Abstract

This article aims to: (1) Create an android-based learning media that is used by students in the learning process of Light Vehicle Engineering expertise in SMK Negeri 2 Pengasih (SMK Negeri 2 Pengasih); (2) evaluating the feasibility of developed learning media; (3) describe the level of effectiveness of Android-based learning media products developed. This article can be categorized as Development of learning media which adopts the ADDIE development model including analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The stages of product development consist of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. Product trials consist of internal trials and external trials. Data from the trial results were collected by questionnaire, field observations, and documentation. The article instruments are questionnaires, learning media in the form of Application Package (APK) files, and documents. The subject of this article was 46 students of Light Vehicle Engineering expertise at the 2 Loving Public Vocational School, with two instrument validators, two product validators, and two teachers. The results of the article were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. The findings show that (1) Product development, in the form of an Android-based learning media, contains several menus, such as, top right corner menu, description menu, theoretical menu, and exercise menu. (2) The feasibility level of android-based learning media from material experts can be categorized as "good" while those from media experts are declared "good" and the eligibility test for students is indicated in the "good" category. (3) The level of effectiveness of Android-based learning media application products obtained an N-gain of 76.09 (effective).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Menghasilkan media/produk sistem keamanan sepeda motor berbasis android dan adruino sebagai pendukung media belajar. (2) Mengetahui kelayakan produk yang dihasilkan berupa  media belajar sistem keamanan sepeda motor berbasis android dan adruino pada mata kuliah teknik sepeda motor. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan atau Research and Developmen (R&D) menggunakan model pengembangan 4D yang memiliki 4 tahapan yaitu tahap Define, tahap Design, tahap Develop and tahap Disseminate. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan angket skala likert dengan empat versi respons jawaban.  Sedangkan teknik analisis yang dipergunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian pengembangan ini telah berhasil dikembangkan dalam bentuk berupa produk  sistem keamanan sepeda motor berbasis android dan adruino sebagai media pendukung belajar praktek, materi sistem kelistrikan sepeda motor pada mata kuliah TSM (Teknik Sepeda Motor), program studi Pendidikan Vokasional Teknik Mesin konsentrasi otomotif,  Universitas Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa Yogyakarta. Hasil kelayakan produk dari ahli mendapat rerata 79,4% termasuk dalam kategori “sangat layak”, sedangkan hasil  Uji coba terhadap 14 mahasiwa diperoleh skor 89,8% dari aspek kualitas produk  masuk dalam kategori “sangat layak”, dari aspek penggunaan produk mendapat skor 79,9% masuk kategori “sangat layak”, dan dari aspek penggunaan produk mendapat skor 88,2% masuk dalam kategori “sangat layak”. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa sistem keamanan sepeda motor berbasis android dan adruino sangat layak digunakan sebagai media pendukung pembelajaran.   Development of Android and Arduino-based motorcycle security systems as a support of learning media   Abstract: This study aims to (1) Produce media/products for motorcycle security systems based on Android and Adruino as a support for learning media. (2) Knowing the feasibility of the resulting product in the form of learning media for motorcycle security systems based on Android and Adruino in motorcycle engineering courses. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) using the 4D development model, which has four stages, namely the Define stage, the Design stage, the Develop stage, and the Disseminate stage. The data collection instrument used in this study used a Likert scale questionnaire with four versions of response answers. In contrast, the analysis technique used is descriptive quantitative. This development research has been successfully developed as a motorcycle security system product based on Android and Adruino as a supporting medium for practical learning, motorcycle electrical system material in the TSM (Motorcycle Engineering) course, Vocational Education Mechanical Engineering study program in automotive concentration, Bachelors University. Tamansiswa Yogyakarta. The product feasibility results from experts got an average of 79.4% included in the "very feasible" category, while the results of trials on 14 students obtained a score of 89.8% from the aspect of product quality included in the "very feasible" category, from the aspect of product use it received a score 79.9% is in the "very decent" category, and from the aspect of product use a score of 88.2% is in the "very decent" category. The analysis results show that the motorcycle security system based on Android and Adruino is very suitable to be used as a learning support medium.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the perception of Elementary School Teacher Education Program (PGSD) students regarding the use of the SiPeDar Learning Platform in the academic environment. The research method employed was a survey using a questionnaire as the primary instrument. The respondents in this study were active PGSD students who used SiPeDar in their learning processes. The main findings of this research indicate that 90% of PGSD students at UST Yogyakarta have a good understanding of SiPeDar usage and feel comfortable operating it. Factors such as the availability of technological resources and support from instructors also have a positive impact on students' perceptions of the quality and effectiveness of SiPeDar, with 95% acknowledging this influence. Furthermore, a significant majority of students expressed satisfaction with the use of SiPeDar in the learning process. The results of this research can provide valuable insights to educational institutions and developers of similar learning platforms to enhance the use of SiPeDar and support more effective distance learning in the future.

Abstract

Budaya 3M (Memakai masker, Menjaga jarak, dan Mencuci tangan) merupakan upaya pencegahan penularan virus covid-19. Disiplin dalam menjalankan protokol kesehatan khususnya cuci tangan akan semakin terbantu dengan tersedianya fasilitas wastafel cuci tangan di lab PVTM. Terlebih dalam memudahkan seseorang mencuci tangan pemanfaatan wastafel otomatis akan menjadi alternatif solusi dalam peningkatan gerakan budaya disiplin mencuci tangan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan wastafel otomatis berbasis infrared proximity sensor. Jenis penelitian ini adalah pengembangan (Research and Development). Desain penelitian yang digunakan mengacu pada model pengembangan ADDIE dengan tahapan meliputi lima langkah, yaitu: (1) Analysis (Analisis); (2) Design (Desain); (3) Development (Pengembangan); (4) Implementation (Implementasi); dan (5) Evaluation (Evaluasi). Bahan yang dibutuhkan diantaranya PCB rangkaian komparator, infrared proximity sensor, keran, bak wastafet set, elektrik pump, kabel, dan baterai litium. Hasil penelitian berupa produk “wastafel otomatis berbasis infrared proximity sensor” yang diterapkan di bengkel PVTM UST. Sedangkan luaran tambahan berupa publikasi artikel pada Jurnal dan HKI. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi teknologi alternatif dalam memudahkan proses cuci tangan sehingga disiplin protokol kesehatan covid-19 menjadi kebudayaan dilingkungan kampus dan masyarakat.

Abstract

Development of Video-Based Learning Media on Fuel System Subjects to Improve Learning Outcomes of SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Moyudan Students. Thesis. Vocational Education Study Program in Mechanical Engineering. Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa University Yogyakarta, 2024. This research aims to: 1. Develop appropriate video-based learning media for students to improve learning outcomes. 2. Test the feasibility of video-based learning media on fuel system subjects for SMK Muhammadiyah Moyudan students. 3. Improve students’ learning outcomes in the subjects taught.This research is a research and development (R&D) study using the ADDIE development model: Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The development media is in the form of instructional videos. The data analysis technique uses descriptive quantitative. The research results show that: 1) This research produces EFI Fuel System instructional videos. 2) The EFI Fuel System instructional video is very feasible to use based on the validation results of material experts 1 and 2 with an average score of 82% and the media expert validation score of 91%. 3) Student responses show a very good category for use with a score of 87%. The development of the use of instructional video media was tested during the pretest with an average score of 53% and posttest 87%. The improvement in learning outcomes measured using the N-Gain formula obtained 0.3≤0.57≤0.7, which can be categorized as moderate, so the EFI Fuel System video-based learning media product is feasible to use for learning media.
