Abstract

As one of the coastal ecosystem, mangrove forest is a unique and fragile ecosystem. This ecosystem has the function of ecological and economical. Mangrove forest ecological functions include: protective shoreline, prevent the intrusion of sea water, habitat, feeding ground, where the care and nursery grounds, where spawning ground for a variety of aquatic biota, and as a regulator of the micro climate. Mangrove forests which naturally grow well along the northern coast of Java is almost does not exist. Natural forest on a small scale can only be found in the conservation area.Subdistrict Tugurejo has degraded mangrove areas either by aquaculture, as well as coastal erosion. Extensive mangroves in the coastal area around the Tugurejo District of 42.20 hectares (Department of Marine Semarang, 2010). Regional Regulation of Semarang No. 7 of 2010 on Spatial Planning Green Open mention that the vast green space mangrove forested coastal areas Tugu subdistrict of 225 hectares.

Abstract

Mangrove forest in Mojo Village, Ulujami District, Pemalang Regency has an area used for nature tourism in coastal areas which provide protection the macro climate balance in Pemalang. The Regulation No.3/2011 about Pemalang Spatial Planning Year 2011-2031 have been discussing the mangrove forest development. Management of Mangrove forest in Mojo villages empowering by the local communities through farmer groups in cooperation with Local Governments and Institutions that called OISCA (The Organization for Industrial, Spiritual and Cultural Advancement-International). The research problem is want to know the forms of community involvement in the management of mangrove forests in Mojo Village.This research was conducted with the aim of measuring the level of community participation in the management of mangrove forest in the Mojo village, District Ulujami, Pemalang City through 3 Arnsteins’ variables of participation with 8 indicators ranging from levels manipulation to citizen power. The methodology used is mixed methods (quantitative and qualitative) with descriptive methods through rationalistic approach and logical deductive thinking.The result is level of community participation in the management of Mojo villages’ mangrove forest located on the 6th floor of participation stair, it is partnership with the lowest level and still under the influence of the 5th participation “Placation”. Mojo’s community activities still relies on Government dan OISCA funding. There are no improvement of initiative and willingness to develop activities independently.Keywords: Participation, Management, Forest, Mangrove

Abstract

Fish Auction Place is an economic space that has great influence for fishermen in marketing their catch so that fishermen can sell their catch as short as possible with good price and can create healthy market through pure auction. Based on Local Regulation of Kendal Regency Number 10 of 2010 concerning management and retribution of fish auction place in Kendal Regency, mention that to guarantee the balance of management of fish auction place in order to improve prosperity and standard of living of fisherman /coastal communities in Kendal District. However, in TPI Tawang area there is a problem that is middleman activity. The activity is very influential on the economic space TPI Tawang. Based on the above problems, the researcher wants to know the influence of behavior middleman to economic space TPI Tawang Gempolsewu Village. To achieve these objectives, several analyzes were conducted, among others, activities of middleman, economic space in TPI Tawang area and analysis of influence of middleman activity on economic space of TPI Tawang community of Gempolsewu Village. In this research using qualitative descriptive approach rationalistic with middleman activity variable and economic space in TPI Tawang area. Stages done in doing this writing is through several stages, among others, preparation, primary or secondary data collection, processing and presentation of data, data analysis, and stage preparation of reports. The conclusion of this research is middleman activity which is in TPI area of Tawang precisely at TPI Tawang dock influence activity in economy room that exist in area of TPI Tawang. The influence of middleman activity in Tawang TPI area can be seen from the activity system which can cause the decrease of activity and the decrease of economic space activity in Tawang TPI area. Abstract

ABSTRACTThe use of private vehicles by Indonesian citizens more than public transportation can cause urban problems. The implementation of the Transit-Oriented Development concept which has begun to be adopted by several urban areas in Indonesia and become a method to overcome urban transportation problems and can realize a sustainable transportation system. The Transit-Oriented Development concept can be realized by applying the principles of Transit-Oriented Development in accordance with applicable minimum standards. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to find out how the TOD principles can be applied in Indonesia in accordance with the minimum standards of TOD in order to realize sustainable transportation. The research used is descriptive qualitative method with a literature review approach. The case studies used are the Dukuh Atas TOD area of DKI Jakarta, the Plaza Indonesia Jakarta area, the Pal Enam Terminal of Banjarmasin City, and the Jaticempaka LRT Station of Bekasi City. Based on the results, the implementation of TOD principles in Indonesia has not been implemented optimally. Only the Plaza Indonesia area has met the minimum TOD standard category that is bronze standard. From the four case studies, only 2 of the 8 TOD principles have parameters that meet the minimum TOD standards, there are transit (public transportation) and compact (close). The application of the cycle principle (cycling) requires more attention because not all of the parameters can be implemented. Keywords : Transit-Oriented Development, TOD Principles, TOD Standards ABSTRAKPenggunaan kendaraan pribadi masyarakat Indonesia yang lebih banyak dibandingkan transportasi umum dapat menimbulkan permasalahan perkotaan. Penerapan konsep kawasan Transit-Oriented Development yang mulai diadopsi beberapa wilayah perkotaan di Indonesia menjadi salah satu metode untuk mengatasi permasalahan transportasi perkotaan dan dapat mewujudkan sistem transportasi yang berkelanjutan. Konsep kawasan berorientasi transit dapat diwujudkan dengan menerapkan prinsip-prinsip Transit-Oriented Development sesuai dengan standar minimal yang berlaku. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan prinsip-prinsip TOD di Indonesia sesuai dengan standar minimal TOD dalam rangka mewujudkan transportasi yang berkelanjutan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan literature review. Studi kasus yang digunakan yaitu Kawasan TOD Dukuh Atas DKI Jakarta, Kawasan Plaza Indonesia Jakarta, Terminal Pal Enam Kota Banjarmasin, dan Stasiun LRT Jaticempaka Kota Bekasi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis penerapan prinsip-prinsip TOD di Indonesia belum diimplementasikan secara maksimal. Hanya Kawasan Plaza Indonesia yang telah memenuhi kategori standar TOD minimal yaitu bronze standard. Dari keempat studi kasus hanya 2 dari 8 prinsip TOD yang parameternya telah memenuhi standar minimal TOD yaitu transit (angkutan umum) dan compact (merapatkan). Penerapan prinsip cycle (bersepeda) paling membutuhkan perhatian lebih karena parameternya belum semua dapat terimplementasi.Kata kunci : Kawasan Berorientasi Transit, Prinsip TOD, Standar TOD

Abstract

ABSTRACTOne of the ways to improve the urban economy is the presence of street vendors (PKL). The existence of street vendors (PKL) also raises several problems such as disruption of the beauty of the city, cleanliness, security, city chaos, security, and traffic jams. This underlies the need for an arrangement and empowerment of the existence of street vendors (PKL). The purpose of this research is to organize and empower the Informal Sector, especially street vendors (PKL). The research method used is descriptive qualitative and literature review technique approach from several case studies. The selected case studies were in Tulungagung Regency Square, Tanah Abang Market, and Tuah Serumpun Kilometer 4 Market. Based on the results of the study in several study areas, there were differences in the management and empowerment of street vendors (PKL). The arrangement of street vendors (PKL) is carried out by relocating and controlling. Empowerment is carried out through socialization, promotion and information, formation of associations, assistance in the form of providing capital and fulfilling infrastructure facilities, and cooperation with investors.Keywords: street vendors, structuring, empowerment ABSTRAKPeningkatan perekonomian perkotaan salah satunya didukung dengan adanya pedagang kaki lima (PKL). Keberadaan pedagang kaki lima (PKL) juga menimbulkan beberapa permasalahan seperti terganggunya keindahan kota, kebersihan, keamanan, kesemrawutan kota, keamanan, dan kemacetan lalu lintas. Hal ini yang mendasari perlunya sebuah penataan dan pemberdayaan akan keberadaan Pedagang Kaki Lima (PKL). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah melakukan penataan dan pemberdayaan Sektor Informal khususnya Pedagang Kaki Lima (PKL). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dan pendekatan teknik literature review dari beberapa studi kasus. Studi kasus yang dipilih berada di Alun-alun Kabupaten Tulungagung, Pasar Tanah Abang, dan Pasar Tuah Serumpun Kilometer 4. Berdasarkan hasil kajian di beberapa wilayah studi terdapat perbedaan penanganan dalam penataan dan pemberdayaan Pedagang Kaki Lima (PKL). Penataan Pedagang Kaki Lima (PKL) dilakukan dengan melakukan relokasi serta penertiban. Untuk pemberdayaan dilakukan dengan sosialisasi, promosi dan informasi, pembentukan paguyuban, bantuan berupa pemberian modal dan pemenuhan sarana prasarana, serta kerja sama dengan investor.Kata Kunci : Pedagang Kaki Lima, Penataan, Pemberdayaan

Abstract

ABSTRACT Increased use of private transportation and/or less environmentally friendly energy use contributes  to the high value of carbon emissions. To overcome this, a change of development and  development is needed, one of which is the application of the concept of green transportation. The  concept is one part of the green city program in Indonesia. Therefore, this study aims to find out the  application of green transportation to realize the concept of green and sustainable cities. This study  uses a literature study approach in reviewing the application of green transportation. The case  studies used are located in Surakarta City, Bogor City, and Semarang City. The results of this study  can be concluded that the concept of green transportation can be applied to overcome transportation  problems. The concept of green transportation is based on the concept of sustainable development  and pays attention to transportation modes, accessibility, and green transportation policies. Keywords: Green Transportation, Transportation, Green City ABSTRAK Peningkatan penggunaan transportasi pribadi dan/atau penggunaan energi yang kurang  ramah lingkungan memiliki kontribusi terhadap tingginya nilai emisi karbon. Untuk mengatasi hal  tersebut, diperlukan suatu perubahan pembangunan dan pengembangan, salah satunya yaitu  penerapan konsep green transportation. Konsep tersebut termasuk dalam salah satu bagian dari  program kota hijau atau green city di Indonesia. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk  mengetahui penerapan green transportation untuk mewujudkan konsep kota hijau dan  berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi literatur dalam mengkaji penerapan  green transportation. Studi kasus yang dipakai yaitu berlokasi di Kota Surakarta, Kota Bogor, dan  Kota Semarang. Hasil dari kajian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa konsep green transportation dapat  diterapkan untuk mengatasi permasalahan transportasi. Konsep green transportation tersebut  berpedoman pada konsep pembangunan berkelanjutan dan memperhatikan moda transportasi,  aksesibilitas, dan kebijakan transportasi hijau.Kata Kunci: Green Transportation, Transportasi, Kota Hijau

Abstract

Desa Gondang merupakan salah satu desa wisata di Kabupaten Kendal. Desa ini terletak  Cekungan Air Tanah Kendal Uangaran yang berfungsi sebagai Kawasan Resapan Air. Desa Gondang memiliki potensi pemandangan alam, hasil bumi, sumber daya air (146 mata air), dan tradisi lokal unik. Potensi tersebut dalam pemanfaatannya harus diberikan arahan pengaturan agar tetap lestari. Materplan desa wisata hijau merupakan sebuah upaya menarahkan investasi jangka Panjang agar lingkungan tetap lestari. Tujuan penelitian ini ini adalah untuk menjabarkan proses penyusunan mastaerplan desa wisata hijau di Desa Gondang, berdasarkan kearifan local. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan Deskriptif kualitastif, dengan tahapan pengumpulan data dan informasi, analisis dan penyusunan konsep desain. Proses pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara mendalam, diskusi terfokus, serta pengamatan langsung. Analisis data dilakukan dengan memverikasikan parameter desa wisata hijaudengan fakta empiris, dan kemudian diabstraksikan untuk menyusun konsep masterplan desa wisat hijau. Produk akhir penelitian ini berupa arahan pengaturan program pengembangan.

Abstract

Pelaksanaan pembangunan ekonomi wilayah yang tidak disesuaikan terhadap potensi dari masing-masing wilayah mengakibatkan sumber daya yang dimiliki dimanfaatkan secara kurang optimal sehingga mengakibatkan lambatnya proses pertumbuhan ekonomi wilayahnya. Oleh karena itu, perlu untuk mengidentifikasi potensi ekonomi di masing-masing wilayah agar penyusunan perencanaan pembangunan wilayah menjadi lebih terarah dan juga menjadi dasar dalam pengambilan kebijakan yang mana prioritas pembangunan ekonomi difokuskan pada pengoptimalan sektor ekonomi potensial sehingga dapat mendorong percepatan pertumbuhan ekonomi. Tujuan penulisan artikel kajian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis sektor ekonomi potensial yang digunakan sebagai arahan pembangunan ekonomi wilayah dengan pengambilan studi kasus yaitu Kota Semarang, Kota Surabaya, dan Kota Bandung. Metode penulisan artikel ini yaitu deskriptif melalui pendekatan literatur studi. Berdasarkan hasil kajian, sektor ekonomi potensial di Kota Surabaya yaitu sektor jasa perusahaan. Sedangkan sektor ekonomi paling potensial di Kota Semarang dan Kota Bandung yaitu sektor informasi dan komunikasi.

Abstract

Gondang Village is a tourist village in the upper part of Kendal district with high morphological characteristics (tends to be hilly). Gondang village is currently developing as a tourist village, only tourism that is developing leads to mass tourism which is oriented towards bringing in large numbers of tourists. This condition is certainly very contrary to efforts to develop tourist villages which place more emphasis on conservation aspects. The consequence is an increase in disaster risk, both in the form of increased run off during the rainy season (increased flood discharge) and drought during the dry season in shaded areas, as well as increased ground movement. This community service aims to find solutions so that tourism village development efforts can still run, but can reduce disaster risk by disaster mitigation. The disaster mitigation in question is by regulating land use based on multiple disasters and improving the structural design of tourism supporting facilities and infrastructure.

Abstract

Embung Kledung is a tourist attraction that utilizes the natural potential of Mount Sumbing and Mount Sindoro so that it is able to offer very beautiful natural scenery accompanied by cool weather. Embung Kledung is located in Kledung Village, Kledung District, Temanggung Regency. Currently the Embung Kledung tourist attraction is managed by the village youth group "Remaja Embung". However, there is still a lot of potential that has not been optimally developed so that more efficient, precise and sustainable development directions are needed. The limited capacity of human resources is a challenge in its development, so assistance is needed in formulating plans for the development of this tourist attraction. The method used is community assistance with a participatory approach. The stages of the activities carried out are licensing, discussion, field observations, preparation of planning documents, and delivery of planning results. The result of this assistance is the compilation of a master plan for the Embung Kledung tourist attraction with the concept of Ecotourism through the assistance of managers to increase capacity and understanding of the process.
