Abstract

For more than two years corona pandemic has occured in our country and has caused learning process changed. Offline school activities can only be done in limited basis and even in some schools cannot be held and still have to do full online. Many problems have happened to students during distance learning that involved students psychosocial. This paper will research psychosocial threats that has occured to students during a pandemic and the important role of teachers in overcoming these threats. The research method used is qualitative research by analyzing and collaborative survey results from trusted organization and comission. From the the data reaserached obtained, it can be seen that there were some student psychosocial problems in distance learning, so that the role of the teacher in managing appropriate learning is very important where the teacher must be able to act as a designer that compile what content is taught, identify the student profile and to map the student's condition, as well as providing motivation and building communication with students. The teacher must in charges in the learning method implementation as a facilitator and provides digital literacy to students to counteract the negative impacts that can arise from prolonged use of gadgets

Abstract

The article was to analyse the teacher teaching performance, principal leadership, and teacher training at Senior High School 1 Tondon North Toraja District, to analyze the influence of the principal's leadership on the teaching performance of teachers, and the effect of teacher training on teacher teaching performance, and the influence of principal leadership and teacher training on teacher teaching performance. The researchers used a quantitative method with an associative research approach to causal relationships. The samples were obtained using saturated sampling (census). The data was obtained through a research instrument in the form of a questionnaire. The correlation analysis data showed that there was a positive effect of teacher training on teacher teaching performance at SMPN 1 Tondon, North Toraja Regency. The value of the derivation coefficient between the 2 variables was 0.850 or 85.0%. That was, the teacher training variable was able to explain the variation in teacher teaching performance variables 85.0%. The results of simple regression analysis showed that teacher training has a significant and positive effect on teacher teaching performance at SMPN 1 Tondon, North Toraja Regency. It means that if teacher training improves, teacher teaching performance will be increase. Keywords: Teachers’ Leadership,, Teacher Teaching Performance, School Leadership

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the readiness and difficulty of photographing and to improve research and publications of lecturers in Jakarta through lecturers at the Indonesian Christian University (UKI). Research is one of the indicators of the tridarma that must be carried out by lecturers throughout Indonesia, including lecturers at UKI. One proof of its performance is its publication in international and nationally reputable journals. Because research has a maximum dual effect and contributes to policy making in institutions. Allegedly there was a time when there were absolutely no lecturers who ran the administration of Academic Position. To become a superior university, one of the determining indicators is evidenced by the number of lecturers with the highest Academic Position. Data were obtained from secondary data and primary data as well as filling out questionnaires addressed to lecturers in the UKI environment. Data were collected from 102 respondents from 33 study programs. The results, which include lecturer research data and observations for the last four years from 2017 - 2020, show an increase in the number of publications in reputable and local international and national journals, although the results are comparable between the number of lecturers and publications. The backwardness of the publication of scientific journals of national and international repute can only be achieved if each lecturer conducts a scientific study and is published in accordance with the UKI Research and Community Service (LPPM) program, that each lecturer has the opportunity to conduct research twice a year, both independent research and research research group.

Abstract

Through the tagline “UKI HEBAT”, the Head of the University and his staff hope that educators, staff, and other workers, as well as students, understand what the purpose of their work plan is and make the character of UKI people become “HEBAT, and the Universitas Kristen Indonesia (UKI) becomes better. better than other universities. The background of this research is to see the influence of the tagline through the Psycholinguistics-Cybernetic model in providing a "self-image" of its workers and students and shaping their character to be "HEBAT". Psycholinguistics-Cybernetics is an interdisciplinary study, involving the disciplines of linguistics and psycho-cybernetics. The research sample is people in the UKI environment who had heard the tagline "UKI HEBAT" for at least 1 year. This research is quantitative research. Data was obtained by using a survey method using a questionnaire. This study used two variables, the independent variable in this study was the tagline of the Indonesian Christian University (UKI), "UKI HEBAT" which is symbolized by X. The dependent variable in this study was the awareness of the Indonesian Christian University (UKI) people on the tagline which is symbolized by Y. With the use of the tagline "UKI Great" it can be seen that there is a significant influence in character building among Indonesian Christian University (UKI) people. This result strengthens the Psycholinguistics-Cybernetics theory that character-forming speech is true.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain scientific information about the achievement and effectiveness of curriculum management in tertiary institutions. The research method used is evaluative research. Data collection uses techniques with field observations by looking directly at and observing sources directly with observation sheets in obtaining data. Data was also obtained by interview. Some of the sources were interviewed to ensure the correctness of the data during observation. Then the data is also obtained with instruments that are shared to view secondary data, and finally, to collect supporting document data. Methods of data analysis using descriptive quantitative and qualitative methods. The results obtained from the evaluation results obtained the value of each aspect, namely: 1) functionalization of learning curriculum management in tertiary institutions, namely 75.46 and is in the good category, 2) management of curriculum management is worth 100 and is in the very good category, 3) management students score 80 and in the good category. This has a positive impact on the development of educational management in the future.

Abstract

  This study aims to determine how much dedication and motivation contribute to the job productivity of teachers at SMPN in the Tana Toraja District. This research employed regression analysis and a quantitative methodology. The quantitative technique was chosen for this study since the specifications of this design are methodical, organized, and adequately structured from the beginning to the end of the research design process. This research had 75 participants from 3 UPT SMPNs in Tana Toraja. This study also employed a descriptive method to explain the issue or research findings better. The results of this study indicated that: (1) There Was a significant positive effect between teacher commitment on teacher work productivity in Public Middle Schools in Tana Toraja Regency. This showed that other factors significantly influenced the work productivity of teachers in Public Middle Schools in Tana Toraja Regency. (2) There was a significant favorable influence between teachers' work motivation on teacher work productivity in State Junior High Schools in Tana Toraja Regency. This showed that the higher the teacher's work motivation, the higher the teacher's productivity. (3) There was a significant positive effect between teacher commitment and teacher work motivation on teacher work productivity in Public Middle Schools in Tana Toraja Regency. This showed that the higher the teacher's commitment and work motivation, the higher the teacher's productivity.

Abstract

Internetworking merupakan jaringan computer yang melingkupi jaringan computer seluruh dunia, sehingga dapat menghubungkan semua jaringan computer yang ada. Saat ini pemanfaatan internet telah memberikan segalah bentuk kemudahan bagi kehidupan kita mulai dari bangun tidur sampai dengan tidur kembali. Dengan demikian seseorang didalam memanfaatkan internet, kuantitas dan kualitas tidur tidak menjadi lebih baik dan cukup.Penelitianini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada kaitan antara intensitas penggunaan internet dengan kuantitas tidur siswa. penelitian ini di laksanakan pada bulan oktober sampai desember 2021. Desain penelitian ini yaitu deskriptif analitik melalui pendekatan cros sectional. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah total sampling dengan jumlah sampel 200 responden.Hasil penelitian ini berdasarkan uji chi – square dengan melihat nilai fisher’s exact test diperoleh nilai p = 0,012 ( a < 0, 005 ) yang menunjukan bahwaada hubunganintensitas penggunaan internet dengan kuantitas tidur.Berdasarkan hasil peneltian ini dapat di simpulkan bahwa ada hubungan intensitas penggunaan internet dengan kuantitas tidur di masa pandemi covid-19 pada siswa kelas IX SMPN 2 Makale.Saran dalam penelitian ini adalah peneliti selanjutnya di harapkan dapat melakukan penelitian pada variabel lain seperti stress, lingkungan, diet obat-obatan dan subtansi lain latihan fisik, penyakit dan gaya hidup.

Abstract

Education is one of the spearheads of a country's success. In education, the teacher is the spearhead; for this reason, the teacher must continue to improve himself to innovate and be creative in presenting the material being taught so that learning objectives can be adequately achieved. One is in chemistry learning, which must motivate students to continue developing critical thinking skills. For this reason, through this thesis, the writer will examine "The Influence of Science Comic Learning Media with MethodsProblem Based Learning on the Effectiveness of Buffer Solution Learning for SMAN 1 Toraja Utara students. This type of research is correlational and aims to determine the effect of Science Comics and Method media Learning as the independent variable on the effectiveness of learning as the dependent variable. The population of this study were students in class XI of the Mathematics and Natural Sciences Department of SMAN 1 Toraja Utara for the academic year 2022/2023, which consisted of 3 classes with a total of 96 students. The sample was taken randomly with 77 students using the Solvin formula N = n/N (d)2 + 1.  The effect of comic and media methods problem-based learning on the effectiveness of learning using a questionnaire from student observations on teacher teaching activities. The data obtained were analyzed based on descriptive analysis.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap peningkatan semangat kerja guru, pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap hasil belajar siswa, dan pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah yang sesuai dengan kondisi sekolah terhadap peningkatan semangat kerja guru dan hasil belajar siswa. Metode kualitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini karena ini bersifat sosial dan melihat berbagai fenomena dan perilaku manusia. Adapun 13 orang informan dalam penelitian ini yaitu wakil kepala sekolah berjumlah 4 orang dan guru mata pelajaran 9 orang. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah SMAN 3 Tana Toraja memberikan dampak bagi peningkatan etos keguruan serta mendayagunakan seluruh komponen yang ada untuk mencapai tujuan yang diharapkan yang akan berdampak pula pada peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Gaya kepemimpinan yang paling sesuai dengan konteks di SMA Negeri 3 Tana Toraja ialah gaya kepemimpinan demokratis, konsultatif dan delegatif karena gaya kepemimpinan tersebut melibatkan seluruh guru dalam pengambilan dan pelaksanaan keputusan, mengedepankan komunikasi antara kepala sekolah dan guru dan memberikan kepercayaan kepada guru dalam melasanakan tugas dan tanggung jawab.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the effectiveness of blended learning management and online skills on student learning independence in the North Tapanuli region. The low learning interaction between teachers and students is caused by restrictions and forcing students to study independently. Therefore, teachers must develop competence by presenting the right model. Teachers have no other choice but to carry out good blended learning management so that learning activities continue. The method in this research is quantitative with the type of ex post facto research, namely comparative causal research. Data collection techniques by distributing instruments in the form of questionnaires to teacher respondents. The population in this study were all teachers in North Tapanuli Regency with a sample of 90 people from 4 schools that were spread out. Data analysis techniques are correlation and regression. The results of the study show that blended learning management and online skills have an impact on student learning independence. The effect of the blended learning model on students' online skills is 52.10%. Conclusion in increasing student learning independence, teachers use blended learning models to the fullest. However, this model must still be supported by the provision of online student skills.
