Abstract

Community Service with the title "Theatre Training as an Alternative for Out-of-school Education during the Covid-19 Pandemic at the Rumah Belajar Bintang Kurenah, Payakumbuh City" is a program that involved the Bintang Kurenah Learning House as a partner in the theatre training. This theatre training for children and youth especially. There were three forms of training: basic theatre training (body exercises, vocal and taste exercises), folk games, and learning fairy tales and folklore. The methods used in this theatre training were arranged in several stages, such as; (1) providing primary material related to theatre theory, (2) conducting basic training on theatre, and (3) presentation of training results. The primary material about theatre provided participants with knowledge about the meaning and benefits of theatre in the world of art. Meanwhile, the basic theatre training focuses on exploring body (gestures), vocal processing, and feeling (emotions). The result of this training was that participants, both personally and collectively, make a simple repertoire in the form of pantomimes, read poetry, monologue, which was performed in front of parents and citizens in general.

Abstract

Meluasnya pemanfaatan hutan mangrove sebagai usaha tambak udang perlu mendapatkan perhatian dikarenakan hutan mangrove berfungsi untuk untuk menjaga kualitas air muara dan pesisir pantai, habitat bagi berbagai jenis ikan, udang, kepiting dan burung pantai.  Pengalihan fungsi lahan mangrove terjadi karena masyarakat pemilik lahan tidak merasakan manfaat ekonomi dari hutan mangrove. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan pada Desa Wisata Green Talao Park bertujuan untuk memanfaatkan wisata edukasi berbasis konservasi untuk mencapai pariwisata berkelanjutan sebagai alternatif kegiatan ekonomi bagi masyarakat sekitar. Kegiatan pengabdian secara umum dilakukan dengan metode: koordinasi dengan Pokdarwis, survey lokasi,  persiapan bibit mangrove, koordinasi sebelum penanaman, penanaman bibit mangrove, aksi bersih pantai. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah bertambahnya lahan hutan mangrove, mahasiswa yang terlibat mendapatkan pengalaman yang menyenangkan dengan menerapkan teori tentang pariwisata berkelanjutan, pembuatan paket wisata edukasi berbasis konservasi hutan mangrove oleh pengelola Desa Wisata Green Talao Park.

Abstract

Pariwisata telah menjadi salah satu kegiatan ekonomi global dan industri terpenting di dunia karena pariwisata mampu memberi kontribusi yang besar terhadap devisa Negara. Karena itu diperlukan media dan strategi promosi untuk mengkatkan sektor pariwisata. Pilihan terhadap teater sebagai media promosi pariwisata Puncak pato Tanah datar berdasarkan pertimbangan keunikan dan identitas wisata puncak pato yang serat dengan pesan sejarah dan budaya Minangkabau. Teater sebagai media baru dari formula pertunjukan menjadi media promosi pariwisata yang memiliki kekuatan teks dan konteks dan menjadi keunggulan teater sebagai media promosi pariwisata yang memberi solusi kontruktif terhadap dunia teater yang cenderung mengalami kesulitan menjangkau pasar global.  Teater sebagai media promosi pariwisata, mengetengahkan informasi dan pesan melalui pertunjukan teater yang dimainkan dan disampaikan aktor kepada publik perihal tentang keunikan pariwisata puncak pato dan sejarah penjanjian Sumpah Satie Bukit Marapalam yang melatarbelakanginya. Melalui pertunjukan teater Sumpah satie bukit marapalam, yang ditampilkan secara lansung di puncak pato dan disiarkan lansung secara virtual agar bisa dinikmati audience secara luas sebagai tujuan promosi wisata. Penulisan naskah lakon dengan berpijak pada teori Aristotelian yang menggambarkan struktur dramatik naskah dalam berapa bagian yaitu; eksposisi, aksi pendorong, krisis, klimaks dan resolusi. Dengan demikian fondasi dari ciptaan aktor adalah pemikiran yang matang mengenai struktur ini dan bagaimana karakter yang dimainkan memberi kontribusi kepada keseluruhanya. Abstract

Character education is a form of instilling noble values and goodness. In practice, character education requires time and a long process in order to produce someone with noble morals. The strong character of the Indonesian nation will make this nation dignified and respected by other nations. This is our common goal and dream. Through the younger generation, especially pupils and students, Indonesia's future is at stake. Not only in school, in the world of higher education, character education can also be integrated into classroom learning. This paper uses a qualitative data type approach with descriptive methods, describes how Japanese language learning for tourism students takes place accompanied by the cultivation of noble culture and good values of Japanese society. This is in accordance with the character education values that have been prepared by the Department of National Education, these include religious values, friendship/ communicativeness, love of peace, social care, responsibility and discipline. As part of national education goals, it is hoped that these values can be absorbed and implemented in everyday life.

Abstract

Documenter Film is an actualitation of work art that created from inspiration and ideas of the past event. Various programs of documenter film that existed in a society give information and knowledge through audio visual recorded. The benefits of documenter film is it’s capability to give constructive solution to the tourism phenomenon and local cultural uniqueness. The ritual of the Asyek dance is a sacred event that is to call the ancestral spirits. The ceremony or the ritual asyek event is done by involving special persons that has magical power usually it called by dukun (Pengasouh). The ritual asyek dance showed by actractive performance through documenter fillm media. Its created in a kind of association of pictury story telling. Kind of the performance called as art film or experiment. The combination of picture, music and sound atmosphere (noise) artistically as a main part of this event. Element of music is an important part that gives life movement which aroused someone’s emotion. The ritual of asyek dance as a cultural treasures of Sungai Penuh Jambi have an own uniqueness in a cultural tourism.

Abstract

Pasaman regency is one of 19 regencies in west Sumatera province. Based on the data that released by centre of statistic institution of west Sumatera, Pasaman regency stated as the second lowest of human development indeks (IPM). One of the three criterias of IPM indeks is economic and welfare of the society. One of the ways in growing the economic and welfare of the society in this regency is developing its tourism. Pasaman regency has a big potential to develop its tourism. It has a beautiful nature, waterfalls, geopark, sport tourism, culture, cullinery etc. unfortunately, all of its potentials has not impacted to the welfare of the society in this regency. Based on this situation it needs to do the organizational development by implementing the change management that proposed by kurt lewin in managing the tourism. This research used qualitative descriptive method where in collecting data used library research, studying the datas that published and also interviewing the related persons. the result of the research shown that the tourism of Pasaman regency should develop by 8 steps of change theory. They are; establish a sense of urgency, form a coalition, create new vision, communicate the vision, empower others by removing barriers, create and reward short-term "wins", consolidate, reassess, and adjust, reinforce the change

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether Sate Mak Syukur can become an icon of culinary tourism in Padangpanjang and to determine the economic impact caused by the presence of Sate Mak Syukur as an icon of culinary tourism in Padangpanjang. This study uses a qualitative writing method, namely observation and interviews. Qualitative research methods are research methods used to research natural object conditions. The results of this study were conducted qualitatively descriptively, namely the data collected in the form of words, pictures and not numbers. In this writing, the author went directly to the field to document the writing process as evidence in the implementation of the writing. One of the informants in this study was the owner or business actor. The results of the writing of Sate Mak Syukur as an icon of culinary tourism in Padangpanjang can be seen from several important aspects. Sate Mak Syukur has succeeded in attracting the attention of both local and foreign tourists, thanks to its distinctive taste and attractive presentation. The uniqueness of the recipe and cooking method that have been passed down from generation to generation make this satay not only food, but also part of the culture and traditions of the Padangpanjang community. The economic impact caused by the existence of Sate Mak Syukur is very positive. This culinary business has created jobs for the local community, from processing raw materials to serving customers. In addition, the increase in the number of visitors who come to enjoy this satay also has an impact on other economic sectors, such as accommodation, transportation, and other small businesses around the location. This writing shows that Sate Mak Syukur plays a role as a tourist attraction that can increase visits to Padangpanjang. With the right promotion and development of supporting infrastructure, Sate Mak Syukur has the potential to become one of the famous culinary destinations in Indonesia.

Abstract

Bukittinggi telah menjelma menjadi salah satu magnet wisata kuliner yang menarik perhatian wisatawan, baik dari dalam maupun luar negeri. Kota ini dikenal sebagai destinasi yang menyajikan kuliner khas, termasuk Gulai Itiak Lado Mudo, yang semakin populer berkat lokasinya yang strategis di sekitar Ngarai Sianok, salah satu objek wisata utama di daerah ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) Mengidentifikasi potensi Gulai Itiak Lado Mudo sebagai daya tarik wisata di Bukittinggi, (2) Menelaah pengelolaan wisata kuliner di kawasan ini, dan (3) Menganalisis dampak kehadiran kuliner tersebut di Bukittinggi. Metode yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan penyajian yang bersifat deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui teknik observasi, studi dokumen, wawancara, dan tinjauan literatur, yang kemudian dianalisis menggunakan metode reduksi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan beberapa temuan penting: 1) Aksesibilitas yang baik menjadi kekuatan utama, 2) Waktu pembuatan makanan yang cukup lama menjadi kelemahan, 3) Dukungan pemerintah dalam pengembangan wisata kuliner memberikan peluang yang positif, dan 4) Keberadaan wisata kuliner di daerah lain dapat menjadi ancaman. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini mengindikasikan bahwa wisata kuliner memegang peranan penting dalam meningkatkan perekonomian kawasan destinasi, menciptakan peluang kerja bagi masyarakat setempat, dan meningkatkan kesadaran kolektif untuk menjaga kelestarian tempat wisata.
