Abstract

Kondisi geografis di desa Babelan, Kabupaten Bekasi, Jawa Barat yang memiliki banyak sawah yang luas di tengah perkotaan mengakibatkan petani kesulitan mengaliri aliran sawah lantaran saluran irigasi yang kecil serta jarak sawah dengan sungai utama cukup jauh. Keluhan para petani adalah air yang dialiri tidak sebanding dengan harga bahan bakar lantaran air yang tercemar, lalu adanya endapan lumpur serta sempitnya saluran air tersebut yang mengakibatkan warga lebih sering mengambil air dengan cara turun langsung ke saluran air di pinggir jalan tersebut namun itu sangat menyulitkan warga. Pompa Air Tenaga Surya dapat menjadi solusi dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan pada sawah di daerah Babelan tersebut. Karena selain ramah lingkungan, biaya yang di keluarkan lebih sedikit dibanding menggunakan pompa bahan bakar fosil bahkan hampir tidak mengeluarkan biaya karena menggunakan sinar matahari hanya mengeluarkan biaya saat ada kendala pada alat.

Abstract

In this study, the camshaft repair process was carried out on motorbikes with the aim of restoring the profile of the camshaft that had been worn out, so that the valve opening and closing time was again in accordance with the cycle of a four stroke engine. From the results of the performance test (dyno test) of the standard camshaft, the maximum power produced is a standard camshaft with a power of 10.05 HP at 8654 rpm and 10.70 N.m of torque at 5772 rpm. Reconditioned camshaft with 10.07 HP of power and 15.46 N.m of torque at 3982 rpm. The mechanical properties produced by the Camshaft are the results of standard Camshaft testing 209 HBN, Reconditioned Camshaft 198.5 HBN, Reconditioned Camshaft (HT) 212.66 HBN. Then for the metallographic test results of standard camshafts and reconditioned camshafts, they both show the structure of graphite nodules surrounded by ferrite in a pearlite matrix

Abstract

The hole machine is a punching machine that is specially designed to punch holes in plastic bags, this machine is driven by a cylinder. Fixture is a tool that serves to direct one or more cutting tools in a position that is in accordance with the process of working on a product. After designing the fixture, the size of the fixture is 10mm thick, 900mm long, and 800mm wide. And the material used is multiplex, because this material has a smooth surface so it will not damage the texture of the plastic.

Abstract

In recent years, the use of polymers has increased in various industries. Not only in the home industry, but polymers have also played a big role in the automotive industry. Examples of polymer applications in the automotive industry include the use of headers on mirrors and vehicle plates. There have been many studies that reveal the properties of polymers that can be equated with metal materials. In addition, the availability of polymers is considered easier to obtain than metal materials. It's just that there is still a need for more research in this regard. Plastics processing involves many of the same operations as metal production. Plastics can be molded, poured, and shaped as well as processed by machining and joining. Plastic raw materials are often found in the form of pellets or powder. Plastics are also available in the form of sheets, plates, bars and pipes. Plastic processing methods can be done by: extrusion, injection molding, casting, thermoforming, blow molding and others. Injection molding is one way that can be done in producing components from plastic materials. The injection molding machine consists of several parts, such as: nozzle, hopper, heating elements, mold and piston. After 600 minutes of manufacturing process using several processes such as facing process, contouring process, finishing process, drilling process, and programming process, a molding is produced. spoon for home industry scale. The cost of making 1 molding spoon is Rp. 4,000,000.00 and the cost of purchasing materials is Rp. 184,000.00. So that the total cost of making spoon molding is Rp. 4,184,000.00.

Abstract

ASTM A106 pipe is a type of low carbon steel pipe used for high temperature applications (up to a temperature of 750 degrees F). This type of pipe is resistant to corrosion and can withstand high fluid pressure, so it is often used in the industrial world to convey water, oil and other oils. The purpose of this study was to compare the heat input resulting from variations in welding current to the hydotest, microstructure and tensile test. The method used uses Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) welding with current variations of 70 A, 90 A and 110 A with a Hydrostatic Test pressure of 450 Psi. The results showed that the greatest heat input occurred at a current variation of 110 A with a heat input of 1,349.05 J/mm and the lowest heat input occurred at a welding current of 70A of 1,229.72 J/mm. The results of the microstructure test with variations in GTAW welding currents formed the Ferrite-Pearlite phase as a constituent of the microstructure. The results of the tensile test on A106 steel pipe with variations in welding currents of 70A, 90A, and 110A, the highest tensile strength occurred at a welding current of 110A with a tensile strength of 46.7 N/mm and the lowest tensile strength at a current of 70A with a tensile strength of 43.85. Whereas for the Hydrostatic test with class # 150, the pressure is 1.5x design, so the maximum pressure reaches 450 Psi is carried out on 3 pipes with GTAW welding variation 3 with welding currents of 70A, 90A and 110A, declared successful because no leaks occurred during the test.

Abstract

Over time, the performance of a motorcycle decreases due to our age or behavior when driving a vehicle. Therefore, there is a need for a solution to restore or even improve the performance of the motorcycle without having to replace the engine. One way to improve the combustion process is to improve the ignition system to improve engine performance. The components of the ignition system that affect the combustion process include CDI, coils, spark plug cables, spark plug caps, and spark plugs. Changes in ignition system components need to be made to see the difference in power produced and how much impact and effect it will have if using aftermarket coil products. From the results of the analysis and tests that have been carried out by the author on the vespa px 150 scooter by comparing between the standard coil and the aftermarket coil regarding power, torque, and rpm obtained results, when using the aftermarket coil, it was found that the results of increasing torque in the 3rd gear speed up with a value of 12.99 and getting the results of increasing power and torque at the acceleration of gear 4 with values of 10.28 and 13.52 And KOil Aftermaret does not fully increase the power and torque on the Vespa PX 150 sccoter, because there is only an increase in power and torque at acceleration 3 and 4 which indicates the condition of the engine is already at greater revs.

Abstract

The chain is one of the components used to transfer power from the engine to the rear wheels. These components are needed to transmit power from the engine to the rear wheels. Chain components consist of inner and outer plates, bushes, pins and rollers. This study aims to determine how much load is needed to test the strength of the chain. The component that will be discussed is the Suzuki Shogun FL 125 RCD motorcycle chain. In this study using an analytical method, which uses equations based on previous research references. The results of the analysis show that the selected chain is roller chain no. 40, rear sprocket speed is 1225 rpm, front sprocket speed is 3470 rpm, chain speed is 6.8 m/s, chain force is 144.1 kg, chain length is 1470 mm, and the chain life is 1625 days or about 4.5 years.

Abstract

Telah dirancang sebuah alat untuk membuat mangkuk yang terbuat dari plastik yaitu Mold jenis core Cavity, desain mold menggunakan cad Inventor dengan memanfaatkan aplikasi molding pada software tersebut. Desain mold membuat part sebanyak 4 buah dengan tujuan untuk mengefesienkan waktu proses pencetakan. Material yang digunakan adalah Plastik Jenis PP denga spesifikasi Masaa Jenis 0,95 gr/cm3 = 0,95 x 10-3 gr/mm3 Panas spesifik rata-rata 1,4 – 2,5 KJ/Kg.K Penyusutan 0,6 %. Ukuran dari mangkuk diameter 150 mm, tinggi 65 mm dengan bentuk setengah bola. Bahan Material No.1.1730 dengan nama standarn Menurut standar AISI adalah AISI 1045 Menurut standar DIN adalah C 45 W sedangkan menutur standar JIS S45C. Volume mangkuk adalah V= 2296125 mm3. Dengan berat mangkuk 2 kg Sekali injeksi produk yang dibuat 4 part maka diperlukan volume material PP sebanyak 8725,2 mm3.

Abstract

Di era industri 4.0, perkembangan teknologi mendorong otomatisasi untuk meningkatkan efisiensi kerja. Salah satu tantangan di sektor manufaktur adalah perpindahan barang yang masih dilakukan secara manual, yang memakan waktu dan meningkatkan risiko keselamatan bagi pekerja.Sebagai solusi, dikembangkan robot pemindah barang otomatis berbasis mikrokontroler ESP32. Robot ini dilengkapi sensor dan remote control untuk memindahkan barang secara cepat dan efisien antar lini produksi. Robot ini dibuat menggunakan stainless steel (ferritic) yang kuat dan tahan lama. Untuk memastikan performanya, dilakukan simulasi menggunakan software Solidworks meliputi uji kekuatan, regangan, dan keamanan. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan robot mampu membawa beban hingga 100 kg dengan tingkat keamanan yang sangat tinggi (factor of safety 3297,6 N/m²). Dengan desain yang telah kami tentukan, robot ini diharapkan mampu meningkatkan produktivitas, mengurangi risiko kecelakaan kerja, dan mendukung implementasi teknologi industri 4.0 dalam perusahaan manufaktur.

Abstract

This practical work was carried out at PT Suzuki Indomobil Motor Plant Cikarang with a focus on the car body assembly process in the assembling section. The assembling process is an important stage in vehicle manufacturing, where components of various sizes (small, medium, and large parts) are systematically assembled to form a complete car structure. Assembly is carried out sequentially from one station to another using a conveyor system, and involves various techniques and standard operating procedures to ensure the quality of the final result. Through this activity, students can directly understand the working system of the automotive industry, assembly methods, and gain experience in a professional work environment.
