Abstract

Problems that arise in the Lembang Floating Market with the presence of new competitors for man made tourist destinations in the city of Bandung which have caused a decrease in tourist visits to Lembang Floating Market and also the inability of the Lembang Floating Market to provide a positive experience for tourists who come who are dissatisfied. Therefore, this study aims to 1) explain the influence of customer experience on tourist satisfaction at the Lembang Floating Market, 2) the influence of tourist satisfaction on their loyalty to the Lembang Floating Market, 3) the influence of customer experience on tourist loyalty at the Lembang Floating Market, 4) to explain the influence of customer experience on tourist loyalty through tourist satisfaction. The sample in this study was 100 respondents from domestic tourists. Determining respondents based on accidental sampling and the data analysis method used is a quantitative approach in the form of a structural equation model (SEM) with the SmartPLS version 3.0 analysis tool which is measured using a Likert scale. The results of this study indicate that a) customer experience has a positive and significant effect on tourist satisfaction, b) tourist satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on tourist loyalty, c) customer experience has a positive and significant effect on tourist loyalty at Floating Market Lembang Bandung, d) customers experience has a positive and significant effect on tourist loyalty through tourist satisfaction. Suggestions for the manager of the Lembang Floating Market is to maintain and improve the customer experience obtained by visiting tourists because this strategy will have a positive effect on tourist satisfaction and loyalty in the future. Abstract

Community service activities are one of the main responsibilities of lecturers as educators in the university environment. This community service aims to provide knowledge and improve the ability to guide educational tourism related to woven songket to enhance the promotion of SMEs through tourism. The community service activities are conducted at the SME "Rumah Songket Eka Halaban." The achieved results include an increase in participants' knowledge and skills in communicating with tourists, the hospitality of employees when tourists visit, and the application of the seven charms at Rumah Songket Eka Halaban. With these improved abilities, it is expected to boost the promotion of SMEs through tourism. The limitation of this community service activity lies in participants who are not yet accustomed to dealing with tourists with diverse backgrounds and characteristics. To be more effective in guiding educational tourism, considerable practice is needed. Similar community service activities can be conducted periodically by SMEs to familiarize themselves with dealing with tourists. With enhanced abilities, the training participants, including the owner of SME Rumah Songket Eka Halaban, hope that educational tourism activities related to woven songket can improve even further in the future.

Abstract

Meluasnya pemanfaatan hutan mangrove sebagai usaha tambak udang perlu mendapatkan perhatian dikarenakan hutan mangrove berfungsi untuk untuk menjaga kualitas air muara dan pesisir pantai, habitat bagi berbagai jenis ikan, udang, kepiting dan burung pantai.  Pengalihan fungsi lahan mangrove terjadi karena masyarakat pemilik lahan tidak merasakan manfaat ekonomi dari hutan mangrove. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan pada Desa Wisata Green Talao Park bertujuan untuk memanfaatkan wisata edukasi berbasis konservasi untuk mencapai pariwisata berkelanjutan sebagai alternatif kegiatan ekonomi bagi masyarakat sekitar. Kegiatan pengabdian secara umum dilakukan dengan metode: koordinasi dengan Pokdarwis, survey lokasi,  persiapan bibit mangrove, koordinasi sebelum penanaman, penanaman bibit mangrove, aksi bersih pantai. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah bertambahnya lahan hutan mangrove, mahasiswa yang terlibat mendapatkan pengalaman yang menyenangkan dengan menerapkan teori tentang pariwisata berkelanjutan, pembuatan paket wisata edukasi berbasis konservasi hutan mangrove oleh pengelola Desa Wisata Green Talao Park.

Abstract

Pengabdian ini ditujukan untuk meningkatkan strategi pemasaran produk di era digitalisasi. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan berupa pelatihan tentang branding strategy pada UMKM Batik Rang Minang Padang Panjang. Peserta yang hadir pada pengabdian ini bukan hanya dihadiri oleh anggota UMKM Batik Rang Minang, tetapi juga dihadiri oleh beberapa UMKM lainnya dari kota Padang Panjang. Kegiatan dilaksanakan selama satu hari pada Tanggal 26 Desember 2022. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah metode ceramah dan tanya jawab, metode demonstrasi serta metode presentasi. Pelatihan dilakukan dengan lima tahap yang meliputi pembukaan Pembukaan dan Penjelasan tentang Pelatihan Pemasaran Produk, pemaparan materi dengan ceramah dan tanya jawab, demonstrasi, presentasi hasil dan evaluasi. Selama kegiatan berlangsung, para anggota UMKM sangat antusias mendengarkan materi yang dipaparkan dan mempraktekkan materi penyusunan kalimat copywriting yang benar dan mempresentasikan didepan anggota UMKM lainnya. Hasil dari pengabdian ini para pelaku UMKM memiliki kemampuan untuk menyusun strategi pemasaran/promosi yang baik di era digital dan mampu meningkatkan kualitas konten media sosial yang telah dipilih yang dijadikan sarana pemasaran produk sehingga dapat menguasai pasar dan mampu bersaing dengan para competitor.

Abstract

In this research, the objectives to be achieved are certainly in line with the problems discussed. Based on the problems described previously, the aim of this research is to analyze the interests of tourists visiting the Bukittinggi Jam Gadang tourist area, to analyze the performance of the management of the Bukittinggi Gadang Jam tourist area, to design a development strategy based on tourist satisfaction with the performance of tourism products in the tourist area. Bukittinggi jam gadang This research is expected to be an input for managers in creating new innovations that can increase the satisfaction of tourists visiting the Bukittinggi gadang jam tourist area. This research uses a quantitative approach to examine the factors that influence tourist satisfaction in the Bukittinggi Jam Gadang tourist area. This aims to determine the right strategy to increase tourist visits. Indicators that influence the satisfaction of tourists visiting the Jam Gadang Bukittinggi tourist area, ranked from the most significant, are attractiveness, variety of activities, cleanliness, comfort, security, ease of registration, convenience of public toilets, ease of access to the location, friendliness of employees, attitude of souvenir sellers. , price of admission. The performance of tourism products does not exceed the level of interest of visiting tourists. It was concluded that there was dissatisfaction with tourists. The strategy for developing tourism products in the Bukittinggi Jam Gadang tourist area is in accordance with the focus quadrants that have been determined in the discussion.

Abstract

Al-Hakim Padang Mosque has the main function as a place of prayer for Muslims, but now it is also being used as a tourist destination. The phenomenon of utilizing the Mosque as a tourist destination needs to be studied so that the Jam'ah of the Mosque who are praying is not disturbed and the Tourism Attraction can be managed. This research aims to identify the Tourism Attraction of Al-Hakim Mosque in Padang City for tourists who have visited. This research uses qualitative methods with conclusions in the form of descriptive results. Data analysis refers to the Miles model with data reduction and narrative data presenting. Data collection was made by using observation, documentation, and interviews with 15 informants with details, 10 tourists, 1 manager of the Al-Hakim Mosque, 1 parking attendant of the Al-Hakim Mosque, 2 local street peddlers around the Al-Hakim Mosque. The results of this study showed that the Padang AlHakim Mosque has a tourist attraction in terms of location, spiritual activities, beach views, facilities, and mosque architecture.

Abstract

In the last 10 years the development of tourist travel trends has been marked by the emergence of motivation and patterns of new travel, towards alternative or special interest tourism. Spiritual tourism is a new trend in the world of tourism which tends to increase.This paper uses the documentation method. The focus in this paper is to seek the contribution of spiritual tourism to the Balinese economy. located at Tirta Empul Temple, Gianyar Regency, Bali Province.The results of this paper show the direct economic benefits of spiritual tourism in Tirta Empul are the income received by business unit owners, inns and travel agents. The indirect economic benefits of spiritual tourism in Tirta Empul are workers and suppliers who work in tourism businesses and services in the area. The continued economic benefit of spiritual tourism in Tirta Empul is expenditure by workers who work in the area of the tourist attraction.

Abstract

Literasi digital dan penggunaan sosial media sangat populer tingkat penggunaannya terutama dalam pembuatan konten kreatif. Konten digital mempunyai aspek naratif dan aspek sinematografi. Hal ini menjadi penting untuk diberikan dalam bentuk pelatihan kepada siswa siswi SMA Negeri 1 Pariangan Kabupaten Tanah Datar mengenai cara pembuatan film pendek. Pengabdian ini dilakukan untuk melatih dan memperkenalkan kepada siswa siswi dalam membuat film pendek sesuai dengan kearifan lokal berupa video dan menambah kreatifitas siswa siswi dibidang perfilman melalui media digital dalam perspektif teknik. Kegiatan pelatihan ini meliputi pelatihan praproduksi, pelatihan produksi, dan pelatihan pasca produksi. Pelatihan tahap praproduksi yang dilakukan adalah mencari konsep konten yang akan dibuat dengan mencari ide dan penentuan objek. Pelatihan tahap produksi adalah proses untuk melakukan shooting, dan materi yang diberikan tentang bagaimana tata cara menyutradarai film pendek, pengambilan gambar yang baik. Pelatihan tahap praproduksi adalah proses editing dari gambar yang sudah diambil dan menghubungkan tipe shotnya sehingga menjadi satu video film dengan menggunakan aplikasi editing hingga menjadi sebuat film pendek. Hasil yang diperoleh dari pelatihan ini sangat memuaskan dan mencapai target. Film pendek yang sudah mereka buat mampu dikerjakan dan bersaing dengan Kabupaten dan Kota se Sumatera Barat.

Abstract

Community-Based Tourism is an approach to tourism development that involves the active participation of local communities as the main actors in planning, managing, and utilizing tourism business results. This study aims to examine effective management strategies in managing community-based tourism to encourage local economic empowerment. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative study with a case study approach in Kubu Gadang Tourism Village, West Sumatra Province. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and interviews. The results of the study indicate that management strategies involving community capacity training, clear role divisions, and collaboration with external parties (government and private sector) are able to increase community income and strengthen the village economic structure. The implications of this study indicate that good management is the key to the success of community-based tourism in creating inclusive and sustainable economic development.

Abstract

Nagari Tuo Pariangan is an area in West Sumatra that maintains Minangkabau traditions. This area is believed to be the place where the Minangkabau civilization began. The unique geographical condition is an added value for Nagari Tuo Pariangan to become one of the priority tourism destinations in Tanah Datar Regency. This research aims to evaluate tourism development in the village based on the CBT stage framework prepared by the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) and uses a qualitative approach. Based on the study's results, community-based tourism development in Nagari Tuo Pariangan can be categorized as a developing CBT because it almost fulfils every stage of development in CBT, even though each stage in community-based tourism development is not fully optimized, and there is still much to be addressed.  The development stage of CBT implementation in Nagari Tuo Pariangan is at the stage of market demand and marketing strategy. The stage that has not been carried out at this time is monitoring and evaluation. This study can show the advantages that make it an example for other regions and the shortcomings in optimizing Nagari Tuo Pariangan tourism.
