Abstract

This classroom action research was designed to improve the capabilities of primary school teachers' in applying simple experimenta-tions in science learning. This three cycles study was held in class III of a public primary school in Makassar Muicipality. Data were collected by observation, interviews, and discussion, and then analyzed by percentage in the end of each cycle. The results indicated that the teachers' capabilities seemed to be increased in planning experimentations, in designing work-sheets, and in guiding pupils' practices.

Abstract

Peningkatan kualitas Pendidikan di era disrupsi secara signifikan berpengaruh pada peningkatan kompetensi guru. Kompetensi melaksanakan evaluasi secara daring menjadi salah satu kompetensi yang dibutuhkan untuk mengontrol kualitas pembelajaran daring. Guru perlu menguasai berbagai macam aplikasi berbasis tes dan penugasan online untuk dapat menyesuaikan penggunaan aplikasi dengan kebutuhan evaluasi. Keterbatasan pemahaman guru terhadap aplikasi berbasis tes dan penugasan online menjadi kendala pelaksanaan evaluasi pembelajaran daring untuk ranah afektif, kognitif dan psikomotor. Pelaksanaan kegiatan Pelatihan di KKG merupakan salah satu upaya yang dapat dilakukan dalam mengoptimalkan kompetensi guru mengevaluasi pembelajaran daring. Kegiatan pelatihan dilaksanakan dengan 3 tahapan utama, yakni pendahuluan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi (hasil). Pendahuluan dilakukan dengan pendekatan dan sosialisasi untuk menjalin kerjasama dengan pihak mitra (KKG). Pelaksanaan dilakukan dengan mempertimbangkan protokol kesehatan dan kebutuhan guru. Pelatihan secara langsung dilaksanakan dengan pemberian materi pelatihan secara bertahap dan membagi peserta kedalam 4 kelompok belajar. Peningkatan kompetensi guru dalam mengevaluasi pembelajaran daring menjadi fokus utama pelaksanaan evaluasi. Hasil evaluasi menujukkan bahwasanya terjadi peningkatan kompetensi guru dalam mengevaluasi pembelajaran daring didasarkan pada peningkatan pemahaman guru terhadap menggunakan berbagai aplikasi berbasis tes dan penugasan online.

Abstract

This research aims at studying the implementation of School Based Management (SBM) that has been implemented both in the Elementary Schools and Junior High Schools, and proposing a model on how School Based Management is institutionalized at a university. The implementation will be focused on three pillars of SBM: school management, effective teaching, and community participation. The result of the research shows that the implementation of SBM at Elementary schools and Junior High Schools still need serious improvement. The understanding on School Based Management based on its three pillars at university (LPTK) is various and still needs socialization to the leaders and lectures. The initial phase is arranged thourgh five steps: socialization, training, workshop, internship, and mentoring, Supporting products of the SBM implementation that have become a guidance book and a reference book may be modified. Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of Total Quality Management (TQM) at SMP Islam Athirah 1 Kajaolalido in Makassar city on aspects of the plan, implementation, and achievement. The study is a qualitative approach with an evaluation type. The subjects of the study were the director, the principal, and the teacher of SMP Islam Athirah 1 Kajaolalido in Makassar city. Data were collected by employing interview, observation, and documentation. Based on the evaluation being implemented, the assessors concluded that: 1) in arranging the plan, SMP Islam Athirah 1 Kajaolalido in Makassar city had implemented TQM characteristics; 2) in the implementation aspect, SMP Islam Athirah 1 Kajaolalido in Makassar city had implemented TQM characteristics as well basically; 3) in achievement aspect, SMP Islam Athirah 1 Kajaolalido in Makassar city had achieved the objectives of the implementation of TQM. It can be seen from various academic and non-academic achievements obtain by the students. Moreover, the level of satisfaction from the parents as the external customers has also improved. However, teachers as the internal customers have yet to obtained significant impact from the implementation of TQM in SMP Islam Athirah 1 Kajaolalido in Makassar city.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the students scientific attitude between students who followed science learning by applying the society technology science approach and conventional learning approach. This type of research included quasi-experimental research with a non-equivalent post-test only control group design. In this research paper involved 52 students of 5th grade of SD Inpres Andi Tonro in the academic year 2018/2019. Sample were chosen by using technic of simple random sampling and determination of the sample is based on the use of the formula Slovin. Data on scientific attitudes of students were collected by questionnaire. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical analysis techniques (separated variance t-test). The results of this study described that the students scientific attitude of the experimental class (using the society technology science approach) with an average score of 123.00 is classified as a very high category while the students scientific attitude of the control class (conventional learning approach) with an average score of 108.73 is classified as high category. There was significant difference in students' scientific attitudes in the group of students who learned using society technology science approach compared to the group of students who learned using the conventional learning.

Abstract

Mitra Program Kemitraan Komunitas (PKM) ini adalah guru SD yang tergabung dalam KKG gugus I Kec.Palangga Kab.Gowa. Masalahnya adalah: (1) mitra belum memiliki pemahaman yang memadai dalam merancang evaluasi pembelajaran daring, (2) mitra belum memiliki pemahaman yang memadai tentang aplikasi berbasis tes dan penugasan online yang dapat digunakan untuk evaluasi pembelajaran daring di SD, dan (3) mitra perlu menyesuaikan pelaksanaan evaluasi pembelajaran secara daring untuk siswa SD. Metode yang digunakan adalah: ceramah, demonstrasi, diskusi, tanya jawab, dan mitra pendamping. Hasil yang dicapai adalah (1) mitra memiliki pemahaman yang memadai dalam merancang evaluasi pembelajaran daring, (2) mitra memiliki pemahaman yang memadai tentang aplikasi berbasis tes dan penugasan online yang dapat digunakan untuk evaluasi pembelajaran daring di SD, dan (3) mitra dapat menyesuaikan pelaksanaan evaluasi pembelajaran secara daring untuk siswa SD. Berdasarkan hasil yang dicapai maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa melalui PKM pemberdayaan aplikasi berbasis tes dan penugasan online memberikan manfaat bagi guru (mitra) dalam merancang dan melaksanakan evaluasi pembelajaran daring di SD

Abstract

This research conducted of the problems found in elementary school related to writing skills, there are still some students who have difficulty in writing narrative essays. The purpose of this research is to know the description of flashcard media implementation, to know the description of students narrative essay writing skills, and to determine the effect of using flashcard media on narrative essay writing skills of fifth grade elementary school students of UPT SDN Unggulan Bontomanai. The type of research conducted in this research is quantitative experimental with a pretest-posttest control group design, with pretest, treatment, and posttest stages. . The population and sample in this study were fifth grade students of UPT SDN Unggulan Bontomanai, Bontomarannu District, Gowa Regency with a total of 54 students and determined by simple random sampling technique with a sample of 48 students. The data were using the writing skills test, observation sheets and documentation. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential analysis. The results of the descriptive analysis showed that the use ofmedia flashcard at the first meeting was sufficient with a percentage of 64% and at the second meeting it went very well with a percentage of 89%. The improvement of students' narrative writing skills in the experimental group was 42% and the control group was 4%. The results of inferential analysis used independent sample t-test showed a probability value of 0.00 < significance level of 0.05 and T count of 5.675 > Ttable of 2.012. So it can be concluded that there is a effect on the use of flashcard media on the narrative essay writing skills of the fifth grade students of UPT SDN Unggulan Bontomanai, Bontomarannu District, Gowa Regency.

Abstract

Kegiatan pelatihan ini memfasilitasi para peserta akan ikut berlatih menyusun instrumen asesmen berorientasi HOTS mulai analisis kompetensi, mengembangkan indikator, menyusun kisi-kisi dan kartu soal yang bernuansa HOTS. Karena luasnya ruang lingkup HOTS itu sendiri, maka pelatihan dipfokuslan pada aspek berpikir kritis, kreativitas, dan problem solving (pemecahan masalah). Pelatihan mengadopsi pendekatan I C A R E (Introduction, Connection, Application, Reflexion, Extension). Target luaran yang diharapkan adalah para peserta akan memiliki satu contoh perangkat instrumen asesmen bernuansa HOTS yang bisa diaplikasikan pada proses belajar sehari-hari. Rencana kegiatan akan dibagi dalam dua tahapan: Tahap Pertama; pemberiam materi dari nara sumber berupa: (a) pengembangan instrumen asesmen bernuansa HOTS, sesuai dengan tuntutan kurikulum, (b) pemahaman tentang Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS), dan langkah-langkah penyusunan kisi-kisi dan kartu soal. Tahap kedua, workshop langsung mempraktekkan pengembangan perangkat asesmen berorientasi HOTS. Berdasarkan paparan, temuan dan pembahasan hasil pelaksanaan PKM maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa bahwa soal-soal yang dibuat para guru belum begitu maksimal memenuhi standar HOTS Sehingga diperlukan untuk terus berlatih untuk lebih mengenali berbagai bentuk soal HOTS.
