Problems faced by students living in the Al-Kamilah foundation are a lack of ability to speak English and a lack of basic mathematical calculation skills. The service team decided to provide continuous training for 1 month. This continuity needs to be conducted to provide a deeper effect for the trainees so that the trainees can maximize the training material in preparation for facing the challenges of the industrial revolution era 5.0. Moreover, the material will be given by Pamulang university lecturers who are experienced in teaching mathematics and English. In addition, the determination of trainers is also based on the background of each trainer so that the trainer can provide teaching material in a way that is easily understood by the trainees so that the trainees can grasp concepts in mathematics and apply English speaking skills in everyday life. Provision of teaching materials continuously has not given maximum results as the service team expected. As a result, it was decided that training needs to be held longer and in-depth to have a significant influence on the mathematical and English language abilities of students who live in the Al-Kamilah foundation. ABSTRACTThis research aims to determine the effectiveness of using blended learning based on problem solving chat through Learning Management System of Pamulang University in improving problem solving skills. This study was included in the pre-experiment research using One-group pretest-posttest design. The research data were analyzed using a paired t-test with sample requirements normally distributed. It was followed by the effect size and power test to find out how much the effect was. The results of this research indicate that the use of blended learning based on problem solving chat has an effect on improving problem solving skills. The d value is obtained of 0.28 which is included in the moderate category, which means that the use of blended learning based on problem solving chat has an influence in improving the problem solving skills of students with moderate categories. So that the results of this research are expected to be a reference for educators to be able to apply blended learning based on problem solving chat when the learning objective is to improve students' problem solving skills.Keywords: blended learning; problem solving chat; problem solving skillsABSTRAKRiset ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan penggunaan blended learning berbasis problem solving chat melalui Learning Management System Universitas Pamulang dalam meningkatkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah. Hasil riset ini diharapkan dapat menjadi salah satu referensi bagi pendidik untuk dapat menerapkan pembelajaran blended learning berbasis problem solving chat ketika tujuan pembelajarannya untuk meningkatkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah peserta didik.Kata kunci: blended learning; problem solving chat; keterampilan pemecahan masalah

Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk: (1) mengembangkan model tes minat dan bakat dengan metode jaringan syaraf tiruan; (2) memperoleh hasil uji fungsionalitas tes minat dan bakat yang dikembangkan dengan model Jaringan Syaraf Tiruan (JST); dan (3) memperoleh hasil unjuk kerja dari pengujian tes minat dan bakat dengan model jaringan syaraf tiruan untuk memprediksi potensi siswa bidang robotika. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan. Subjek uji coba dibagi menjadi dua, uji coba secara terbatas pada 10 siswa dan uji coba secara luas sebanyak 31 siswa. Hasil dari penelitian pengembangan ini adalah: (1) keberhasilan produk yang dikembangkan dengan beberapa spesifikasi model yaitu; (a) JST dibangun dengan struktur single layer, jawaban tes sebagai masukan dan kesimpulan hasil tes sebagai keluaran; (b) Model pembelajaran JST menggunakan metode perceptron dengan model aktifasi pada JST menggunakan model bipolar (symmetric hard limit); (2) Proses pembelajaran secara terbimbing dengan 10 pola mendapatkan bobot yang dapat membedakan 10 pola dengan tepat, berdasar pengujian secara terbalik. (3) Pengujian secara luas menunjukan produk yang dibangun mampu memprediksi potensi siswa dalam bidang robotika, dengan membedakan 31 pola hasil tes siswa yang berbeda dengan menggunakan bobot yang didapat dari 10 pola pembelajaran. DEVELOPING INTEREST AND TALENT TEST USING ARTIFICIAL NEURAL NETWORK (ANN) TO PREDICT STUDENTS’ APTITUDE IN ROBOTICSAbstractThis investigation was aimed: (1) to develop the model of interest and talent test using ANN; (2) to obtain the results of functionality examination of interest and talent test which is developed using ANN; and (3) to obtain the results of the performance from the examination of interest and talent test which is developed using ANN to predict students’ aptitude in robotics. This study was a research and development. Subjects were divided into two trials, limited trial was given to 10 trainee students, and wider trial was tested on the 31 students. From the analysis, it can be concluded that: (1) the success of the products developed had some model specifications as follows; (a) ANN was built with a single-layered structure, the answers to the test was the input and the conclusion of the test was as output. (b) ANN learning model used a neural network perceptron method with activation of the ANN using bipolar model (symmetric hard limit). (2) The learning process was guided by the 10 patterns that could be weighted appropriately to distinguish 10 patterns, based on testing in reverse. (3) Extensive testing showed the developed product was able to predict the aptitude of students in the field of robotics, by distinguishing 31 different student examination result pattern using the weights obtained from the 10 patterns of learning.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan pembelajaran elektronik (e-learning) sebagai pengganti perkuliahan konvensional untuk meningkatkan kemampuan analitis mahasiswa. Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi-experiment design. Populasi penelitian adalah mahasiswa semester 1 program studi Akuntansi Universitas Pamulang tahun ajaran 2017/2018 dengan sampel dua kelas yang berjumlah 47 orang dan diambil dengan teknik cluster random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, studi dokumentasi, dan tes kemampuan berpikir analitis, dan dianalisis menggunakan paired sample t-test. Penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil bahwa tidak efektifnya penggunaan e-learning sebagai pengganti perkuliahan konvensional (non e-learning) sebagai upaya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir analitis peserta didik terhadap permasalahan-permasalahan pada mata kuliah Pengantar Akuntansi I. Tetapi walaupun demikian, rata-rata kemampuan berpikir analitis kelompok e-leaning juga cukup besar, yaitu 67,23 sehingga e-learning juga cukup bagus untuk digunakan, tetapi mungkin tidak sebagai pengganti pembelajaran konvensional, melainkan sebagai suplemen (tambahan) dan/atau komplemen (pelengkap) pembelajaran.

With the drastic increase in competition in the future, the readiness of human resources is an essential factor that should not be ignored. One way to prepare qualified human resources is through education. However, for some students, the cost of education in Indonesia is still too expensive, so not a few students are unable to continue their education to higher education. A team of lecturers from Pamulang University, in collaboration with Myskat Empat Ribu (MER) organized a fundraising webinar. This webinar aims not only to raise funds to be distributed to orphaned students who are threatened with dropping out of university but also to provide information to scholarship hunters. This webinar results in scholarship hunters knowing other programs to study abroad besides scholarships. Apparently, not many students/ lecturers do not know the research/teaching assistanceship program.

ABSTRACTThis riset aims to determine how the relationship between knowledge about the duties and obligations of being an educational accountant with the interest in becoming an educational accountant, and how this level of knowledge can be used to predict how much interest someone has to become an educational accountant. accountant. This riset uses a quantitative approach with a survey method using a questionnaire as a research nstrument. The riset data were analyzed using simple regression with the condition that the data were interval scale and normally distributed. The results of this riset indicate that the higher the knowledge about the duties and obligations of being an educational accountant, the higher the interest in being an educational accountant with all its obligations, where 28.4% of the total interest in being an educational accountant is influenced by the magnitude of the knowledge score. And the amount of interest can be predicted by the regression equation: the amount of interest in a person to become an educational accountant = 23.343 + (0.533 x knowledge of the obligations of being an educational accountant).Keywords: educator accountants, knowledge, interestsABSTRAKRiset ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana hubungan antara pengetahuan akan tugas dan kewajiban menjadi akuntan pendidik dengan minat untuk menjadi akuntan pendidik, dan bagaimana tingkat pengetahuan tersebut dapat digunakan untuk memprediksi seberapa besar minat seseorang untuk menjadi akuntan pendidik. Riset ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei dengan menggunakan angket sebagai instrumen penelitiannya. Data hasil riset dianalisis menggunakan regresi sederhana dengan syarat data berskala interval dan berdistribusi normal. Hasil riset ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin tinggi pengetahuan akan tugas dan kewajiban menjadi akuntan pendidik maka semakin tinggi pula minat untuk menjadi akuntan pendidik dengan segala kewajibannya, di mana sebesar 28,4% dari semua skor minat menjadi akuntan pendidik dipengaruhi oleh besarnya skor pengetahuan tersebut. Besarnya minat ini dapat diprediksi dengan persamaan regresi: besarnya minat seseorang menjadi akuntan pendidik = 23,343 + (0,533 x pengetahuan akan kewajiban menjadi akuntan pendidik).Kata kunci: akuntan pendidik, pengetahuan, minat

The purpose of this research is to determine the effectiveness of using the Quizizz application in increasing student achievement motivation in online learning. This is quasi-experimental research with a quantitative approach. The research was conducted in the even semester of the 2021/2022 academic year at the Accounting Education Study Program, Faculty of Economics, UNY. The research sample consisted of an experimental class consisting of 32 students and a control class consisting of 32 students. The instrument of data collection was done with a closed questionnaire which was developed referring to the Likert scale with five alternative answers. The independent sample t-test was used to analyze the data. The findings demonstrated that the Quizizz application's effectiveness in boosting student achievement motivation significantly. The implication is that if the lecturer intends to increase student achievement motivation, they can use the Quizizz application in learning assessment.

The part that needs to be improved from a student living in Al-Kamilah Foundation from an academic perspective is the ability to count and speak English. The service team teaches regularly at the Al-Kamilah Foundation once a week, to be precise on Wednesdays, to improve the numeracy skills and English of the foster children at the Foundation. Continuous training is needed to have a profound effect on increasing this ability. Teaching is carried out by lecturers from Pamulang University who have an educational background both from a scientific background in mathematics and English. The training has provided significant improvement results because this program has actually been going on for 3 semesters which are carried out continuously every week, unless it is closed during holidays and class holidays

ABSTRAK Tujuan dilaksanakan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini yaitu untuk meningkatnya kesadaran orang tua terhadap pentingnya pendidikan keuangan keluarga, harapannya anak-anak dan generasi selanjutnya dapat memiliki perilaku yang bijak dalam berkeuangan. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Kelompok Bermain Panji Semirang dengan peserta yaitu orang tua wali murid sebanyak 20 orang. Metode yang digunakan yaitu sosialisasi dengan model ceramah dan diskusi. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan ini yaitu: (1) pendidikan keuangan keluarga penting dilakukan orang tua sejak dini untuk membentuk karakter bijak berkeuangan pada anak sejak usia dini; (2) peran orang tua dalam pendidikan keuangan keluarga yaitu sebagai pendidik yang mendidik anak mereka tentang pengetahuan dan manajemen keuangan di linkungan keluarga; dan (3) peserta memberikan apresiasi yang positif terhadap kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini. Kata kunci: Sosialisasi, Pendidikan Keuangan Keluarga, Orang Tua ABSTRACTThe purpose of carrying out this community service is to increase parents' awareness of the importance of family financial education, it is hoped that children and the next generation can have wise behavior in finance. This activity was carried out in the Panji Semirang Playgroup with 20 participants, namely parents and guardians of students. The method used is socialization with lecture and discussion models.
