Abstract

In academics, lecturers who have good emotional intelligence and good service to students can do something good in their work situations. In dealing with dailywork routines, a lecturer must be able to perform well in harmony with the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. The purpose of this study was to analyze the emotional intelligence of lecturers in Management study program, Institute of Informatics and Business Darmajaya. The method in this study used descriptive quantitative with a sample of 42 lecturers of the management study program. The results of this studyindicate that the emotional intelligence in Management study program, Institute of Informatics and Business Darmajaya had an average score range of 151.9. It was in the vulnerable range of values 145.8 - 179.4 in the high category. It showed that thecomponent of emotional intelligence, namely self-awareness: being able to introspect oneself well into the high category. in Management study program, Institute of Informatics and Business Darmajaya who were committed to their work in intelligent emotions, for those who were emotionally intelligent was able to motivate themselves, motivate others and control their emotions, for those who have insight when making decisions, for those who empathize with understanding thepsychology of others and build and maintain good social relations.Keywords—Emotional Intelligence, Lecturer

Abstract

Study abroad at one of the partner universities of educational institution is important. A student exchange program is a program in which students can study in other countries include not only study abroad, but also various international trips, language courses and summer camps, which are aimed at gaining new knowledge in any field, as well as the practice of a foreign language. The methodology used in this study is a qualitative research that uses descriptive analytic method, which is a method that is not only limited to data collection, but includes data analysis and interpretation. Darmajaya is a private Institute that provide some international programs for students and stuff who want to go abroad. And by these programs the institute has increase accreditation B in 2019 year cause of it can achieve campus quality.Keywords: exchange programs, internation programs, descriptive analytic method, accreditation,high education, IIB darmajaya.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the performance improvement of female employees from the work from home and the work-life balance on the performance of female employees of PT. Perkebunan Nusantara VII. The number of samples was forty-five respondents using associative research methods. It looked for causal effects among the independent variables. They were work from home (X) and the moderating variable, namely the work-life balance (Z) to the dependent variable, namely the performance of female employees (Y). The method of data processing used the SmartPLS Ver.3 method. The result of this study showed that work from home had a significant effect on the performance of female employees of PT. Perkebunan Nusantara VII and the work-life balance moderated the effect of work from home on the performance of female employees and significantly. In other words, the work-life balance had a positive effect on the performance of female employees. Furthermore, the work-life balance factor was needed to encourage the relationship between the two, because the work-life balance in this case actually strengthened the effect of work from home on the performance of female employees of PT.
