Abstract

This study aimed to describe (1) learning creativity of measurement tool subject among the tenth grade students of SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Klaten Utara in the academic year 2014/2015 and (2) learning achievement of measurement tool subject among the tenth grade students of SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Klaten Utara in the academic year 2014/2015. This study was an action research. Techniques collecting data used test and documentation. This study shows that (1) the implementation of group to group exchange could improve learning creativity. The learning creativity of cycle was 45.23, while the learning creativity in cycle II was 45.23. (2) the implementation of group to group exchange could improve learning achievement of measurement tool subject among the tenth grade students of SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Klaten Utara in the academic year 2014/2015. There was improvement of scores in cycle I and cycle II. The average score in cycle I was 58.85, cycle II was 75.14. It could be stated that the implementation of group to group exchange to improve learning creativity and lerning achievement of measurement tool subject among the tenth grade students of SMK Muhammadiyah 3 Klaten Utara in the academic year 2014/2015.

Abstract

The Implementation of Numbered Head Together (NHT) learning model to Enhance the students Active Role in Learning the Brake System. A thesis of Machine Engginering Education Study Program Faculty of Teacher Training and Educatioon of Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa University Yogyakarta, 2016.The type of this research is action research including three cycles. Each cycle is conducted by four stages including 1. Planning 2. Implementing 3. Observing and 4. Reflexting. In collecting the Data, the researcher appied test, observation as well as document. The technique used in analyzing the observation sheet and test is quantitive deskriptive.  The result of this research showed that the implementation of Numbered Head Together (NHT) learning model had enhanched both the students learning Active Role and the students’ learning results of the brake system subject to each cycle. It is proved by the increasing result of the observation sheet of the students learning Active Role from which the first cycle 44,57% having increased to the second cycle 16,57% becoming 61,14% and in the third cycle having increased 25,57% becoming 86,71%. Furthermore, based on the learning result test  of the first cycle gave the average grade of the pre test 62,28%, the average grade of the post test then 60,71%, the average grade 69,57% so the learning result increased 8,86% and in the second cycle gave the average grade of pretest 62,28% and the average post test then 75,42% increased the learning result 13,14% and the the test of the third cycle, the average pre test 65,14% and the average post test 83,42%.. Due to the research findings, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Numbered Head Together (NHT) learning model can enhance the students learning Active Role as well as the results of the students learning in the brake system.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses, kelayakan, dan efektifitas modul pembuatan bodi kendaraan dari fiberglass yang dikembangkan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model pengembangan 4D. Pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, angket, dan tes. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar obervasi, angket, dan soal. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif, deskriptif kuantitatif, dan statistik inferensial uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Proses pengembangan modul dengan model 4D meliputi empat tahap yaitu define, design, develop, dan disseminate; (2) Uji kelayakan modul oleh ahli materi sebesar 86,01% dikategorikan sangat baik; oleh ahli media sebesar 79,69% dikategorikan sangat baik; oleh dosen pengampu sebesar 82,59% dikategorikan sangat baik; uji coba terbatas oleh 10 mahasiswa sebesar 81,07 dikategorikan sangat baik, dan uji coba luas oleh 30 mahasiswa sebesar 85,05 dikategorikan sangat baik; dan (3)  Hasil uji-t menunjukkan bahwa thitung lebih besar ttabel (2,577 > 1,671) pada taraf signifikansi 5%, sehingga Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima yang artinya modul pembuatan bodi kendaraan dari fiberglass yang dikembangkan efektif digunakan dalam perkuliahan.  This research aims to determine the process, feasibility, and effectiveness of module manufacture of vehicle body from fiberglass developed. The type of research used is development research using 4D development model. Data collection using observation, questionnaires, and tests. The research instruments used were observation sheet, questionnaire, and test sheet. Data were analyzed descriptively qualitative, quantitative descriptive, and t-test inferential statistics. The results showed: (1) Module development process with 4D model includes four stages of define, design, develop, and disseminate; (2) Feasibility test of module by expert material equal to 86,01% is categorized very good; by a media expert of 79.69% is categorized excellent; by the lecturer 82.59% is categorized as excellent; small trial by 10 students of 81.07 is categorized excellent, and big trial by 30 students of 85.05 is categorized excellent; and (3) The result of ttest shows that tcount is bigger ttable (2,577> 1,671) at 5% significance level, so Ho is rejected and Ha accepted which means module manufacture of vehicle body of fiberglass developed effectively used in learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pengalaman praktik kerja lapangan dengan minat berwirausaha. Jenis penelitian ini yang digunakan adalah penelitian ex-post facto, Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah 45 siswa yang di ambil seluruh populasi. Pengumpulan data menggunakan angket untuk semua variable sehingga teknik analisis data dengan analisis deskriptif, uji hipotesis dan uji korelasi. Hasil analisis korelasi product moment terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pengalaman praktik kerja lapangan dengan minat berwirausaha dengan koefisien korelasi rxy = 0,602, hal ini dibuktikan berdasarkan nilai rhitung lebih besar dari rtabel (4,946 > 1,6811) dan nilai sign sebesar 0,000, yang berarti kurang dari 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05). Dengan koefisien determinasi (r2) sebesar 0,363 Artinya pengalaman praktik kerja lapangan dengan minat berwirausaha memiliki varian sebesar 36,3%, sedangkan sisanya 63,7% dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain seperti sikap percaya diri, hasil belajar kewirausahaan, kesiapan kerja, dan penguasaan kompetensi.  This research aims to know the practical experience of field work relationship with an interest in entrepreneurship. This kind of research used are ex -post facto research, this is research on a sample of 45 students who are in grab the entire population. Data collection using question form for all variable so that data a nalysis techniques with descriptive analysis, test hypotheses and test correlations. The results of the analysis of the correlation of product moment there is a significant relationship between practical experience of field work with an interest in entrepr eneurship with a coefficient of correlation rxy = 0.602, this is evidenced based on the value of rhitung is greater than rtabel (4.946 > 1.6811) and the value of the sign of 0.000, which means less than 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05). With a coefficient of determination (r2) of 0.363 Means practical experience of field work with an interest in entrepreneurship has a variant of 36.3%, While remaining 63.7% are affected by other variables such as the attitude of self-confidence, the result of learning entrepreneurship, work readiness and mastery of the competencies.

Abstract

The aims of this research were to improve the activity and learning achievements of Cooling System subjects in class XI Light Vehicle Engineering (TKR) of Muhammadiyah 1 Imogiri Vocational School using the Cooperative Snowball Throwing type model. This research was a Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subject of this study was the tenth-grade students of Light Vehicle Engineering at Muhammadiyah 1 Imogiri Vocational School in the year 2017/2018, amounted to 29 students, while the object of this classroom action research was the application of the Snowball Throwing a type cooperative learning model. The data collection techniques used were observation and test. The instruments used were test sheets and observation sheets. The data analysis techniques used descriptive and quantitative analysis to determine the percentage of activity and learning were an achievement. The results of this research show that: (1) the application of the Snowball Throwing type cooperative learning model could improve students’ activity in the cooling system subjects. The result shows that the activeness score in the first cycle (48.8%) and increased in the second cycle became (68.2%), and (2) The application of the Snowball Throwing type cooperative learning model could improve the learning achievements of the Cooling System. The results show that the results of the pre-cycle test were 13.79%. Students who completed the first cycle of KKM were 13 students with a percentage of 44.9%. The test results in cycle II increased from cycle I. Students completed cycle II as many as 23 people with a percentage of 79.3%.

Abstract

The aims of this study were to find out: (1) the relationship between parenting and entrepreneurial learning achievement on the interest in entrepreneurship, (2) the relationship between parenting interest in entrepreneurship interests, and (3) the relationship between entrepreneurship learning achievement and entrepreneurial interest. This study included the type of ex-post facto research. The data collection techniques were questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique used descriptive analysis, the first hypothesis test used multiple regression and the second and third hypothesis tests used a partial correlation test which was preceded by a test of normality, linearity and independence. The results showed that: (1) There was a positive and significant relationship between parenting and entrepreneurial learning achievement with entrepreneurial interests with a value of R = 0.415 and Freg value = 13.334 with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. (2) There was a positive and significant relationship between parenting and entrepreneurial interests with a calculated coefficient r count = 0.312 with a significant level of 0.000 <0.05. There was a positive and significant relationship between entrepreneurial learning achievement and entrepreneurial interest with the coefficient of r count = 0.294 with a significance level of 0.001 < 0.05.

Abstract

Lecturers in study programs make a major contribution to the quality of study program accreditation, particularly in the upcoming IAPS 4.0 completeness. The lecturer base needs to be managed through a concrete, transparent, structured, comprehensive, and accountable system. Lack of data management in lecturers at the Mechanical Engineering Education / PTM Study Program so far is still paperless based so that it is less effective, efficient, having to copy documents, and tends only to collect data close to the accreditation of study programs. This research aims: (1) to produce e-monitoring products on the performance of lecturers based on a cloud computing system; (2) knowing the level of feasibility of e-monitoring products on the performance of lecturers based on cloud computing system at PTM Study Program. The research method uses Research and Development (R&D), which adopts the ADDIE (Analysis-Design-Development-Implementation-Evaluation) model. The research sample was 11 PTM lecturers. Validators of eligibility included the chairman of the LPM and the chair of the UST IT team. The instruments used included questionnaires and documentation. This research succeeded in producing a product in the form of a cloud computing system with a private cloud type with the Platform As A Service (PaaS) model. The data used as an assessment of lecturer performance include governance, HR performance, education performance, research performance, and service performance. The results of expert assessments obtained an average of 91.25%, which shows that this system is very feasible to use. While the evaluation results of the system implementation showed that 90% of PTTM lecturers were able to understand and skillfully operate the cloud system, thus this system is very feasible to be used as e-monitoring of lecturer performance that is accurate, accountable, objective, and safe to use.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) Menghasilkan media/produk sistem keamanan sepeda motor berbasis android dan adruino sebagai pendukung media belajar. (2) Mengetahui kelayakan produk yang dihasilkan berupa  media belajar sistem keamanan sepeda motor berbasis android dan adruino pada mata kuliah teknik sepeda motor. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan atau Research and Developmen (R&D) menggunakan model pengembangan 4D yang memiliki 4 tahapan yaitu tahap Define, tahap Design, tahap Develop and tahap Disseminate. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan angket skala likert dengan empat versi respons jawaban.  Sedangkan teknik analisis yang dipergunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Penelitian pengembangan ini telah berhasil dikembangkan dalam bentuk berupa produk  sistem keamanan sepeda motor berbasis android dan adruino sebagai media pendukung belajar praktek, materi sistem kelistrikan sepeda motor pada mata kuliah TSM (Teknik Sepeda Motor), program studi Pendidikan Vokasional Teknik Mesin konsentrasi otomotif,  Universitas Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa Yogyakarta. Hasil kelayakan produk dari ahli mendapat rerata 79,4% termasuk dalam kategori “sangat layak”, sedangkan hasil  Uji coba terhadap 14 mahasiwa diperoleh skor 89,8% dari aspek kualitas produk  masuk dalam kategori “sangat layak”, dari aspek penggunaan produk mendapat skor 79,9% masuk kategori “sangat layak”, dan dari aspek penggunaan produk mendapat skor 88,2% masuk dalam kategori “sangat layak”. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa sistem keamanan sepeda motor berbasis android dan adruino sangat layak digunakan sebagai media pendukung pembelajaran.   Development of Android and Arduino-based motorcycle security systems as a support of learning media   Abstract: This study aims to (1) Produce media/products for motorcycle security systems based on Android and Adruino as a support for learning media. (2) Knowing the feasibility of the resulting product in the form of learning media for motorcycle security systems based on Android and Adruino in motorcycle engineering courses. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) using the 4D development model, which has four stages, namely the Define stage, the Design stage, the Develop stage, and the Disseminate stage. The data collection instrument used in this study used a Likert scale questionnaire with four versions of response answers. In contrast, the analysis technique used is descriptive quantitative. This development research has been successfully developed as a motorcycle security system product based on Android and Adruino as a supporting medium for practical learning, motorcycle electrical system material in the TSM (Motorcycle Engineering) course, Vocational Education Mechanical Engineering study program in automotive concentration, Bachelors University. Tamansiswa Yogyakarta. The product feasibility results from experts got an average of 79.4% included in the "very feasible" category, while the results of trials on 14 students obtained a score of 89.8% from the aspect of product quality included in the "very feasible" category, from the aspect of product use it received a score 79.9% is in the "very decent" category, and from the aspect of product use a score of 88.2% is in the "very decent" category. The analysis results show that the motorcycle security system based on Android and Adruino is very suitable to be used as a learning support medium.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the ratio of power and torque produced by motorcycle engines using CDI variations with various fuels. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative. Data collection techniques using tests, namely by testing the object under study then measuring and recording directly the resulting data. The testing process uses the help of a dynamometer measuring instrument. Data collection was carried out at 6000 to 11000 rpm rotation. The results showed that the power and torque produced using standard CDI DC on pertalite fuel showed the lowest value with a maximum power of 22.5 HP at 9168 rpm and a maximum torque of 19.78 Nm at 6576 rpm, on Pertamax 92 fuel the maximum power was 22, 6 HP at 8370 rpm, with a maximum torque of 19.99 Nm at 7246 rpm and the Pertamax 98 fuel shows the highest value with a maximum power of 23.2 HP at 8931 rpm and a maximum torque of 20.16 Nm at 7345 rpm. For the power and torque generated by the use of CDI DC racing BRT on pertalite fuel, it shows the lowest value with a maximum power of 22.9 HP at 8604 rpm and a maximum torque of 19.43 Nm at 7670 rpm, on Pertamax 92 fuel the maximum power is 23, 6 HP at 8979 rpm, with a maximum torque of 19.81 Nm at 7552 rpm and the Pertamax 98 fuel shows the highest value with a maximum power of 23.8 HP at 9156 rpm and a maximum torque of 20.36 Nm at 7458 rpm. The use of CDI DC racing BRT is able to serve engine performance at higher rpm rotations and produce greater power and torque for each type of fuel variation.
