Abstract

This research with qualitative and quantitative approaches in order to develop measurements of religious moderation. There are stages that will be carried out, first determining the definition or concept of religious moderation, with a prototype methodology approach. Search, explain and describe individuals who have moderate nature in religion. Prototype methodology is used to obtain constructs of psychological variables, including cognitive, conative and psychomotor. Subsequent research compiles or develops measuring instruments for religious moderation. The first study was analyzed qualitatively, while the second study used quantitative analysis. Based on reliability tests with an alpha internal consistency approach, reliability was obtained of 0.90. Based on confirmatory analysis, it was found that chi-square 295.103 (DF = 164, p = 0.000), CMIN / DF = 1.799, GFI = 0.877, TLI = 0.887 and RMSEA = 0.062. Conclusion The criteria for acceptance of the model are met or have been as required. The proposed model design is the same as the empirical data or the model proposed fit. This means that religious moderation can be explained through tolerant behavior towards other people's religions and beliefs, having a national commitment, non-violence and being able to behave and behave accommodating with local culture.

Abstract

Islam is a source of civilization for its adherents, in accordance with the conception of the word civilization itself, which means the product of human life activity, whether in the field of politics, economy, social, education and so forth. So Islam as a religion, in its scriptures also gives clues about the things that are needed in human life, although it is not in the language of detailly. Enforcing the application of Arabic Islamic Shari'a into the society such as Indonesia, of course it will create feelings of alienation in religion. As an example is in the case of hijab for muslim woman (muslimah). Arabic or Middle Eastern dress models and veils are dark colors. If these models are used in Indonesian Moslem society, the wearer will look different and become strange in that society. Therefore it is needed to take a wise attitude in implementation the teaching of religion, so that it will be suitable with local culture that is already exists.

Abstract

Guru  sebagai pendidik adalah seseorang yang memberikan kontribusi kepada masyarakat dan bangsa.  Budaya tinggi dan rendah, kemajuan atau kemunduran suatu masyarakat dan tingkat budaya negara sangat tergantung pada pendidikan dan pengajaran yang diberikan oleh guru. Penelitian  ini mengkaji bagaimana cara memperbaiki kualitas mengajar guru Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI)  dengan menggunakan metode library  reasearch. Berdasarkan analisis data, diperoleh hasil bahwa cara yang efektif dari pemerintah untuk memperbaiki kualitas mengajar guru Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI)  adalah dengan memberikan mereka apresiasi atau  penghargaan berupa  sertifikasi  guru. Sertifikasi ini merupakan bukti formal pengakuan formalitas guru yang diberikan kepada guru sebagai tenaga profesional. Untuk itu, gurupun diharapkan mampu meningkatkan kompetensi dan profesionalitasnya.kata kunci: kualitas, guru, PAITeacher as educator is someone who gives contribution  to the society in a country. The culture level and the progress of society lie on the education quality. It can not be separated from teachers’ role. The aim of this study was discussing and finding the way how to improve the Islamic Education  teachers’ quality. The method  used in this study was library research. Based on the data analysis, the result showed that the effective way from government to improve the Islamic Education teachers’ quality  is giving the appreciation.  That appreciation  is in the form of teachers’ certification. It can be the formal proof that the government acknowledge them as professional personnel. Hopefully, the teachers are able to improve their competence and professionality.Keywords: quality, teacher, Education, Islam, Studi

Abstract

DEVELOPING OF MADRASAH STUDENTS’ LIFE SKILL THROUGH GARDENING EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITY. The reason doing this study is to answer hard critics from the society as stakeholders for Education. It is about the exist of the Madrasah, Islamic School. It is viewed as an organization which haven’t give a good solution for both trouble in society; piss-poor and jobless. We use qualitative approach, interview, and collecting data technique to get data for this study. The results are: first, to reject arguments that the Madrasah graduation is only clever on religion, Madrasah Abadiyah Kuryokalangan Gabus Pati do gardening extracurricular to develop students’ life skill. This step makes the students develop their human talent in a maximum way and they have something to stand on the society. Second, there are a balance between life skill development through gardening activities with core curriculum that learnt in the class. As the Qur’an Hadist philosophy; the gardening techniqueare the practices from science teory and the gardening managing are the practises from Sociology teories.
