Maria High School Yogyakarta. The method of implementation is collecting initial data, analyzing problems, formulating solutions, and implementing training with a focus on improving the soft skills of the students. The results of this service, the school was very welcomed, and the students participated in the training and mentoring with great enthusiasm. As a result, the students consider that public speaking skills are important to master from an early age because these skills have many crucial benefits for their personal and professional development. Not only that but building their personal branding as early as high school is useful for positively establishing their own identity and reputation, as well as preparing them for a future in the competitive world of work. Having a good self-image can give students a leg up in securing scholarships, college places, or jobs.

Abstract

Abstrak - Kepercayaan dan Kecakapan Keuangan dalam Pengambilan Keputusan Asuransi: Perspektif AkuntansiTujuan Utama - Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis interaksi antara persepsi risiko, pengetahuan keuangan, dan kepercayaan dalam mempengaruhi keputusan pembelian asuransiMetode - Studi ini menggunakan metode structural equation modeling (SEM). Responden penelitian ini adalah individu yang memiliki pengalaman dalam mengambil keputusan pembelian asuransi.Temuan Utama – Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa persepsi risiko yang tinggi mendorong individu untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan keuangan mereka. Selain itu, pengetahuan keuangan yang lebih tinggi berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian asuransi. Pada sisi lainnya, kepercayaan pada penyedia asuransi juga memainkan peran penting dalam mendorong keputusan pembelian, terutama ketika persepsi risiko tinggi.Implikasi Teori dan Kebijakan - Secara teoritis, penelitian ini menunjukkan relevansi theory of planned Behaviour. Implikasi praktisnya, pendidikan keuangan serta transparansi laporan keuangan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman dan kepercayaan konsumen, sehingga mendorong adopsi asuransi.Kebaruan Penelitian - Penelitian ini menggunakan perspektif akuntansi untuk menelaah peran kecakapan keuangan dan kepercayaan dalam keputusan pembelian asuransi. Abstract - Trust and Financial Acumen in Insurance Decision-Making: An Accounting PerspectiveMain Purpose - This study analyzes the interaction between risk perception, financial knowledge, and trust in influencing insurance purchase decisions.Method - This study employs Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The respondents are individuals with experience in making insurance purchasing decisions.Main Findings - The study finds that high-risk perceptions encourage individuals to enhance their financial knowledge. Additionally, higher financial knowledge significantly influences insurance purchasing decisions. Trust in insurance providers also plays a critical role in driving purchasing decisions, particularly when risk perception is high.Theory and Practical Implications - Theoretically, this study demonstrates the relevance of the theory of planned behavior. Practically, it suggests that financial education and transparency in financial statements can improve consumer understanding and trust, thereby encouraging insurance adoption.Novelty - This study adopts an accounting perspective to examine the role of financial acumen and trust in insurance purchasing decisions.

Abstract

This research will look at eight components Quality of Work Life on job satisfaction of an accountant. For employees to experience a high quality of work life, their needs must be met while they are employed by the organization or company. To achieve job satisfaction, it is very important to consider the demands of employees. One of the key elements in the effective implementation of company activities is representative job satisfaction. 107 accountants working in internal companies, public accountants, government accountants, and accountant educators participated in this study. In this study's quantitative technique and hypothesis testing, PLS-SEM is applied. The outcomes of hypothesis testing revealed five major elements Quality of Work Life - Immediate opportunity to use and develop human capacities, Adequate and fair compensation, Safe and healthy working conditions, The social relevance of work life, and Constitutionalism in the work organization has a significant positive impact on job satisfaction in the accounting profession. However, three main factors Quality of Work Life - Opportunity for continued growth and development, Social in the work organization, dan Work and total life space have a favorable, albeit little, effect on how satisfied accounting professionals is with their jobs. Keywords: Quality of Work Life; Job Satisfaction; Accountant Profession Penelitian ini akan melihat delapan komponen Quality of Work Life pada kepuasan kerja akuntan. Agar karyawan dapat mengalami kualitas kehidupan kerja yang tinggi, kebutuhan mereka harus dipenuhi selama mereka dipekerjakan oleh organisasi atau perusahaan. Untuk mencapai kepuasan kerja, sangat penting untuk memperhitungkan tuntutan karyawan. Salah satu elemen kunci dalam pelaksanaan aktivitas perusahaan yang efektif adalah kepuasan kerja yang representatif. 107 akuntan yang bekerja di internal perusahaan, akuntan publik, akuntan pemerintah, dan akuntan pendidik berpartisipasi dalam penelitian ini. PLS-SEM digunakan dalam metodologi kuantitatif dan pengujian hipotesis penelitian ini. Menurut hasil pengujian hipotesis, lima aspek utama Quality of Work Life - Immediate opportunity to use and develop human capacities, Adequate and fair compensation, Safe and healthy working conditions, The social relevance of work life, dan Constitutionalism in the work organization memiliki dampak positif yang signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja dalam profesi akuntansi. Abstract

Saat ini peningkatkan literasi keuangan dan kesadaran pajak di kalangan siswi/i adalah hal mendesak agar mereka dapat mengelola keuangan pribadi dengan bijak dan memahami peran pajak dalam pembangunan masyarakat.Program ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan literasi keuangan dan budaya sadar pajak sebagai upaya penguatan soft skill di SMA Santa Maria Yogyakarta. Literasi keuangan yang baik sangat penting untuk mempersiapkan siswa/i dalam mengelola keuangan pribadi dan memahami pentingnya pajak dalam pembangunan negara. Melalui program edukasi yang melibatkan berbagai metode dan simulasi dimana siswi diajak untuk memahami konsep dasar keuangan dan kewajiban perpajakan. Program ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kesadaran siswa akan pentingnya pengelolaan keuangan yang bijak serta tanggung jawab sosial melalui pembayaran pajak. Hasil dari program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menunjukkan bahwa penguatan literasi keuangan dan budaya sadar pajak sangat penting dilakukan guna meningkatkan pengembangan soft skill siswa, yang pada akhirnya dapat mendukung mereka menjadi individu yang lebih bertanggung jawab dan berdaya saing di masa depan. Dengan demikian, integrasi pendidikan literasi keuangan dan pajak menjadi langkah strategis dalam mencetak generasi muda yang cerdas dan sadar akan kewajiban mereka di kemudian hari.

Abstract

This study explores how accounting academic programs in Indonesia respond to the evolving roles of the accounting profession amid digitalization and the sustainability era. There is a widespread perception that digital technologies may reduce the demand for accountants by replacing human roles with automation. A mixed-method approach was employed, combining qualitative and quantitative data collection through surveys, documentation review, observations, in-depth interviews, and a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with accounting professionals and educators. The findings reveal those technological advancements—such as financial reporting software and IT applications—have significantly transformed accounting tasks by simplifying and accelerating financial statement preparation. However, the participants emphasize that foundational accounting knowledge remains indispensable. IT tools cannot replace accountants, as their role extends beyond report preparation to include financial data analysis and interpretation. Accounting education in Indonesia is adapting by integrating information technology skills alongside traditional accounting principles to ensure professionals remain relevant in a digital and sustainability-driven environment. The study calls for accounting curricula to include digital skills, ethics, and sustainability to better prepare graduates.
