Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of honesty values as a form of anti-corruption education in SD Negeri 01 Tengklik Karanganyar. The results showed that in Tengklik 01 Public Elementary School had carried out honesty values as a form of anti-corruption education. The anti-corruption values taught in Tengklik 01 Public Elementary School include the value of honesty, the value of discipline, the value of openness, and the value of responsibility. Inhibiting factors or constraints are: (1) lack of awareness of students, (2) there are still habits of corruptive behavior. There are several ways that can be used to overcome obstacles and efforts made in Anti-Corruption Education, namely: (1) exemplary, (2) habituation, (3) giving strict sanctions. (4) competitions and resource persons (5) increasing devotion.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to examine values in traditional games. Value is the weight or quality of good deeds contained in various things that are considered valuable, useful, and has benefits. From the results of the study, it can be concluded that there are character values in traditional games. These values include the values of discipline, dexterity, social, health, honesty, sportsmanship, cooperation, and hard work.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine a positive and significant relationship between parental learning assistance with thematic learning outcomes content of Citizenship Education for 5th-grade Elementary Schools Cluster 7 Ponjong Gunungkidul. This type of research is quantitative. The population of this research is the 5th-grade students of Ponjong Gunungkidul Elementary School Cluster 7 consisting of 4 schools and the total number of students is 84. Determination of the sample in this study using the determination of the number of samples from a particular population of Isaac and Michael for an error of 5% then obtained the number of samples is 69 students. The data collection technique used a questionnaire to determine the level of learning assistance from parents and documentation to find out student PTS learning outcomes. The results showed that there was a significant and positive relationship between parental learning assistance and the learning outcomes of 5th-grade students of the Ponjong Gunungkidul Cluster 7 Elementary School.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the differences in learning outcomes of PPKn subjects between scramble learning model classes and direct instruction model classes. This type of research is quasi-experiment. The results showed that the learning outcomes of PPKn subjects were taught using a higher scramble learning model while those taught using the direct instruction model were lower. The Z test results obtained Zhitung = 4,2790 and Ztable = 1,645. From the results of the Z test, it can be concluded that Zhitung> Ztable, means that there are differences in learning outcomes of PPKn Subjects between scramble learning model classes and direct instruction model classes. Based on the results of the Z test, it can be concluded that the scramble learning model is more influential than the direct instruction model on the learning outcomes of PPKn Subjects.

Abstract

Corruption has become a disease harmful to the nation, the education transformation is required in order to reduce the growing corruption. One of them by integrating anti-corruption education into a number of subjects Education Anti-corruption one can be applied in teaching Citizenship Education. Anti-corruption values taught in the learning process Citizenship Education includes the value of honesty, discipline values, values of openness, and the value of responsibility. On the implementation of the Anti-Corruption Education in Citizenship Education learning by means of the application in the vision and mission, school culture that includes a variety of behavioral activities of the school community, canteens honesty and discipline and responsibility. Some of the factors obstacles, such as lack of awareness of students, was their habit of corrupt behavior. There are several ways that can be used to overcome the barriers as well as the efforts made in the Anti-Corruption Education in Learning Civic Education, that is: exemplary, habituation, giving strict sanctions, competition and sources, increased faith.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to get better understanding about the implementation process of Tri-Nga to instill a sense of Nobel Character in Civic Education subject and student activities in implementing Tri-Nga to instill a sense of nobel character in Civic Education class. This is a type of qualitative research. The data of this study are gained from the activities of students who attend civic education class, which is implicitly delivering nobel character value. The instrument in this study is the research itself, which is supported by the interview guidelines, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this research refers to data analysis technique developed By Moleong. Data validity checking used is the degree of trust (credibility). The result of data analysis showed that the students have implemented nobel character by applying Tri-Nga theory in a good way. The development of nobel character was implemented in the Civic education class through cognitive moral approach, instillation a sense of value approach, and value clarification approach. Students’ activities in Tri-Nga implementation on Civic education class in which the students are aware of knowing it, realizing it and believing in it, would carried out the following moral values: 1). Possessing and developing tolerance, 2). Growing the self-discipline, 3). Developing work ethic, 4). Having a sense of responsibility, 5). Having a sense of being open to others, 6). Being able to think positively, 7). Developing self-potention, 8). Having togetherness and mutual cooperation, 9). Having mutual respect, and 10). Growing honesty.

Abstract

The demand of KKNI curriculum in the 21st century is about the equality of learning achievement covering attitudes and values, work ability, scientific mastery, authority and responsibility. For that, PGSD graduates of Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa University (UST) Yogyakarta are expected to be able to design the learning activities, which is in line with the development of science, and technology, which is on the same time, are able to bring Indonesian cultural value into it. The graduates’ competence are presented in their abilities to develop elementary school learning activities based on the Science Environment Technology and Society (SETS) and integrate local wisdom into it. The purpose of this research is to describe the skills of critical thinking of PGSD students in developing SETS-based learning integrated with local wisdom and also along with the indicators that appear in each skill aspect. This is a type of quantitative descriptive research with non-test data collection techniques, observation, and documentation. While the main instruments are in the form of Student Worksheet (LKM), the observation sheet towards the indicators of critical thinking skills. Data analysis techniques is done by using descriptive statistics interpretation through several answering criteria: very good, good, fair, poor, and very poor which is then the results are presented in the form of tables. The results showed that the average critical thinking ability of PGSD UST students was 69.24% with can be categorized in good criteria. Indicator of every critical thinking skills aspect has appeared, even though some targets of achievements have not been optimally gained yet.

Abstract

Abstract: Character is strongly influenced by the surrounding environment, the surrounding environment is able to influence good and bad characters in children. The family environment is a unit that is known for its very large role because the family has a very important function in the continuity of social life and the process of instilling values, especially during distance learning. This study aims to describe character education in the family environment during distance learning in fifth grade SD N Plumbon Tawangmangu. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data analysis techniques used data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions and verification. The results of the collected data show that: Parents in providing character education during distance learning are given by direct example and habituation of good behavior in everyday life. Supporting factors include the existence of a cellphone to communicate with parents and family members at home while working. Constraints for the busyness of the parents working, the teacher delivering the material monotonously, making the child not develop interest in learning and doing tasks, and the child's boredom makes it often play with friends and watch television for a long time so that they forget their obligations. Efforts to overcome obstacles the include using cellphones to communicate with family members at home, as well as providing good examples from parents and teachers. Abstrak: Karakter sangat dipengaruhi oleh lingkungan sekitarnya, lingkungan sekitar mampu memengaruhi karakter baik dan buruk pada anak. Lingkungan keluarga merupakan unit yang terkenal peranannya sangat besar karena keluarga mempunyai fungsi yang sangat penting dalam kelangsungan kehidupan bermasyarakat serta proses penanaman nilai terlebih disaat pembelajaran jarak jauh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pendidikan karakter di lingkungan keluarga selama pembelajaran jarak jauh pada siswa kelas 5 SDN Plumbon Tawangmangu. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil data yang terkumpul menunjukkan bahwa: Orang tua dalam memberikan pendidikan karakter selama pembelajaran jarak jauh diberikan dengan cara pemberian contoh secara langsung dan pembiasaan berperilaku baik di dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Faktor pendukung antara lain adanya handphone untuk berkomunikasi orang tua dengan anggota keluarga di rumah selama bekerja. Kendala yang dihadapi adalah kesibukan orang tua bekerja, guru menyampaikan materi secara monoton serta sering bermain bersama teman dan menonton televisi dengan waktu yang lama sehingga lupa dengan kewajibannya. Upaya untuk mengatasi hambatan antara lain memanfaatkan handphone untuk berkomunikasi dengan anggota keluarga yang berada di rumah, serta pemberian ketauladanan sdan contoh baik dari orang tua dan guru.

Abstract

This study is intended to increase the student’s achievement and process to excute the social studies learning withRole Playing approach.This study is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) implemented to 4th elementary students inSDN Nogosaren Gamping Sleman as the object of study. This study contains two cycles, starts from planning,implementation, monitoring, reflecting and improving. The data were collected by using learning achievement test,observations, and interviews. The data from learning achievement tests were analyzed by using the descriptivequantitative technique. The data from observations and interviews were analyzed by using the descriptive qualitativetechnique on the basics of the results of the observation and reflection.Findings suggest that by the Role Playingapproach implementation, the civic education can get its best result. The student’s score increases. It is proved bythe average score in each examination. At the first cycle, the average score is 69,43 and the second cycle is 74,90.

Abstract

This research is aims to describe the the role of peers in inculcating character education during pandemic in SDN Andong Boyolali. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data analysis technique used in this study was an interactive model from Miles and Huberman which consisted of several stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The data result show that: Peers provide a role for inculcating character education as an example of behavior, give support, and teaches social skills acquired in learning. Constraints for the role of peers in planting character education that is students who hang out with friend bad character, lack of facilities that support character cultivation, lack of communication between teachers and parents, and lacking lees in depht learning in the cultivation of character education. While factors that influence its success that is school environmental factors, family and society Efforts to overcome obstacles the role of peers in planting character education that is provide a persuasive approach, provide adequate facilities, increase cooperation between teachers and parents, provide knowledge and socialization about character education, and direct students to behave well
