Abstract

This study is purposed to identify the impact of employee development, training, and employee job satisfaction  towards employee performance in Private Higher Education in Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia.Two-step approach to structural equation modeling was used to test the proposed model. The sample used in this study is 200 respondents. It was taken by applying proportional random sampling.There are several findings from this study: (1) the first hypothesis is accepted, which means that there is a significant and positive influence between employee development towards employee job satisfaction  ; (2) the second hypothesis is accepted indicating that there is a significant and positive influence between training towards organizational commitment; (3) the third hypothesis is accepted which shows that there is a significant and positive influence between employee development towards employee performance; (4) the fourth hypothesis is accepted meaning that there is a significant and positive influence between training  towards employee performance; and (5)the fifth hypothesis is accepted, which means that there is a significant and positive influence between employee job satisfaction towards employee performance. Abstract

For service firms, relationship commitment and relationship outcomes have been essential for successful long-term relationship. This study is purposed to identify the impact of corporate  image,  service quality, students’  trust  towards students’ relational commitment in University of 17 Agustus 1945 Semarang. Two-step approach to structural equation modeling was used to test the proposed model. The sample used in this study is 300 respondents. It was taken by applying proportional random sampling. There are several findings from this study: (1) the first hypothesis is accepted, which means that there is a significant and positive influence between service quality towards students’trust ; (2) the second hypothesis is accepted indicating that there is a significant and positive influence between corporate image towards students’ trust; (3) the third hypothesis is accepted which shows that there is a significant and positive influence between service quality towards  students’ relational commitment ; (4) the fourth hypothesis is accepted meaning that there is a significant and positive influence between corporate  image  towards  students’ relational commitment); and (5) the fifth hypothesis is accepted, which means that there is a significant and positive influence between students’ trust   towards students’ relational commitment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh kompetensi pedagogik dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja guru SMK Bhakti Praja Batang. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui kompetensi pedagogik dan motivasi kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja guru. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua guru SMK Bhakti Praja Batang berjumlah 120 guru dengan tehnik pengambilan sampel menggunakan rumus slovin, dari perhitungan rumus tersebut diperoleh responden yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 92 responden. Berdasarkan penelitian diperoleh hasil penelitian sebagai berikut : Kompetensi pedagogik dan motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru, yang berarti semakin tinggi kompetensi pedagogik dan motivasi kerja guru akan semakin baik kinerja guru.Kata kunci : Kompetensi pedagogik, motivasi kerja, dan kinerja guru

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisa pengaruh kualitas kehidupan kerja, karakteristik pekerjaan, dan kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja Aparatur Sipil Negara(ASN) pada Sekretariat Daerah Kabupaten Jepara, Jawa Tengah.Populasi penelitian ASN sebanyak 126 orang dan diambil sebagai  sampel sejumlah  120 responden. Analisis data menggunakan program SPSS versi 22 dengan pendekatan structural equation modeling (SEM).Hasil penelitian menunjukkan empat hipotesis diterima dan satu hiotesis ditolak: (1) hipotesis pertama diterima, kualitas kehidupan kerja berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja; (2) hipotesis kedua ditolak, karakteristik pekerjaan  tidak berpengaruh  signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja ; (3) hipotesis ketiga diterima, kualitas kehidupan  kerja  berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja; (4)  hipotesis keempat diterima, karakteristik pekerjaan  berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja; dan (5) hipotesis kelima diterima, kepuasan kerja  berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerjaThe purpose of this research is to know and analyze the influence of quality of work life, job characteristics, and job satisfaction on performance of National Civil Apparatus (ASN) at Sekretariat Daerah Regency of Jepara, Central Java. ASN research population as many as 126 people and taken as a sample of 120 respondents. Data analysis using SPSS program version 22 with structural equation modeling (SEM) approach. The results showed four accepted hypothesis and one hiotesis rejected: (1) first hypothesis accepted, quality of work life have a significant positive effect on job satisfaction; (2) the second hypothesis is rejected, job characteristics have no significant effect on job satisfaction; (3) third hypothesis accepted, quality of work life have a significant positive effect on performance; (4) fourth hypothesis accepted, job characteristics have a significant positive effect on performance; and (5) the fifth hypothesis accepted, job satisfaction has a significant positive effect on performance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui  alternatif upaya untuk meningkatkan kinerja pegawai  Kantor Kesyahbandaran dan Otoritas Pelabuhan Kelas IV Tegal melalui kepuasan kerja pegawai. Untuk keperluan tersebut  dilakukan analisis pengaruh kompensasi, motivasi, dan kepuasan kerja , terhadap kinerja pegawai.  Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh pegawai pada Kantor Kesyahbandaran dan Otoritas Pelabuhan Kelas IV Tegal sebanyak 44 pegawai dan sekaligus dijadikan sebagai  sampel penelitian. Teknik penentuan sampel menggunakan sampling jenuh atau sensus. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah Regresi Linier Berganda.Uji hipotesis yang digunakan adalah Uji T dan Uji Mediasi.Hasil penelitian mwnunjukkan bahwa kompensasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan berperhadap kinerja pegawai, kompensasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja pegawai, motivasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, motivasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja pegawai, kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai.Kata kunci : kompensasi, motivasi, kepuasan kerja, kinerja pegawai AbstractThis study aims to find out the alternative efforts to improve the performance of the employees of the Class IV Port Authority and Harbormaster Office through employee job satisfaction. For this purpose an analysis of the effect of compensation, motivation and job satisfaction is carried out on employee performance. The population of this study were all employees of the Tegal Class IV Port Authority and Port Authority and Authority as many as 44 employees and at the same time used as research samples. Sample determination technique uses saturated sampling or census. The analysis technique used is Multiple Linear Regression. The hypothesis test used is the T Test and Mediation Test. The results showed that compensation had a positive and significant effect on employee performance, compensation had a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction, motivation had a positive and significant effect on employee performance, motivation had a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction, job satisfaction had a positive and significant effect on performance employee.Keywords: compensation, motivation, job satisfaction, employee performance

Abstract

This research is aimed to acknowledge whether organizational commitment can play a role as a mediator of the relationship between both Person Organization Fit and Leader Member Exchange and performance. Research samples were 150 employees of 20 (twenty) cigarette company in Kudus, Central Java. Data analysis used SPSS program version 25 with Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) approach. Research findings showed that the proposed five hypotheses were accepted : 1) Person-Organization Fit has a significant effect on organizational commitment, 2) Person-Organization Fit has a significant effect on performance, 3) Leader member exchange has a significant effect on Organizational commitment, 4) Leader Member Exchange has a significant effect on performance, and 5) Organizational commitment has a significant effect on performance. Organizational commitment has a role as a mediating variable and strengthens the relationship between Person-Organizational Fit and Leader Member Exchange with the performance. This research recommends the management of cigarette company in Kudus to implement various organizational efforts in order to improve Person-Organization Fit and Leader Member Exchange to encourage the improvement of the employee’s performance through organizational commitment.

Abstract

This study was an attempt to explore the nexus between career development and employee job performance in UNTAG Semarang, Central Java, Indonesia. The study was necessitated following the need to institute career development programs in organizations for employees to acquire additional knowledge for improved job performance. This study was a survey-type of research that employed a correlational design in an attempt to ascertain the magnitude of the relationship between the studied variables. Structured questionnaires were administered to a sample size of 250 drawn from the population of the study. The Likert 5- point scale was used in quantifying responses while simple regression was employed in determining the degree of the relationship between career development and employee job performance. The result shows a strong relationship between career mentoring and the quality of employee job performance in the organization and concludes that organizations that wish to improve on employee job performance must institute and entrench career mentoring necessary for skill acquisition. The study recommends that organizations should encourage career counseling activities as a leeway to providing a sustainable framework upon which employees acquire the needed operational skills that will enhance their job performance in a typical organization.

Abstract

Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah Organizational Citizenship Behavior memiliki efek mediasi pada hubungan antara Lingkungan kerja Non Fisik dan Kepeminpinan yang melayani dengan Kinerja. Data dikumpulkan dari 120 Pegawai UPTD Puskesmas Blora berasal dari  20 Puskemas     yang berada di Wilayah  Kabupaten Blora, Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Responden dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pemodelan persamaan struktural digunakan untuk menganalisis data yang dikumpulkan. Studi ini mengungkapkan: 1) Lingkungan Kerja Non Fisik  berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja, 2) Kepemimpinan yang melayani  berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kinerja, 3) Organizational Citizenship Behavior mempunyai pengaruh positif dan signifikan  terhadap Kinerja, 4)   Lingkungan Kerja Non Fisik berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap  Organizational Citizenship Behavior, 5)  Kepemimpinan yang melayani mempunyai pengaruh positif dan signifikan  terhadap Organizational Citizenship Behavior, dan 6) Organizational Citizenship Behavior memediasi hubungan   Lingkungan kerja Non Fisik, Kepemimpinan yang melayani  dengan kinerja. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan  kinerja Pegawai UPTD Puskesmas Blora  dapat ditingkatkan dengan Lingkungan kerja non fisik, Kepemimpinan yang melayani melalui efek tidak langsung dari Organizational  Citizenship Behavior.
