Abstract

Problems faced by students living in the Al-Kamilah foundation are a lack of ability to speak English and a lack of basic mathematical calculation skills. The service team decided to provide continuous training for 1 month. This continuity needs to be conducted to provide a deeper effect for the trainees so that the trainees can maximize the training material in preparation for facing the challenges of the industrial revolution era 5.0. Moreover, the material will be given by Pamulang university lecturers who are experienced in teaching mathematics and English. In addition, the determination of trainers is also based on the background of each trainer so that the trainer can provide teaching material in a way that is easily understood by the trainees so that the trainees can grasp concepts in mathematics and apply English speaking skills in everyday life. Provision of teaching materials continuously has not given maximum results as the service team expected. As a result, it was decided that training needs to be held longer and in-depth to have a significant influence on the mathematical and English language abilities of students who live in the Al-Kamilah foundation. Keywords:Basic Mathematic; English; Industrial Revolution 5.0

Abstract

With the drastic increase in competition in the future, the readiness of human resources is an essential factor that should not be ignored. One way to prepare qualified human resources is through education. However, for some students, the cost of education in Indonesia is still too expensive, so not a few students are unable to continue their education to higher education. A team of lecturers from Pamulang University, in collaboration with Myskat Empat Ribu (MER) organized a fundraising webinar. This webinar aims not only to raise funds to be distributed to orphaned students who are threatened with dropping out of university but also to provide information to scholarship hunters. This webinar results in scholarship hunters knowing other programs to study abroad besides scholarships. Apparently, not many students/ lecturers do not know the research/teaching assistanceship program.

Abstract

In this Community Service (PKM), the partners we are guiding are the people in the Cikasungka Village, Solear District, Tangerang City. Our target is a household retail business, mostly run by housewives. Based on our observations, we can identify several problems faced by partners, including: very minimal knowledge about management, accounting and information technology. This is based on the relatively low level of education of partners. Moreover, current knowledge as millennial children have about systems/applications such as Money Manager Apps. So the purpose of community service is to provide adequate knowledge to household scale retailers about simple accounting so that it can be applied in everyday life. It is hoped that with the knowledge they have, financial governance can be done better, so that cash flow runs properly and does not cause "losses" (due to mismanagement) in entrepreneurship. The Implementation Method used in carrying out this activity consists of 2 stages: preparation of training and training materials, guidance also assistance.  Keywords: Accounting, Retail Business, Household, Money Manager Apps

Abstract

This study aims to identify the application of English in mathematics teaching in Southeast Asia countries, focusing on trends across countries, methods, benefits, and challenges. This study employed a systematic literature review (SLR) method adapted from the PRISMA model, resulting in 17 relevant articles obtained from 141 articles in the Scopus and Web of Science databases.  The data analysis technique of this research applied thematic analysis to review, identify, and analyze the data.  The findings revealed that emerging research focused on learning policies and media, improving pedagogical practices, educational quality, and student learning outcomes. Malaysia is the country that has conducted the most research on this topic, with 11 articles, followed by the Philippines and Thailand, each with 2 articles. The majority of studies used qualitative methods and mixed methods. The benefits of using English in mathematics instruction included avoiding translation errors, supporting the implementation of global learning, enhancing soft skills and problem-solving abilities, supporting future career prospects, and improving the quality of learning with support from teachers and related parties. Some challenges faced include varying skills and readiness of teachers and students, the availability and utilization of resources, and the different impacts on students, especially those from diverse demographics. Additionally, cultural and linguistic gaps between English and students’ mother tongue, the rapid adoption of English policies in mathematics teaching, and necessary pedagogical adjustments also present challenges.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of multichannel marketing strategy implementation, human resource (HR) skills, and customer experience on increasing sales in small and medium enterprises (SMEs). Employing a quantitative research approach, data were collected from 190 SME representatives using a 5-point Likert scale and analyzed with Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS 3). The findings reveal that all three factors—multichannel marketing strategy, HR skills, and customer experience—have a positive and significant effect on sales performance. Among them, HR skills exhibit the strongest influence, followed by multichannel marketing strategy and customer experience. These results underscore the importance of integrating effective marketing strategies, enhancing HR competencies, and delivering superior customer experiences to drive sales growth in SMEs. The study provides valuable insights for SME practitioners and policymakers, emphasizing the need for a holistic approach to improving business performance through strategic investments in marketing, HR, and customer experience.
