Abstract

Pembelajaran Fisika yang di terapkan di SMP Negeri 1 Puhpelem belum mengunakan bahan ajar berbasis discovery yang mengarahkan siswa belajar mandiri dan rendahnya kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi. Penelitian dan pengembangan tahap awal ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Mengetahui langkah-langkah mengembangkan modul IPA Fisika berbasis discovery untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa. 2) Mengetahui kelayakan validator dan respon siswa pada kelas kecil menggunakan modul fisika berbasis discovery pada materi pokok cahaya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi siswa. Metode penelitian dan pengembangan menggunakan Research and Development (R&D), model penelitian dan pengembangan menggunakan 4D Thiagarajan dengan tahap: define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Sampel penelitian yaitu kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 1 Puhpelem. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket, lembar validasi dan soal pretest dan post test. Analisis hasil angket, kelayakan dan hasil observasi dianalisis dengan diskriptif kualitatif berdasarkan skor kriteria.  Hasil penelitian: 1) Modul pembelajaran fisika telah didesain dengan tahapan pembelajaran discovery  yaitu:  Stimulasi, Identifikasi Masalah Pengumpulan Data, Pengolahan Data, Verifikasi dan Kesimpulan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berfikir tingkat tinggi siswa. 2) Modul memenuhi kriteria layak dari hasil validasi ahli media. Nilai rata-rata dari validator 1 sebesar 3,67 dan validator 2 sebesar 3,72 sehingga modul dikatan sangat layak. Dilihat dari hasil respond an keterbacaan modul melalui kelas kecil mendapatkan presentase sebesar 8,57 % yang dapat disimpulkan bahwa odul tergolong dalam kategori sangat layak.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan hasil belajar IPA fisika dengan menggunakan metode inkuiri terbimbing berbantukan modul. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Eksperiment dengan desain One-Group Pretest-Postest Design . Populasi penelitian ini adalah kelas VIII SMPN 1 Puhpelem, dan sampel yang digunakan yaitu siswa kelas VIII A yang berjumlah 24 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu modul dan soal tes pilihan ganda yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Teknik analisis data yaitu analisis kuantitatif melalui perhitungan N-Gain untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dalam ranah kognitif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode pembelajaran inkuiri terbimbing dengan berbantukan modul dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Hasil belajar yang diteliti yaitu kategori C1 sampai C4. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan hasil belajar tertinggi terdapat pada kategori C2. Secara keseluruhan hasil belajar diperoleh N-Gain sebesar 0,67 dengan kategori sedang.

Abstract

The learning process can be achieved when there is a change in students' understanding of concepts in a better direction. These changes can be realized by the existence of an alternative learning model. The purpose of this study was to analyze the conceptual changes experienced by students on the material of rotational dynamics through the learning cycle 6E learning model. This research is a type of qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The research results obtained are an increase in understanding of student concepts based on the results of the analysis of the pre-test post-test answers and student observation in carrying out learning. The tendency of students shows students A and B in the level of change is in complementation, students C and D are in construction, students E and F are in revision, and students G and H do not experience conceptual change or no conceptual change.

Abstract

Creative Thinking Skill is one of the abilities that must be mastered by students. Based on research 7 Junior High School in Ponorogo Regency, it was found that the Creative Thinking Skill indicators was on average 33,5% in the less category. Creative Thinking skill can be measured by tests or non-tests. This study aims to develop STEAM based Creative Thinking Skill tests instrument integrated with Local Wisdom that is valid acording to experts and reliable. The development prosedure used the ADDIE model. The research design used a pre-experiment. Data analysis was using a decriptive quantitative approach in the form of N-gain. Aiken index to analyze the validity of instrument. The result test instruments has a validity of 0,88 with a valid category. The reability of the test was 0,81 and the difficulty level of the questions was 4 items in the easy category and 3 items in the medium category. The significance of the correlation of 3 questions is very significant level and 4 questions are significant level. The integration of Local Wisdom to instrument is expected be able to develop student’s Creative Thinking Skill as to give birth various ideas and progress of the Pancungan Pottery Industry.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an instrument for understanding kinematics concepts. Instrument development was carried out by adapting the steps (1) Writing specifications and Writing concept understanding test questions (2) Reviewing and improving concept understanding test questions (3) Implementing test questions, (4) Interpreting the results of concept understanding test analysis. The material, construction and language aspects have been declared appropriate by experts. The test was tested on students who had taken basic physics and had teaching/field work experience. Based on the results of trials using Iteman, information was obtained that thirty questions on the concept understanding test were reliable, but six questions were declared invalid. The results of the software analysis also indicate that invalid questions tend to have poor power discrimination and distracting questions below 5%.
