Abstract

The Qur'an mentions dakwah as ahsanu qawla, good words and deeds. In such a context, when the mission is communicated by a preacher, then he or she must have good ethics if he or she wants to preach or to communicate with his or her audience. In addition, in delivering the messages preachers should adjust to the circumstances and the environment where they are preaching. Therefore, ethics is very important in the process of propagation and communication activities. Because ethics is the standard values as reference of behaviour. Without a good communication in preaching, one is considered as rude. Therefore, a preacher must first have good ethics and communication.

Abstract

Virtual counseling platforms provide the ability to maintain connectivity between healthcare providers and their patients. Patients can quickly receive diagnoses, enabling faster and more accurate responses to any changes in their health. This article explains the implementation and therapeutic education phases in healthcare facilities, particularly hospitals and community health centers, using virtual counseling platforms in telemedicine programs through a literature review and a descriptive approach. The policy for the therapeutic education process in virtual counseling platforms in healthcare facilities is divided into eight stages: assessing educational needs, medical record-keeping, disease diagnosis, medical equipment safety, pain management, diet and nutrition, rehabilitation techniques, and verification of understanding received. There are five therapeutic education topics: patient-oriented, disease-oriented, patient safety-oriented, rehabilitation material, and prevention material. In the virtual counseling platform, healthcare providers implement seventeen implementation actions in the therapeutic education process based on the educational phases. First, in the Pre-Interaction Phase, the implementation actions include self-evaluation, setting the stages of virtual counseling therapeutic education, and creating a written plan according to established SOPs. Second, in the Orientation Phase, implementation actions include introducing oneself, scheduling meetings (contracting), building rapport and trust, initiating a conversation, and closing the introduction session. Third, in the Working Phase, implementation actions involve increasing the patients' understanding and awareness of themselves, developing independence competencies, therapeutic actions, conducting health education, collaboration, delegation, and observation. Fourth, in the Termination Phase, implementation actions include making temporary terminations, final terminations with evaluation of actions, and contracting for follow-up care and treatment outcomes.

Abstract

Religious communication in multicultural societies requires approaches that are both ethically sound and culturally sensitive. While da'wah efforts in Indonesia often emphasize textual or dogmatic methods, they frequently overlook the psychological dimensions of communication and the importance of local wisdom. This study addresses that gap by exploring how da'wah ethics and psychological principles can be integrated within the cultural framework of the Banjar community in South Kalimantan. Known for their strong Islamic values and traditions such as ba’iman (faith), ba’adab (civility), and ba’budaya (cultural identity), the Banjar people provide a relevant context for examining localized religious outreach. Employing a qualitative-descriptive approach with literature analysis, the study uses a humanistic communication framework that prioritizes empathy, respect, and psychological awareness in message delivery. The findings show that aligning da'wah with Banjar cultural values and emotional norms not only enhances message receptivity but also reduces resistance to religious messages. This integrated approach fosters deeper engagement, strengthens social cohesion, and makes religious communication more relevant to the lived experiences of the audience. The study contributes to the discourse on contextualized da'wah by proposing a model that respects both Islamic ethical principles and the cultural psychology of local communities.
