Abstract

This research aims to investigate the influence of Project-Based Learning (PjBL)- Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) on Students' Creative Thinking Skills. The research method was quasi-experiment using a nonequivalent control group design. Samples were taken using purposive sampling technique from two of 11th-grade science classes as an experimental and a control groups. This study used a test instrument of creative thinking skills. Research data were analyzed using SPSS and Microsoft Excel software. Hypothetical test results were assessed using independent sample t-test, obtained sig value (2-tailed) = 0.01 indicating sig value < 0.05. According to statistical analysis, there is a significant difference between the control class and the experiment class. The n-gain value was obtained with a score of 0.59 (a medium category). This result shows that the application of PJBL-STEM can improve students' creative thinking skills in the static fluid topic (Pascal law).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji inisiatif lingkungan pada manajemen laba. Manajemen laba yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah manajemen laba akrual dan manajemen laba riil. Manajemen laba akrual diproksikan dengan nilai absolut diskresioner akrual (Kothari) dan manajemen laba riil diproksikan dari penjumlahan nilai standar variabel CFO,PROD dan DISEXP. Inisiatif Lingkungan diukur melalui pengungkapan standar GRI 3.1, pengungkapan lingkungan sebagai indikator. Sampel yang digunakan adalah 80 perusahaan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode tahun 2010-2014, dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Sampel kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil analisis ini menunjukkan bahwa inisiatif lingkungan tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap manajemen laba akrual. Selanjutnya, inisiatif lingkungan berpengaruh negatif terhadap manajemen laba riil.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan media pembelajaran Virtual Physics Lab (ViPhyLab) dalam Praktikum Hukum Kirchhoff. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode Research and Development (R&D) menurut Sugiyono, dengan subjek penelitian ini adalah 3 validator untuk mengetahui kelayakan media ViPhylab dan 16 siswa kelas XI MIPA SMA Al-Fath Cilegon yang digunakan untuk mengetahui tanggapan siswa terhadapa media ViPhyLab. Hasil penelitian menyatakan kelayakan media ViPhyLab hasil pengembangan yaitu sebesar 87,45% dengan kategori sangat layak dan tanggapan siswa terhadap media ViPhyLab menyatakan sebanyak 90,4% siswa menanggapi media ViPhyLab dengan kategori sangat baik.

Abstract

It is common among students to develop their skills while studying, and it demands educators improve their learning quality. Development of an Advanced Virtual Physics Laboratory (Adphylab) in the Geiger-Muller Counter practicum to facilitate students' science process skillsĀ in the Physics Education of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University. The research method used is research and development (R&D) with the Rowntree development model. Adphylab in the Geiger muller counter practicum has four menus, including insight, design, time for action, and a summary called WaRa-WiRi which can be accessed easily via the web. The results of the due diligence by material experts at the Adphylab practicum Geiger muller counter obtained a percentage score of 94% with very feasible criteria, and the results of the due diligence by media experts obtained a percentage value of 96% with the very feasible category. The results of the students' limited test responses to Adphylab in the Geiger Muller Counter practicum obtained a score percentage of 90% in the very feasible category.
