Abstract

A solar power generation system is a significant investment, and its economic viability is crucial. Analyzing economic factors helps ensure that the selected photovoltaic specifications are cost-efficient, the financial investment is justified, and the energy needs, the project remains sustainable in the long term. It assists stakeholders in making decisions based on economic considerations, energy production and environmental impact. This research aims to analyze the requirements for solar power generation and the selection of photovoltaics based on economic factors. The results of this research explain photovoltaic specifications in terms of efficiency, capacity, technology, and characteristics to understand how they affect the requirements of solar power generation systems. Based on economic factors such as initial investment costs, operational costs, and long-term economic benefits generated. The simulation of the photovoltaic system indicated that photovoltaics with a capacity of 485Wp, using monocrystalline type Canadian Solar HiKu5 Mono PERC, produce the highest output value of 8 kWp using 15 solar panels. It indicates that these specifications offer a high potential for electricity production. The highest economic value amounts to IDR 71,874,000 with an annual yield of 2,920 kWp. The use of monocrystalline photovoltaics is superior and more durable compared to polycrystalline. However, monocrystalline types tend to be more expensive in terms of price. Nevertheless, investment in types can provide long-term benefits in terms of efficiency, durability, and higher electricity production potential despite the higher initial costs. The selection of photovoltaic types should consider these factors, including available budget, desired efficiency, and overall system requirements.

Abstract

 Today's Air Conditioner (AC) cooling systems are included in the basic needs category, especially for tropical climate areas such as Jakarta and its surroundings and many other areas in Indonesia. The use of air conditioning provides many benefits for human life, namely providing comfort during work or study activities and resting, thereby increasing productivity and maintaining the health of the human body, especially for students and educators at the Tahfidz Markaz Hadits Bilal Bin Rabah Islamic Boarding School. One type of AC cooler that is often used by people is the split wall (non-inverter) AC type because it has several advantages, including cheaper prices and fairly easy installation. Like most other electronic products, ACs must also undergo regular maintenance, according to product guidelines and usage time, so that the AC can work optimally without problems and extend the lifespan of the AC. To carry out maintenance independently and equip the students with knowledge and expertise, Pamulang University lecturers and students in the electrical engineering study program carry out one of the tri dharmas of higher education, namely community service with the title "AC Training and Maintenance at the Tahfidz Markaz Hadits Bilal Bin Rabah Islamic Boarding School."

Abstract

Sumber energi listrik diperlukan untuk operasional kios coffee, memastikan berbagai peralatan elektronik dapat berfungsi dengan baik ada pun sumber energi alternatif yang dapat diguanakan selain ramah lingkungan serta tidak menghasilkan gas CO2. Analisis teknis dan ekonomi pada system diperlukan untuk memastikan efisiensi energi yang diterapkan dan mengoptimalkan biaya performa sistem, serta memastikan keberlanjutan operasional kios coffee di berbagai lokasi. PLTS off-grid dapat menjadi solusi dan dapat diterapakan pada atap kios coffee yang tidak akan menggangu berbindah lokasi. Hasil perhitungan teknis menunjukkan etimasi beban sebesar 304,77kWh/tahun, panel surya yang digunakan 350 Wp, charge controller 14A 51 Volt , inverter 1000 Watt, dan tiga unit baterai 12V 100Ah disusun paralel, hasil simulasi PVSyst dengan sudut kemiringan 10° dan azimuth 0° menghasilkan total energi tahunan 522,26 kWh, dengan 206,39 kWh tidak dapat digunakan serta energi yang disuplai ke beban sebesar 304,77 kWh/tahun hal tersebut artinya beban terpenuhi 100% dengan performa rasio 49%. Investasi awal PLTS Rp. 10.775.000, biaya operasi tahunan Rp. 107.750, penggantian baterai Rp. 4.200.000 serta LCC Rp. 14.367.367 dengan CoE Rp. 6.531/kWh. Evaluasi menunjukkan NPV positif Rp. 3.138.724, Profitability Index 1,29, dan Discounted Payback Period 3 tahun 7 bulan, menandakan kelayakan investasi PLTS off-grid pada kios coffee.

Abstract

Electrical energy is one of the most important needs for human life today. Most of the resources used in Indonesia still use traditional or fossil fuels, which are resources that are harmful to the environment. Therefore, the utilization of solar energy can be done by using solar modules. Solar energy is one of the new renewable energy sources that can answer the need for alternative energy and solutions to answer the challenges of the energy crisis that occurs, because solar energy is not polluting, cannot run out, and cannot be purchased. The method used is experimental research in the form of installing an installation system based on existing planning. The design of the solar module used is installed with an off-grid system. The off-grid system is a system that utilizes sunlight directly without being connected to the PLN network. This study analyzes the potential of solar energy as a new renewable energy source in modern kiosks using solar panels. And also provides a brief and practical guide to the community to determine the right and economical specifications in installing off-grid solar panels.

Abstract

Electric energy is important in human life, because almost all activities use electronic devices. Kiosks also have use of electrical energy. Small kiosks that can move around are not suitable for kWh meters (Grid). The solution is to utilize alternative energy in the form of Solar Power Plant, an independent energy producer by converting sunray into electric energy. Before system is built, planning is needed to get a reliable system. Method used to plan this system is R&D (Research & Development). The process includes: relevant studies, site(location) selection, load and energy consumption estimation, system design, component rating calculation, selection of components, design revisions, compiling budget plan, as well as conducting economic calculations. Planning results for a system with a load of 260 Watts and daily energy consumption of 1.1 kWh, system require 3 PV panels of 350 Wp, SCC rating 96V 60A max input with max power of 1440Watt at 24V, inverter 24/220V 50Hz with 1000Watt continuous and 2000Watt maximum power, battery bank with capacity of 300Ah 24V. System is feasible and profitable because it has a payback period (PP) value < PV panel lifetime, as well as an RoI (Return on Investment) percentage value of +11% profit.

Abstract

Thai drama is entertainment that is currently popular among Indonesian teenagers. even spread all over the world. There are many ways to access Thai dramas, one of which is by downloading or streaming them on certain websites. The author understands that there are still many Thaientu (a term for Thai drama lovers) who are often confused about finding and preparing a website that provides the latest streaming links to watch Thai drama shows on local Thai TV. Therefore, the authors develop a website that provides link updates from five other websites as streaming link providers. Website development uses the PHP programming language and the Laravel Framework which makes the website more attractive and provides links from five websites (youtube.com, Viu.com, Wetv.com, Imdb.com and Mydramalist.com). . In addition, the retrieved information is entered into a local database, making it useful for faster drama searches. The result of implementing the Laravel Framework is that the developed website is capable of displaying Thai drama links based on predetermined categories. The categories are Popular Thai dramas, and Completed Thai dramas and Mixed dramas. The links displayed come from five other websites that have been predetermined. Thus, one will save their time and do not need to open every website to find the desired link using this website.

Abstract

Markaz Hadits (MH) is a foundation that provides religious education with the core material of memorizing the Koran and the Hadith of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam, at junior high school (Tsanawiyah) and high school ('Aliyah) levels. Tahfiz Markaz Hadits Bilal bin Rabah Aliyah Legok Islamic Boarding School, is located in the village of Cirarab, where many of the residents make their living as factory workers, freelance workers transporting sand and gravel, farmers and others. This Islamic boarding school is located on waqf land of approximately 800m2 with a mosque, classrooms, student and teacher dormitories as well as the principal's residence. The mosque is the main facility where students carry out worship and activities, it is also a place of worship for local residents and is also a place where studies or lectures are carried out by resource persons or teachers from various scientific backgrounds, both for students, the surrounding community and the supervisors and administrators of Islamic boarding school activities. To support these activities, a good audio sound system is needed to carry out the call to prayer as well as other announcements and other forms of activities. For this reason, indoor out loudspeakers with optimal power and the right direction and location are needed, the wider the area, the greater the power requirement. However, what needs to be paid attention to is the power distribution. It is better to place several speakers with smaller power spread out at certain points than large power speakers but only placed at one point and the right power amplifier is to use a Toa power amplifier. To optimize the indoor sound system of the mosque at the Tahfiz Markaz Hadits Bilal Bin Rabah Aliyah Legok Islamic Boarding School, the PKM Team for the Electrical Engineering Study Program at Pamulang University carried out a PKM entitled Training on Mosque Area Sound System Installation at the Tahfidz Markaz Hadits Bilal Bin Rabah Islamic Boarding School Cirarab Legok Tangerang Banten.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country with high lightning strike intensity, making lightning protection systems critically important, especially for public infrastructure such as Light Rail Transit (LRT). This research aims to analyze the lightning protection system implemented in the Jakarta LRT Phase 1B Project, particularly in the station areas and railway lines. The methods used include field observation, literature study, interviews, and technical analysis using the rolling sphere method, protective angle method, and mesh method to determine the coverage of protected areas. In addition, an evaluation of the grounding system was conducted to ensure the safe discharge of lightning currents into the earth. The analysis results show that the lightning protection system applied complies with PUIPP and IEC 62305-1 standards and is capable of protecting signaling and telecommunication equipment from lightning risks. The combination of the three protection methods provides comprehensive coverage for LRT structures. The grounding system design also meets the standard resistance requirement (< 5 Ohms), ensuring operational safety and protecting critical equipment. Furthermore, the study highlights the importance of integrating lightning protection with other safety systems such as fire protection and electrical surge protection, as lightning can cause cascading failures that disrupt railway operations. Proper maintenance and periodic testing of grounding resistance are also necessary to ensure long-term reliability. In addition, the Faraday cage principle applied to train cars contributes to passenger safety by preventing lightning currents from penetrating the cabin interior. This research is expected to serve as a reference for developing lightning protection systems in similar infrastructure projects, especially in regions with high lightning density. By applying international standards and comprehensive protection methods, the Jakarta LRT demonstrates how modern urban transportation can operate safely despite extreme weather risks.
