Abstract

Eucheuma cottonii seaweed contains carrageenan, which is used as an ingredient for the food and beverage industry. This must be processed first by an alkaline process and then dried to become chips known as alkaline treated cotton chips (ATC) products. The process of drying seaweed was done using an oven dryer using heat energy that can be adjusted to the drying time, temperature and number of products so that the quality of the dried products of seaweed products that have been processed into Alkaline Treated Cotton Seaweed (ATS) to be used as an advanced product becomes ATC (Alkali Treated Cotton Chips). The results of this study aim to find out the optimal value of temperature, drying time and the amount of ATS to get output from ATC in accordance with SNI 8170: 2015 standard and received by the customer. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the minimum significant drying process for moisture content was 12.10% at level 2, 1 kg weight, level 2 temperature 70 oC with level 3 drying time 400 minutes. Whereas the maximum gel strength is 910 gram / cm2 at level 1, weight 0.5 kg, level 2 temperature 70 oC with level 2 drying time 320 minutes.

Abstract

Legal problems related to confiscation process of state properties should become a com- mon concern, especially in the era of administrative court. Execution of administrative court decisions is commonly accompanied by an order to pay damages or compensation. Regarding public bodies, such as Central and Regional Governments, together with their staffs, provision of damages and compensation is allocated in the National and Regional Budgets. Therefore, its implementation is relatively easier, and its problem relates only with administrative matters, different from other public bodies, such as state owned com- panies that are also included in executive tasks. This article recommends that a more detail regulation be important in order to implement administrative court decisions easier. Keywords: confiscation, public bodies, administrative court, decision.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Infrastructure development has a very vital role in the fulfillment of people's basic rights. It has very strong linkages with social welfare and environmental quality, also on the economic growth process of a region. The suramadu bridge project development has a very strategic role in the island ofmadura, which will boost economic activity, distribution of goods and services as well as tourism activities. Madura island which became part of the province of east java has a less favorable conditions before. The matter was slow economic growth and lags income per capita.This research aimed to describe and to analyze the economically impact of Suramadu bridge project develompent to madura island with a case study in Bangkalan. This research used a qualitative research with desciptive approach. This study’s main focus is to analyze the impact of Suramadu bridge project development to the economy development of Bangkalan region and how the developmental policy impacted suramadu`s developmental area.The bridge`s project development has a multiplier effect to people in Madura for saving their times and cash on bussiness travel to Java. On the other hand, it caused population growth in suramadu area, it shows by an increasing number of people, so the demand for residential home was also increase. In addition, to fit the increased demand for residential houses is to develop the shopping centers and other supporting infrastructures. Suramadu development policy is an attempt to improve the infrasctructures to meet the complex needs. Generally it has whether positive or negative impacts. The government`s intervention on this project development was to establish an agency of Suramadu area development(BPWS).

Abstract

Konsep green manufacturing merupakan proses inovatif karena akan memberikan mnafaat yang sangat positif pada minimalisasi limbah dan pencegahan polusi. Green manufacturing tidak hanya melibatkan penggunaan desain produk, penggunaan bahan baku ramah lingkungan, tetapi juga kemasan yang ramah lingkungan, atau penggunaan kembali suatu produk. Penerapan green manufacturing dalam produksi kemasan plastik minuman ringan seharusnya melalui beberapa tahap, yaitu proses pewarnaan, persiapan pembersihan, perbaikan ramah lingkungan, dan kondisi ramah lingkungan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendapatkan strategi perbaikan green manufacturing pada pewarnaan, persiapan pembersihan, perbaikan ramah lingkungan, dan kondisi ramah lingkungan pada limbah kemasan minuman ringan. Penenelitian ini menggunakan metode the house model. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi perbaikan green manufacturing limbah kemasan minuman ringan memiliki tiga pilar utama (kondisi ramah lingkungan, perbaikan ramah lingkungan, dan persiapan pembersihan) dan pondasi yang merupakan pendukung melalui kebijakan dan regulasi pemerintah dalam menentukan jenis pewarnaan yang ramah lingkungan untuk limbah kemasan minum ringan, sehingga dapat menurunkan tingkatan dan dampak limbah di lingkungan.

Abstract

Condensate Evacuation Pump (CEP) berfungsi sebagai pompa untuk mempompa kondensat dari kondensor melalui hotwell, melalui cartridge filter dan ground steam generator ke deaerator. Analisis getaran adalah salah satu teknologi pemeliharaan prediktif, khusus digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi penyebab gejala kerusakan. Penelitian ini di lakukan dengan metode envelope analysis, tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh perubahan speed motor condensate extraction pump terhadap vibrasi dengan satu buah sensor accelerometer arah horizontal sisi bearing motor NDE (Non drive End). Dari hasil pengujian data yang sudah diambil menghasilkan nilai minimum pada speed 1300 rpm dengan frekuensi 86,40 Hz nilai vibrasi sebesar 0,016 m/s2, nilai medium pada kecepatan 1200 rpm dengan frekuensi 60,99 Hz nilai vibrasi sebesar 0,099 m/s2 dan nilai maksimum pada kecepatan 1400 rpm dengan frekuensi 90,40 Hz nilai vibrasi sebesar 0,322 m/s2. Dapat disimpulkan bahwasannya perbedaan rpm berpengaruh pada amplitude envelope spectrum namun tidak berpengaruh pada pola spektrum, kenaikan rpm berbanding lurus dengan kenaikan amplitude spektrum envelope. Dari hasil perhitungan bahwa umur bearing motor condensate extraction pump (CEP) pada kecepatan 1200 rpm adalah 217013,89 jam operasi atau 25 tahun waktu operasi. Pada kecepatan 1300 rpm 1229517,94 jam operasi atau 26 tahun waktu operasi, pada kecepatan 1400 rpm 184891,66 jam operasi atau 21 tahun waktu operasi, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa kondisi dikecepatan rpm 1400 rpm umur bearing lebih pendek. Dan pada kecepatan rpm 1300 umur bearing lebih lama, dengan ketentuan data di atas motor condensate extraction pump speed, pelumasan,beban harus tetap kondisi normal steady.

Abstract

Boilers are essential components in industry, functioning to generate steam for production processes, and their efficiency greatly affects both energy effectiveness and operational costs. One of the main factors influencing efficiency is the type of fuel used. This study aims to analyze the effect of fuel variations on the efficiency of a Chain Grate Stoker boiler in a textile industry located in Pandaan, Pasuruan Regency. The research employed a quantitative approach by testing five types of fuel, namely coal, wood pellets, candlenut shells, palm shells, and a coal–wood pellet mixture (80:20). Data were collected through direct measurement of boiler operational variables, including steam pressure, furnace temperature, feedwater temperature, and steam flow rate. Boiler efficiency was calculated using the heat balance method by comparing the fuel input energy with the output energy in the form of steam. The results show that wood pellets produced the highest efficiency at 57% with an average furnace temperature of 415 °C, although requiring higher fuel consumption (1,800 kg/h). Candlenut shells yielded the lowest efficiency at 39% due to their high moisture content. Pure coal demonstrated moderate efficiency of 46% but produced a large amount of ash residue. Meanwhile, the coal–wood pellet mixture provided the best balance, achieving 51% efficiency with lower fuel consumption (1,300 kg/h) and moderate ash residue. This study confirms that fuel type has a significant impact on boiler efficiency and operational sustainability. The coal–wood pellet co-firing strategy is recommended as a more economical and environmentally friendly alternative compared to single-fuel utilization
