Abstract

Ngadas Village is a village with an interesting order of life and customs like many other villages. The people have lived long with the customs and norms of local wisdom. Our study aims to investigate the harmonization of both customary law and national law in Ngadas Village. The customary law includes the local wisdom value as a philosophy and obeys positive law. To understand the harmonization, we use an empirical juridical approach in understanding the role of government officials in preserving customs and positive law. Subsequently, we discuss the harmonization through the role of government officials covering aspects of community life. Our findings indicate that the positive law serves as a reference to the customary law. The customary law is in line with national interests and laws and national law. Likewise, the customary law is in harmony with religious elements. This denotes the importance of the village's official roles for the local community's interests.

Abstract

Peningkatan inovasi merupakan modal utama untuk mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi yang lebih tinggi, berkelanjutan serta mensejahterakan secara adil dan merata. Salah satu cara pencapaian pertumbuhan ekonomi di desa adalah dengan melakukan pembinaan kelompok-kelompok dalam masyarakat desa. Di desa Bilaporah, Kecamatan Socah, Kabupaten Bangkalan, terdapat perkebunan salak yang memiliki potensi untuk dikembangkan. Ibu-ibu PKK pernah mengolah salak menjadi dodol salak. Namun usaha tersebut berhenti dikarenakan kurangnya motivasi masyarakat, dodok salak kurang awet, dan kemasan yang tidak menarik. Sesuai dengan kebiasaan masyarakat Indonesia yang gemar mengkonsumsi makanan ringan, maka dodol salak memiliki peluang untuk dikembangkan. Untuk permasalahan tersebut, solusi yang ditawarkan adalah memfokuskan pada cara memotivasi masyarakat untuk mau melanjutkan usaha mandiri, memberikan pelatihan mengolah dodol yang baik dan benar serta menambahkan natrium benzoate sehingga dodol awet, dan membuat desain label serta kemasan yang menarik. Tahapan pelaksanaan program pengabdian ini adalah tahap penentuan jadwal kegiatan, tahap pelaksanaan, penyuluhan dan pelatihan, monitoring dan keberlanjutan produksi.

Abstract

Buah yang cocok tumbuh di iklim tropis seperti di Indonesia adalah buah rambutan. Tiga wilayah penghasil buah rambutan terbesar di Indonesia adalah Jawa Barat, Jawa Tengah, dan Jawa Timur. Salah satu penghasil buah rambutan di Jawa Timur adalah Kecamatan Socah. Kecamatan Socah terdiri dari 11 desa, salah satunya adalah Desa Bilaporah. Pohon rambutan sangat mudah ditemui di Desa Bilaporah. Hampir disetiap pekarangan rumah warga terdapat pohon rambutan. Melimpahnya buah rambutan menyebabkan rambutan tidak dapat terkonsumsi seluruhnya sehingga warga terkadang membiarkan rambutan membusuk tidak termanfaatkan. Atas permasalahan tersebut perlu dilakukan inovasi terhadap buah rambutan hasil panen warga Desa Bilaporah. Inovasi tersebut berupa produk camilan dari buah rambutan yaitu dodol rambutan. Kegiatan pengabdian berupa diskusi dengan ibu-ibu PKK, uji coba produkis dodol rambutan, dan edukasi pemasaran online. Kegiatan berjalan lancar dan diikuti secara antusias oleh ibu-ibu PKK. Hambatan yang dihadapi dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah tidak seluruh ibu-ibu PKK hadir dalam kegiatan pengabdian.

Abstract

The legal system which is based on and inspired by the philosophical values of Pancasila, aims to improve the legal system in Indonesia. That is able to protect its citizens from all actions or behaviors that are contrary to humanity and justice. Therefore, Indonesian law contains elements of protecting implementing order, justice, and especially non-discrimination, especially from gender. The law creates a dignified society, which humanizes humans, upholds human values. The norms that live in society, become a basis for the formation of a rule. But the customs and habits that exist in ethnic groups in Indonesia have their own character. Violence cannot be identified in a particular society, but all humans can have a hard character. However, the existence of a belis or dowry, seems to give legitimacy that women have been bought. Therefore, through this community service activity, it focuses focuses on efforts to increase awereness of the law in the hope of minimizing the habit of violent behavior in the nomad community from Ende in the Surabaya city. This effort to increase awereness of the law is carried out through legal assistance regarding domestic violence in the Ende nomad community in Surabaya City. The assistance of representatives of Ende residents in Surabaya related to Law Number 23 of 2004 concerning Domestic Violence needs to be carried out intensively and massively. There is a decrease in the level of domestic violence in the families of Ende nomads in Surabaya. Highlights: Legal System Based on Pancasila: The legal system in Indonesia is inspired by the philosophical values of Pancasila, aiming to protect citizens and uphold humanity, justice, and non-discrimination, especially concerning gender. Focus on Awareness and Minimizing Violence: Community service activity focuses on increasing awareness of the law to minimize violent behavior within the nomad community from Ende in Surabaya. Intensive Legal Assistance: Representatives of the Ende residents in Surabaya provide intensive and massive legal assistance related to Law Number 23 of 2004 concerning Domestic Violence, resulting in a decrease in domestic violence in the Ende nomad families. Abstract

Mendapatkan lingkungan hidup yang baik dan sehat merupakan bagian dari Hak Asasi Manusia yang tertuang dalam pasal 28 H ayat (1) UUD NRI 1945. Bahwa dengan lingkungan yang baik dan sehat secara tidak langsung dapat memperpanjang usia serta dapat menekan biaya kesehatan. Pelibatan generasi muda dalam menjaga lingkungan hidup melalui Gerakan Peduli dan Berbudaya Lingkungan Hidup di Sekolah merupakan strategi yang efektif untuk membiasakan dan menjaga lingkungan semenjak masa sekolah. Melalui PermenLHK No. P.52/MENLHK/SETJEN/KUM.1/9/2019 tentang Gerakan Peduli dan Berbudaya Lingkungan Hidup di Sekolah sekaligus sebagai wujud tanggungjawab untuk menjaga lingkungan. Meskipun pengaturan ini telah lama disahkan namun masih relevan dan penting untuk di sosialisasikan siswa sekolah sebagai bagian dari warga sekolah. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat, maka dilakukan penyuluhan di SMA Katolik St. Louis 2 Surabaya. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis sosial dengan melakukan observasi lapangan serta wawancara secara mendalam dan penyuluhan. Hasil kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa kelompok sasaran telah memliki lingkungan sekolah yang nyaman. Sebagai saran, baiknya lingkungan yang hijau menjadi salah satu kriteria dalam penilaian dalam peningkatan akreditasi sekolah. Selain itu, menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang nyaman menjadi tanggungjawab selirih warga sekolah.

Abstract

Suffrage is a right that must be fulfilled and exercised, because it is the embodiment of democratic principles in a country that is sovereign of the people. General elections in Indonesia are held every 5 (five) years, therefore, every year there is an increase in the number of voters. Observing this, through the method of approach, to prepare novice voters to exercise their right to vote without hesitation, especially on novice voters, who have met the age requirements Because these novice voters do not understand the importance of their participation in the general election, and also there are several obstacles that become obstacles to the fulfillment of the right to vote, it is necessary to identify existing obstacles and prepare efforts to overcome obstacles aforementioned. One of the efforts that will be carried out by the Community Service Team, through persuasive legal approaches and social approaches, is by socializing the 1945 NRI Constitution along with an understanding of citizens' voting rights as a manifestation of democratic principles, at the democratic party, namely: General Elections. Understanding the Constitution and Human Rights of Citizens in the political field is a way to minimize the non-use of the right to vote, so that in the upcoming General Election, namely: in 2024, it is necessary to carry out an activity that supports the increase in voter turnout in the 2024 general election, especially in the novice voter group of students of St. Louis 2 High School Surabaya. Abstract

Kegiatan penanaman modal di suatu negara terkait dengan tuntutan dalam rangka pembangunan ekonomi nasional di negara tersebut, dan pada umunmya kesulitan atau kendala yang dihadapi adalah sama , yaitu antara lain : kekurangan modal, kemampuan dalam hal teknologi, ilmu pengetahuan, pengalaman, ketrampilan dan yang terutama adalah kesiapan negara tersebut dalam menyediakan sarana dan prasarana yang dibutuhkan, yaitu : peraturan yang sederhana, mengutamakan kepastian hukum dan mengedepankan prinsip transparansi , sehingga penanam modal menaruh minat untuk menanamkan modalnya dinegara tersebut. Kendala utama dalam upaya memperbaiki iklim penanaman modal sehingga tercapai iklim penanaman modal yang kondusif, adalah prinsip transparansi, dan upaya untuk penyempurnaan transparansi ini.
