Abstract

This research aims to make buck converter prototype for PLTS system by using fuzzy logic controller. Buck converter is required in the PLTS system if the required unidirectional voltage is smaller than the output voltage of the solar cell. Buck converter used to convert 24 Volt dc voltage to 12 Volt dc with 60 watt capability. While fuzzy logic controller is used to improve buck converter performance based on pulse generation technique for switching. The application of fuzzy logic method is expected to improve the performance of the system by maintaining the stability of buck converter output voltage of 12 volts and reduce the output ripple value. Atmega8535 microcontroller is used to generate PWM pulses for switching on power circuits. The results obtained from the test using a 100 Ohm 5 Watt load obtained the buck converter output voltage of 12.4 Volt.

Abstract

Tulisan ini menjelaskan skenario inovatif dalam peningkatan kompetensi mengajar elektronika digital di sekolah menengah kejuruan. Kegiatan ini dilakukan berupa pelatihan dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran teknik digital khususnya mengenai gerbang logika. Peserta pelatihan bekerja sama dalam tim untuk menyelesaikan topik yang diberikan yang diawali dengan desain dan simulasi yang kemudian melakukan praktek dalam menyelesaikan media pembelajaran yang ditugaskan. Pada akhir skenario dilakukan evaluasi terhadap pekerjaan yang dilakukan dan evaluasi terhadap jalannya kegiatan pelatihan.

Abstract

Seiring dengan pertumbuhan penduduk, kawasan pemukiman, industri dan ekonomi akan meningkatkan kebutuhan energi listrik. Peningkatan kebutuhan energi listrik yang tidak diikuti dengan pertumbuhan pasokan energi listrik mengakibatkan terjadi pemadaman listrik. Pemadaman listrik pada rumah tinggal dapat diatasi dengan pemasangan sel surya off grid dengan backup battery. Tujuan penelitian ini menghasilkan desain pembangkit listrik energi terbarukan dengan sel surya 6 x 50 Wp dengan kapasitas bateray 150 Ah pada tegangan 12 V. Pemasangan panel surya pada rumah tinggal tersebut dapat dimanfaatkan untuk penerangan dengan kapasitas 300 watt. Hasil penelitian ini bahwa perubahan cuaca sangat mempengaruhi daya yang dihasilkan dari sel surya dimana semakin cerah cuaca akan menghasilkan daya yang lebih besar dibandingkan saat cuaca berawan. Setelah melakukan pengujian pada solar cell memiliki saran Energi listrik yang dihasilkan oleh Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS) hanya bisa digunakan untuk keperluan lampu penerangan dan beban kecil yang ada di rumah tinggal.

Abstract

SMKN 1Painan and SMKN 1 Koto XI Tarusan is a school of many Vocational Schools whose activities refer to the preparation of students to enter employment and the development of professional attitudes. Based on the results of surveys and interviews conducted by the implementation team with the SMKN 1 Painan and SMKN 1 Koto XI Tarusan, data was obtained that they really needed skills in the field of Digital Engineering. The purpose of this activity is to improve students' skills in understanding digital electronic circuits as a provision for entering employment. The method used is a lecture method on digital engineering material and direct practice on how to make digital electronic circuits. This activity was carried out at SMKN 1 Painan which lasted for 2 days. The results obtained from this activity are in the form of digital electronic circuits in the form of a 1 digit up counter series of 10 units and an increase in students' skills in making and understanding the workings of the circuit that has been made.

Abstract

This paper shows the use of passive filters to reduce the distortion of input waves in a single phase uncontrolled rectifier. Simulations are carried out with various passive filter models to get a decrease in the value of Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) and correct the distortion of the uncontrolled single phase rectifier input waveform. The results of the simulation show the shape of the input signal changes in the uncontrolled single-phase rectifier, analyzing the value of power factor improvement and also the THD value.

Abstract

Increasing teacher competence in managing digital electronics learning in Vocational High Schools must always be managed and improved. This activity can be carried out by training in developing digital engineering learning media, especially regarding logic gates. The trainees work together in teams to complete the given topic, which begins with the design and simulation and then practices in completing assigned instructional media. At the end of the scenario an evaluation of the work carried out and an evaluation of the course of the training activities. From the evaluation results it was found that there was an increase in the competence of vocational teachers in Pesisir Selatan District in mastering learning media, and from the results of the questionnaire analysis, it was concluded that the participants gave a positive response to the implementation of the training.

Abstract

SMK N 1 Painan and SMK N 1 Koto XI Tarusan develops a new study program namely Audio Video Engineering, one of the objectives is to prepare students to have the skills to enter employment. Based on the results of surveys and interviews conducted with the school, the problems that are being faced are where the Audio Video Technique is more directed to the electronic field but in all teaching and learning activities, especially practical activities using electrical-related equipment, such as power supplies. The power supply is a basic knowledge of electricity that is not specifically studied in the field of Audio Video Engineering. Likewise, during the Industrial Work Practice, the same problems were encountered in the field. Overcoming these problems is held a skills training carried out in the form of theory and practice to increase knowledge about how to design power supplies, calculate the needs of components and assemble power supplies. A power supply that will be made with variable output or variable. The training was targeted to produce a product in the form of a Power Supply prototype. This product is expected to be used by the next student as a place to increase knowledge about the power supply. Good for the learning process in the classroom, especially practical learning or as preparation for students who will do industrial practice or internship so that existing problems can be addressed properly.

Abstract

Teacher competence must be increase by carried out continuously, because the success of learning is the responsibility of educators. Technology-based learning will help educators in the Industrial Revolution 4.0 era, especially vocational teachers who teach in the productive field (engineering subjects). The problem faced is the inability of teachers to use computers as learning media. The teacher has not been able to utilize software engineering that will help in the process of practical learning, such as NI Multisim and Proteus software in learning electrical circuits and electronic circuits. Therefore, integrated and comprehensive training is needed for teachers to utilize software engineering. The training was attended by 15 teachers who taught on productive subjects (Engineering). From the results of this training it appears that all participants can already use NI Multisim and Proteus software. Based on the questionnaire indicators that have been analyzed it can also be seen that most of the participants are of the view that the implementation of the training has provided profound benefits and is very helpful in improving the participants' quality

Abstract

One of the advantages of Vocational High School (SMK) is that graduates are ready to work. For this reason, students must be equipped with skill abilities in accordance with existing technological developments. In the last few years, the development of digital technology has been very advanced which has caused Vocational High School to be required to prepare their students to adapt to existing developments. SMKN 1 Painan is one of the productive Vocational Schools that develops new study programs namely Audio Video Engineering (TAV), one of the objectives is to prepare students to have the skills to enter employment. The obstacle faced by SMKN 1 Painan is to follow the development of digital technology, especially in terms of facilities, this is because the TAV study program is still new. Through the creation of logic gate learning media, it is expected to help the obstacles faced by SMKN 1 so that the existing problems can be addressed properly

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi yang sangat pesat diera globalisasi saat ini telah memberikan banyak manfaat dalam kemajuan diberbagai aspek sosial.Penggunaan teknologi oleh manusia dalam membantu menyelesaikan pekerjaan merupakan hal yang menjadi kebutuhan dalam kehidupan.Trainer adalah kumpulan komponen dan alat sebenarnya atau pun duplikasi dari pesawat yang sebenarnya yang dapat memberikan pengalaman mempraktekkan.Pengembangan trainer ini dilatar belakangi oleh minimnya trainer pendukung mata kuliah Elektronika Analog dan Digital  serta penggunaan trainer Gerbang logika yang ada belum optimal dalam pembelajaran. Jenis pengembangan penelitian  ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang menggunakan prosedur penelitian Borg and Gall. Hasil kajian diperoleh bahwa validitas Trainer sebesar 88%, Praktikalitas yang dihasilkan dengan rata-rata sebesar 86% dan Uji coba terbatas terhadap 16 orang mahasiswa Program Studi S1-Pendidikan Teknik Elektro, diperoleh persentase penilaian 92 %.Trainer Gerbang Logika dikategorikan valid dan praktis digunakan dalam praktikum.
