Abstract

Basic Electrical and Electronics Subjects are basic subjects that must be studied by students. In the implementation of learning, there is a lack of handbook modules for students, so that low student motivation has an impact on student learning outcomes. The availability of adequate teaching materials will certainly increase student motivation and make it easier for students to understand the lesson. For this reason, this study aims to produce a valid and practical learning module in Basic Electricity and Electronics (DLE) subjects. The research method used is the Research and Development method with the 4D Model. The research subject was the learning module for class X TKL SMK Negeri 1 Bukittingi in semester 1 of the 2020/2021 academic year. Based on the results of the study, the validity of the learning module from 3 validators (1 media expert lecturer, 1 material expert, and 1 subject teacher) obtained an average of 90% in the valid category. The practicality test with teacher respondents was 90.4% and 23 students obtained an average of 75% stating that the DLE learning module was practical. From the research data above, it can be concluded that the learning module in the DLE subject is valid and practical in the teaching and learning process for Basic Electricity and Electronics

Abstract

Industrial Electrical Installation Practice is a subject in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Padang State University that must be taken by students. In practical implementation, they still use the old Jobsheet and have not used industry-based jobsheets, so students don't know much about existing equipment in the industry. The availability of industry-based jobsheets makes it easy for students to apply practical learning to Industry and get to know the many equipments in the Industry. For this reason, this study aims to produce a valid and practical industry-based jobsheet. The research method used is the Research and Development method with the 4D Model. The research subject was a practical Jobsheet for students majoring in Electrical Engineering FT UNP, for the 2020/2021 academic year. Based on the research results, the validity of the industry-based Jobsheet from the validators (media expert validators and material experts) obtained an average valid category. Practicality Test with respondents Lecturer in the Industrial Electrical Installation Practice Course obtained an average with the very practical category. From the research data above, it can be concluded that the industrial-based Industrial Electrical Installation Practice jobsheet is valid and practical to use for Industrial Electrical Installation Practices lectures.

Abstract

This research is a process carried out in developing a learning media in Basic Electricity and Electronics subjects using articulate storyline software at State Vocational High School 2 Lubuk Basung. The resulting media is in the form of interactive media, so that media can be used must go through a series of assessment processes. The purpose of this research is to produce learning media that are categorized as valid and practical. This research is based on problems related to learning media used in Basic Electrical and Electronics subjects that have not provided optimal results on student learning outcomes and low interest and student motivation in the learning process. The availability of learning media that is less varied and the tendency of teachers to use the same media causes saturation of students. Media development is carried out using the Research and Development (R & D) research method using the 4-D (four D) development model through four main procedures, namely definition, design, development, and dissemination. The results obtained in research with the feasibility of media by material experts on the content aspect were valid and the learning aspect was valid. The feasibility of media by media experts on technical aspects is valid and functional aspects are categorized as valid. The practicality assessment of the media resulted in very practical categories.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the not yet compiling effective learning materials. So that learning is still teacher-centered and has not yet been created for students to learn independently. Therefore, it is necessary to have teaching materials that support the learning process in utilizing technology, one of which is by using e-modules. This research aims to produce a valid and practical e-module in the Basic Electrical and Electronics Class of the TITLL class at SMK Negeri 1 Pariaman. This research uses a 4-D development model with four stages, namely Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. The subjects of this research trial were students of class X TITL at SMK Negeri 1 Pariaman. The data were collected using a validity and practicality questionnaire in the form of a Likert scale which had been validated by an instrument expert lecturer. Data analysis using percentage techniques. The results showed that the validator respondents were two lecturers and one teacher on the validity of the product in the valid category, while the two teacher respondents on the practicality of the product were obtained in the very practical category. Thus, the e-module of Basic Electricity and Electronics was declared valid and practically used as a learning medium for Basic Electricity. and Electronics.

Abstract

Abstract—The potential for solar energy sources is so large that it has not been optimally utilized, as a renewable energy source. The use of solar energy as a generator of electricity is very potential to be developed in West Sumatra Province. We know that the price of electricity obtained from this non-renewable energy is much more expensive in the short term, but it is much more valuable when calculated in the long term, especially from the aspect of environmental protection. The continuity of electrical services can always be fulfilled. It is necessary to combine PLN electricity sources and electricity sourced from solar energy as an alternative so that the reliability of the supply of electrical energy can be maintained. However, the large potential of renewable energy sources has not been able to be utilized optimally by the wider community, due to the limited competence of human resources who are able to utilize this energy. Through community service activities, Padang State University in collaboration with the Budi Utama Youth Assisted Child Orphanage in Lubuk Alung tries to make a contribution to improving Human Resource Competence through empowerment and community training with an integrated and sustainable process. One of the competency improvement activities carried out is training on the skills of installing electricity from PLN sources and solar energy installations. This training activity aims to provide understanding in the planning, design, operation, and maintenance of PLN sources and solar panel installations. The end result of this training is being able to provide education, increase skills, and competencies to participants to improve technical skills.

Abstract

This research studies producing interactive learning media that is valid and practical in the subject of electricity and electronics in class X TITL in Vocational High School 1 Padang. The type of research used is research and development with ADDIE development model. Interactive learning media developed was used software Construct 2 and validated by 3 validators. Interactive learning media tested limited to class X electric power installation techniques in Vocational High School 1 Padang. Based on the result of the study, interactive learning media validity testing obtained by 0,83 with a valid category. The teacher practicality test result obtained 89,55% with a practical category and the result of the practicality test by student amounted to 85,66% with a practical category. This research has produced interactive learning media that is valid and practical in the basic electricity and electronics subject in basic competence analyzing the theorem of the direct current electric circuit in class X TITL in Vocational High School 1 Padang.

Abstract

This research aims to find out whether or not the attitude and interest of students in industrial electrical installation courses through the application of project-based learning charged with technopreneurship.In addition, to find out the attitude and entrepreneurial interests of students after applying project-based learning loaded with technopreneurship.In addition, to find out the improvement between the attitude and interest of student entrepreneurs before applying project-based learning loaded technopreneurship and attitudes and interests of student entrepreneurs after the implementation of project based learning loaded technopreneurship at Padang State University. This research uses quantitative approaches with research methods. The instrument used is a response to the attitude and entrepreneurial interest of students towards PJBL. The subjects in this study were D4 students who took industrial electrical installation courses including grades 3TEIB1 and 3TEIB2 numbering 30 people. Analysis of instrument data in this study using the help of the SPSS 25.0.0 program. and Microsoft excel. The results of this study show that: Student entrepreneurial attitude towards the application of project-based learning loaded technopreneurship that has been applied is emerging, and effective to improve the entrepreneurial attitude of students from the results of research that shows in the moderate category. Student entrepreneurial interest in the application of project-based learning loaded with technopreneurship that has been applied is also emerging and is very effective to increase student entrepreneurial interest from research results that show in the high category.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to develop a valid, practical, and effective technopreneur-based e-module to increase the entrepreneurial spirit in the industrial electrical installation course majoring in Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, State University of Padang. This type of research is R & D, this research uses a 4D model research procedure, which consists of four stages, namely define, design, develop, and disseminate. The research subjects are D4 Electrical Engineering students, Faculty of Engineering, State University of Padang. The validation test consists of three validators consisting of two material expert validators and one media expert validator. The practicality test was carried out by two lecturers of the industrial electrical installation course and ten students from the D4 Electrical Engineering study program, Faculty of Engineering, the State University of Padang as respondents for the development of learning e-modules. Effectiveness data were obtained from the use of posttest to evaluate student learning outcomes. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be seen that the development of this e-module has succeeded in producing valid, practical, and effective media. The results of the validity test of the three validators were categorized as very valid. The results of the practicality test by the subject lecturers are categorized as very practical, while the results of the practicality tests by students are categorized as very practical. The results of the effectiveness test obtained that classical completeness meets the category so that it can be said to be very effective. Thus, the e-learning module based on technopreneurship as a learning medium is effectively used in the lecture process in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, State University of Padang.

Abstract

This study aims to find out whether or not entrepreneurial behavior and learning achievement in industrial electrical installation courses through the application of project-based learning models loaded with technopreneurship. And to find out there is an increase between entrepreneurial behavior and student learning achievement before applying project-based learning loaded technopreneurship and entrepreneurial behavior and learning achievement after applied project-based learning loaded technopreneurship at Padang State University. This research uses quantitative approaches with research methods. The instrument used is a questionnaire response of student entrepreneurial behavior to project-based learning and student value data to project-based learning. The subjects in this study were D4 students who took industrial electrical installation courses including grades 3 TEIB 1 and 3 TEIB 2 amounting to 30 people. Analysis of instrument data in this study using the help of SPSS 25.0.0 and Microsoft Exel programs. The results of this study show that: (1) Entrepreneurial behavior towards the application of project-based learning loaded technopreneurship that has been applied is emerging and effective to improve entrepreneurial behavior from the results of research that shows in the high category (2) Student learning achievement towards the application of project-based learning loaded with technopreneurship that has been applied is also emerging and effective to improve student entrepreneurial learning achievement from research results that show a high category.

Abstract

Industrial electrical installation practice is a course in the electrical engineering department of Padang State University that must be taken by students. The learning process in the Industrial Electrical Installation course has not fostered the spirit of Technopreneurship because it still prioritizes the achievement of competence in the industry. The existing job sheets are good but have not been able to bring students to the level of entrepreneurship. Where the entrepreneurial spirit is very lacking for students which will later be beneficial for students who want to develop technopreneurship-based jobsheets. For this reason, this study aims to produce a valid, practical, and effective technorpreneurship project-based job sheet model. The research method used is the Research and Development method with a 4D model. The subject of the research is a practicum jobsheet for students majoring in Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, UNP for the academic year 2021. Based on the results of the study, the validity of the jobsheet model based on the technopreneurship project was obtained from 3 validators (material expert validators and media expert validators) in the Valid category. Practical test with respondents of Industrial Electrical Installation Practice Course Lecturers by stating that the industrial electrical installation practice worksheet based on technopreneurship projects is practical. The effectiveness test with student respondents was limited by stating that the industrial electrical installation practice worksheet based on technopreneurship projects was effective. From the research data above, it can be concluded that the industrial electrical installation practice worksheet model is valid, practical, and effectively used for industrial electrical installation practice lectures.
