Abstract

Health is a vital component of human capital, influencing long-term economic productivity and social well-being. In developing regions such as Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB), Indonesia - where poverty, limited education, and underdeveloped health infrastructure persist - understanding the socioeconomic drivers of health is crucial for inclusive development. This study examines the impact of socioeconomic and demographic factors on indivual health status using data from the 2019 National Socioeconomic Survey (SUSENAS) and a logistic regression approach. The results show that individuals with higher education, stable employment, greater household expenditure, and health insurance coverage are significantly more likely to have good health. Conversely, older individuals and women are less likely to do so. The study finds that income, residential location, education, age, marital status, and gender significantly affect health outcomes in NTB, while employment status does not. Higher income and urban residence improve health, but unexpectedly, higher education is linked to poorer short-term health, likely due to reporting bias, stress, or lifestyle factors. These results support human capital theory while revealing context-specific dynamics, underscoring the need for targeted poverty reduction, rural healthcare expansion, gender-sensitive interventions, and comprehensive health promotion across all education levels. Abstract Kesehatan merupakan komponen penting dari modal manusia, yang memengaruhi produktivitas ekonomi jangka panjang dan kesejahteraan sosial. Di wilayah berkembang seperti Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB), Indonesia - di mana kemiskinan, pendidikan yang terbatas, dan infrastruktur kesehatan yang belum berkembang masih menjadi masalah - memahami faktor-faktor sosioekonomi yang memengaruhi kesehatan sangat penting untuk pembangunan inklusif. Studi ini menganalisis dampak faktor-faktor sosioekonomi dan demografis terhadap kesehatan yang dilaporkan sendiri menggunakan data dari Survei Sosioekonomi Nasional (SUSENAS) 2019 dan pendekatan regresi logistik. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa individu dengan pendidikan lebih tinggi, pekerjaan stabil, pengeluaran rumah tangga lebih besar, dan memiliki jaminan Kesehatan cenderung lebih sehat. Sebaliknya, individu yang lebih tua dan perempuan cenderung kurang sehat. Studi ini menemukan bahwa pendapatan, lokasi tempat tinggal, pendidikan, usia, status perkawinan, dan jenis kelamin secara signifikan mempengaruhi kesehatan di NTB, sementara status pekerjaan tidak. Pendapatan yang lebih tinggi dan tempat tinggal di perkotaan meningkatkan kesehatan, tetapi secara tak terduga, pendidikan yang lebih tinggi terkait dengan kesehatan yang lebih buruk, kemungkinan disebabkan oleh bias pelaporan, stres, atau faktor gaya hidup. Hasil ini mendukung teori modal manusia sambil mengungkap dinamika spesifik konteks, menyoroti kebutuhan akan pengurangan kemiskinan yang ditargetkan, perluasan layanan kesehatan di pedesaan, intervensi yang sensitif terhadap gender, dan promosi kesehatan komprehensif di semua tingkat pendidikan.

Abstract

The transformation of Indonesia's healthcare system is being accelerated through the National Health Insurance (JKN) Program, with coverage reaching 98.45% by 2024. The shift in payment mechanisms from fee-for-service (FFS) to Indonesian Case-Based Groups (INA-CBGs) package rates poses challenges for regional public hospitals (RSUD) with BLUD status, particularly in the fair and performance-based distribution of services. This study aims to evaluate the service distribution formula in effect at Sijunjung Regional Hospital and formulate a system based on the proportion conversion method, which converts INA-CBG claims into unit rates per service type by considering unit contributions, individual roles, and performance. The study used secondary data from January 2025 with total sampling, including data on revenue, service distribution, service decrees, performance assessments, and service formularies. The analysis shows that the existing formula has weaknesses, including an imbalance of medical and paramedical services of up to 13%, a disproportionate distribution of supporting services, a division of nurses that does not reflect workload, a uniform room index despite different patient numbers, and weak distribution rules at the room level. The study recommends a proportion-conversion formula based on the principles of no work, no pay; propriety; equality; and proportionality to increase human resource motivation, support the performance of regional general hospitals, and maintain service quality in the JKN era.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang strategi pengembangan kompetensi guru SD di Yayasan Wakaf Izzatul Ummah Bukittinggi agar selaras dengan kebutuhan lembaga. Program pengembangan guru yang telah berjalan masih bersifat umum, belum ditopang oleh pemetaan kebutuhan kompetensi secara individual, dan belum dilengkapi sistem evaluasi kinerja yang tertata dengan baik. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan pimpinan yayasan, kepala sekolah, guru, pengawas sekolah, serta perwakilan orang tua siswa, disertai observasi dan penelusuran dokumen. Analisis dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan, dengan triangulasi sumber untuk memastikan keabsahan. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa yayasan telah melakukan berbagai upaya seperti pelatihan rutin, pembinaan berbasis nilai Islam, pendampingan oleh pimpinan, dan pemberian beasiswa pendidikan lanjutan. Strategi pengembangan yang diusulkan mencakup penyusunan peta kompetensi guru (competency mapping), penerapan evaluasi kinerja berbasis indikator yang jelas, pemerataan kesempatan pelatihan, penetapan anggaran khusus untuk pengembangan SDM, pembudayaan self development, serta optimalisasi teknologi digital sebagai sarana pembelajaran dan pengelolaan SDM. Strategi ini diharapkan mampu memperkuat kualitas guru secara menyeluruh.Kata kunci: strategi pengembangan kompetensi, guru, sekolah dasar, sekolah Islam terpadu, Yayasan Wakaf Izzatul Ummah

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami dan menganalisis pelaksanaan program Bapak Asuh Anak Stunting di Kota Payakumbuh, Sumatera Barat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Informan terdiri dari Kepala Perangkat Daerah yang secara teknis terkait dengan penanganan stunting dan merangkapsebagai Bapak Asuh Anak Stunting di Kota Payakumbuh beserta orang tua dari anak stunting yang menjadi sasaran Bapak Asuh Anak Stunting yang terdapat di wilayah binaan 8 (delapan) puskesmas. Pemilihan informan dilakukan menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik analisa data Milles and Hubermen mulai dari pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini adalah menunjukkan bahwa program Bapak Asuh Anak Stunting yang dilaksanakan di Kota Payakumbuh pada tahun 2023, dilihat dari 5 variabel atau aspek yaitu pemahaman program, ketepatan sasaran, ketepatan waktu, tercapainya tujuan dan perubahan nyata secara umum dikatakan sebagai program yang efektif. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah, program bapak asuh anak stunting sudah terlaksana dengan baik dan efektif serta dapat mengurangi jumlah kasus stunting di Kota Payakumbuh.

Abstract

Tourism will develop if the views of local communities are taken into account in the tourism development process itself. Therefore, understanding tourism development from the perspective of local communities will deepen understanding of the long-term success of tourist destinations. This research aims to understand community support for tourism development based on social exchange theory and Bottom Up Spillover using primary data obtained through distributing questionnaires to communities around tourist attractions. The number of respondents was 200 people. The analytical tool used is SEM PLS. The research results found theoretical and empirical evidence about the relationship between variables. Based on the structural equation model, it shows that the benefits felt by residents from tourism development have a positive effect on satisfaction with material and non-material life domains, thus this will contribute to the overall quality of life. Then overall quality of life is an effective predictor to support tourism development.

Abstract

This study examines the role of work motivation as a moderator of the effects of competence, workload, and organizational support on the performance of Intelligence and Security personnel (Intelkam) at the Lima Puluh Kota Police Resort. Employing a quantitative explanatory survey design, the study surveyed the entire Intelkam personnel population using Likert-scale questionnaires. Data were analyzed through Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling with SmartPLS. Findings indicate that competence, workload, organizational support, and work motivation did not have statistically significant effects on personnel performance in the tested model. Moreover, work motivation did not significantly moderate the relationships between competence, workload, or organizational support and performance. These results suggest that other factors—such as leadership, organizational culture, facilities, and field task dynamics—may better explain performance variation in the Intelkam context. Recommendations include adding additional predictors and employing qualitative methods to better understand operational dynamics; practical implications urge institutional review of training programs, workload management, and enhancement of tangible organizational support to improve performance.
