Abstract

PT. XYZ is a company that serves fabrication and inspection services. PT. XYZ serves companies in Indonesia, both companies engaged in mining, palm oil processing factories, construction, and shipping. Information technology governance is needed to align the company's business objectives with its technology's performance. This research is encouraged by the absence of an assessment of information technology governance. This research intended to help the company knew the important processes in the company. This research uses the COBIT 2019 framework that is the latest version of COBIT released by ISACA. This company's analysis uses 11 design factors that are supported by a toolkit. The results are information technology governance values and their important processes. The results of this research are information technology governance design of the company and knew the important processes to PT. XYZ. These important processes include APO06 Managed budget and costs, APO09 Managed service agreements, APO12 Managed risk, BAI04 Managed availability and capacity, and BAI11 Managed projects with target capability levels 3 and 4.

Abstract

The Disdikbud of Balikpapan City has compiled 32 SOPs in 2017 and does not yet have documentation of ongoing business processes. The SOPs that have been prepared are still not fully in accordance with Permenpan RB Number 35 of 2012 and do not cover the entire process flow based on the main tasks and functions. This article presents a business process model using the principles of Business Process Modeling and Notation (BPMN) with the help of Bizagi Modeller software. Business Process Management (BPM) approach is used in modeling business processes to help improve business efficiency and effectiveness. From the results of the work, there are 69 business processes that have been modeled, divided into 55 processes in the Education Quality Improvement process and 14 processes in the Comfort, Security and Environmental Order Improvement process.Keywords: Education and Culture Office, Business Process, Standard Operating Procedure, Business Process Modeling and Notation, Business Process Management ABSTRAK. Disdikbud Kota Balikpapan telah menyusun 32 SOP pada tahun 2017 dan belum memiliki dokumentasi proses bisnis yang berjalan. SOP yang telah disusun masih belum sepenuhnya sesuai dengan Permenpan RB Nomor 35 Tahun 2012 dan belum mencakup keseluruhan alur proses berdasarkan tugas pokok dan fungsi. Artikel ini menyajikan model proses bisnis dengan menggunakan kaidah Business Process Modeling and Notation (BPMN) dengan bantuan software Bizagi Modeller. Digunakan pendekatan Business Process Management (BPM) dalam memodelkan proses bisnis untuk membantu meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas bisnis. Dari hasil pengerjaan didapatkan proses bisnis yang telah dimodelkan sebanyak 69 proses bisnis, terbagi atas 55 proses pada proses Peningkatan Kualitas Pendidikan dan 14 proses pada proses Peningkatan Kenyamanan, Keamanan Dan Ketertiban Lingkungan.Kata kunci: Dinas Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan, Proses Bisnis, Standar Operating Prosedure, Business Process Modeling and Notation, Business Process Management

Abstract

PT JWT Global Logistics Indonesia is company in logistic field (cargo services, freight forwarding, export and import). Utilization of information technology in this company has not fully played a role in achieving company goals. Therefore, the design of information technology governance using COBIT 2019 framework to overcome these problems. This research starts from literature study and reach out the problem at PT JWT Global Logistics Indonesia. The next step is using COBIT 2019 framework that is understand the enterprise context and strategy, determine the initial scope of the governance system, refine the scope of the governance system, and conclude the governance system design which results in governance design in the form of value for 40 core models. COBIT 2019 measures each core model with design factor toolkit. Each design factor contains a statement that is tailored to the enterprise’s condition. Core model which has target of capability level of 4 is APO03 Managed Enterprise Architecture, APO12 Managed Risk, BAI06 Managed IT Changes and DSS01 Managed Operations.

Abstract

PT XYZ Balikpapan menyediakan berbagai layanan, yaitu layanan  pengujian dan analisis, penilaian dan audit, pelatihan dan sertifikasi di berbagai bidang. Terkait pemanfaatan teknologi informasi yang tidak berjalan dengan baik, berdampak pada optimalisasi pelaksanaan tujuan bisnis dan berdampak pada ancaman terkait teknologi informasi. Akibatnya, manajemen menggunakan kerangka kerja COBIT 2019 untuk membantu bisnis mencapai tujuan yang diinginkan. Langkah-langkah merancang manajer teknologi informasi berdasarkan kerangka COBIT 2019 dengan wawancara untuk mempelajari lebih lanjut tentang perusahaan dan strateginya. Selanjutnya, tentukan ruang lingkup awal sistem administrasi. Meningkatkan cakupan administrasi sistem, menyempurnakan desain tata kelola, mengevaluasi kapabilitas proses, menyiapkan proposal perbaikan, dan mengembangkan temuan rekomendasi perbaikan. Nilai pada tingkat kapabilitas dilakukan yang memiliki nilai lebih besar dari sama dengan 75, tingkat target kapabilitas pada level 4. Ditemukan proses yang sangat penting pada PT XYZ Balikpapan memiliki tingkat kapabilitas di level 1 APO09 Managed Service Agreements, APO12 Managed Risk, APO13 Managed Security, dan DSS02 Managed Service Requests & Incidents. Semua proses yang mengevaluasi tingkat keterampilan gagal mencapai tingkat kapabilitas. Oleh karena itu, semua kegiatan selama proses dilakukan dan menghasilkan rekomendasi untuk perbaikan. Pertama yaiyu core model APO09 pada dokumen analisis kebutuhan kapasitas mendatang, service level agreement dan service catalog supaya mendapatkan meningkatkan output kinerja perusahaan dalam melayani pelanggan pada PT XYZ Balikpapan. Kata kunci: COBIT 2019, PT XYZ Balikpapan, tata kelola teknologi informasi

Abstract

Utilization of information systems or technology in an organization is needed to improve organizational efficiency. This relates to the rapid development of information systems or technology that affect the ongoing business processes. The effectiveness is in the form of aligning business strategy with information system strategy and business transformation. However, the dilemma faced especially in Government agencies such as the Balikpapan City Department of Transportation is how to align business strategies and information systems strategies that will be used so as to achieve organizational goals. Responding to the problem, it is necessary to align between the business needs of the organization and the needs of the application to support the vision and mission to be achieved by the Balikpapan City Department of Transportation. This can be achieved by using the framework of The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) which provides a detailed method of how to build, manage and implement an enterprise architecture known as the Architecture Development Method (ADM), hereafter referred to as TOGAF ADM. This research produces a mapping of business needs and application needs to support the vision and mission to be achieved through the information systems or technology architecture design including business architecture modeling, information system architecture, and technology architecture on the Balikpapan City Department of Transportation.

Abstract

Accreditation is an assessment activity based on predetermined standards and requirements to guarantee the quality and performance of education for every university in Indonesia. The Study Program Accreditation Instrument version 4.0 is needed to compile performance into reports. The nstrument is the Study Program Performance Report. Institut Teknologi Kalimantan (ITK), as one of the institutions, ITK preparing the Study Program Performance Report with manual method so that during the preparation of the report, there was duplication of accreditation data. Because thedata is made from more than one source, collecting accreditation data is still using email. This causes data not stored, and it is not easy to find historical data every year. Therefore, this research was conducted to develop an accreditation management information system, especially Study Program Performance Report, so that accreditation data can be archived and managed by each Study Program at ITK. This system also makes it easier for the Pusat Jaminan Mutu to monitor the performance. The software development method used in this research is the Agile methodology with ScrumMethod. The development uses the Laravel framework, which has implemented a Model, View, Controller architecture. This research resulted in an information system accreditation for the Study Program Performance Report.

Abstract

TRAINING IN INCREASING PRODUCTIVITY OF HOME INDUSTRY BUSINESS OWNERS THROUGH INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY IN THE CITY OF BALIKPAPAN. Information and Communication Technology (ICT) could be effective tools for females to scale their small and medium enterprises. However, their role in ICT development is considerably minor. Men are still holding important role in ICT. On the other hand, women are dominated minor parts, such as administration, data entry, and komputer operation. In another word, ICT is measurably far out for women. Therefore, in order to scale home industries which are run by females, skill enhancements are needed in operating ICT for improving economist productivity. Indonesian Association of Higher Education in Informatics and Computing (APTIKOM) and Ministry of Female Empowerment and Child Protection (KPPPA) collaborate to organize ICT training for home industries by trained APTIKOM members. Kalimantan Institute of Technology (ITK) has chosen to prosvide training at Komputer Laboratory, ITK Campus. This program was held in order to give insight and knowledge on managing home industry with optimum effort by utilizing ICT.

Abstract

Pondok Modern Asy-Syifa Balikpapan is one of the organizations engaged in education based on Islamic boarding education that is independent, private and legally incorporated. Apart from its private status, it does not make the achievement and application of student discipline lagging behind other educational institutions. The problems that occur are the processing of achievement data, violations and permits which are still done manually and do not use automatic data storage (databases), as well as the need for monitoring of achievements, violations and permits carried out by students to determine the level of student activity. Sistem Informasi Monitoring Santri (SIMS) is an application developed as a solution to these problems. SIMS was developed using the agile software development method with the scrum model which has stages in the form of sprint planning, daily scrum, sprint review and sprint retrospective. Laravel framework is used for system development by applying the concept of model, view and controller (MVC). There are 36 product backlogs carried out in 6 sprints with the main features to manage student data, achievements, violations, permits, and monitor students. It is hoped that the SIMS can assist in recording and monitoring student achievements, violations and licensing at Pondok Modern Asy-Syifa Balikpapan.

Abstract

Kelurahan Sepinggan merupakan perangkat daerah yang paling dekat dan berhubungan langsung dengan masyarakat untuk memberikan pelayanan publik. Namun, pada Kelurahan Sepinggan proses pelayanan dijalankan secara langsung berdasarkan pengalaman, sehingga dapat terjadi kekeliruan. Alur proses juga memakan waktu lebih lama dari ketentuan yang ditetapkan akibat para pegawai menjalankannya dengan tidak ada yang menjadi acuan pedoman. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memodelkan proses bisnis dan menyusun SOP AP pada Kelurahan Sepinggan menggunakan BPMN dan flowchart dengan beberapa tahapan mulai dari tahap identifikasi masalah, persiapan dan perencanaan proses bisnis, verifikasi proses bisnis, pengembangan proses bisnis, penilaian kebutuhan dan pengembangan SOP AP, verifikasi SOP AP oleh process owner, serta pengesahan oleh Lurah. Penelitian menghasilkan sebanyak 34 proses bisnis baru, terdiri dari peta proses bisnis level 0, 1 dan 2 yang kemudian diverifikasi sebanyak dua kali untuk perbaikan alur prosesnya. Karena alur proses telah tergambar jelas sesuai model proses bisnis dan hanya perlu menambahkan beberapa informasi, sehingga terdapat 34 SOP AP dengan verifikasi sebanyak satu kali. Proses bisnis dan SOP AP yang telah dibuat dapat menjadi pedoman bagi Kelurahan Sepinggan dalam melakukan aktivitas sehingga pekerjaan bisa berjalan dengan efektif dan efisien. Monitoring dan evaluasi untuk pemodelan ulang proses bisnis dan SOP AP minimal dilakukan setahun sekali dengan mengevaluasi terhadap dokumentasi proses bisnis dan SOP AP Kelurahan Sepinggan, evaluasi berdasarkan renstra baru, perubahan struktur organisasi maupun pembaharuan regulasi.

Abstract

Toko Rizquna telah dirintis sejak tahun 2013. Produk yang dihasilkan saat ini adalah keripik singkong original dengan jumlah penjualan yang rendah yaitu 50 bungkus/bulan. Beberapa permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh mitra yaitu belum ada varian keripik singkong yang diproduksi, ketahanan daya simpan keripik singkong singkat, dan kemasan yang kurang menarik. Keripik singkong yang dipasarkan, saat ini hanya rasa original tanpa ada kreasi rasa. Kemasan keripik singkong belum memperhitungkan segi keamanan dan daya tahan produk. Kemasan produk juga masih menggunakan plastik bening biasa yang kurang menarik bagi konsumen. Solusi yang diberikan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan mitra adalah (1)pelatihan meningkatkan varian rasa keripik singkong dengan rasa balado extra pedas, gula aren, dan sapi panggang; (2) pelatihan  menggunakan kemasan aluminium kedap untuk meningkatkan daya tahan produk; dan (3) mendesain kemasan keripik singkong yang aman dan murah sehingga dapat menjamin keamanan produk ketika proses pengiriman. Toko Rizquna mendapatkan peningkatan penjualan 8-10% setiap bulannya (periode Sep-Okt 2021) dan pelanggan merasa puas dengan adanya variasi rasa juga ketahanan kerenyahan dari keripik singkong. Hasil PKM ini mampu meningkatan daya saing usaha dan adanya transfer teknologi kepada mitra.
