Abstract

One of the pollutants produced by motor vehicles is lead (Pb). Lead (Pb) is a toxic anddangerous heavy metal to the environment and have a systemic impact in human bodies. Lead (Pb) canenter the body through inhalation, snacks sold on the roadside without cover. This will be even moredangerous if the food is exposed for a long time. The purpose of this research was to determine the levelsof lead (Pb) in snacks based on exposure time during peddling in Madiun square in 2014.The research followed pre-experimental design using posttest only protocol. Data collection wasdone by sampling, documentation and observation. The population under study was the food peddlers offried soybean cakes along the roadside around Madiun square. The samples to be examined were friedsoybean cakes, in 3 replications and to be performed 3 times in each treatment and the exposure time ofthe 9 samples. Sampling was drawn by random sampling and data was to subjected to descriptiveanalysis.The results obtained from this research include the facts that all samples did contain heavymetals lead (Pb). The average levels of lead (Pb) before exposure was 0.01 .rnq / I, after an hourexposure was 0,021 mg / I, and after 2 hours of exposure was 0,033 mg / I. The concentration of lead(Pb) remained below the designated requirement, the Threshold Limit Value established by the DirectorGeneral of POMNo. HK.00.06.1.52.4011 regarding the maximum limit of lead metal contamination in food.One way ANOVA statistical test results obtained (p) a so that HO means no Significant differencebetween exposure times i.e. a hours, 1 hour, and 2 hours in term of the lead content.The conclusion of this study is: there was no significant difference in lead content in snacks,namely the soybean cakes with the exposure time of 0 hours, 1 hour, and 2 hours, although there was anincrease based on the length of exposure time. Pedlers are encouraged to use a cloth cover / Stelling toreduce contamination of lead (Pb). Further research is necessaryto study the aerial concentration of leadin Madiun square.

Abstract

A total of 6 fungi isolates of growing at pH 9 and 2 isolates on pH 10 with amylolytic indexes 0f 0.07-1.42 have been isolated from cassava starch liquid waste. Two isolates having the highest amylolytic index were identified as Aspergillus sydowii K10 (1.42) and Aspergillus versicolor L30 (1.4). Both A. sydowii K10 and A. versicolor L30 were described as alcalotolerant for being able to grow with range pH 5-10. The optimal -amylases production of A. sydowii K10 and A. versicolor L30 was obtained after 4 and 3 days of incubation at 300C. The optimum of -amylase activity from A. sydowii K10 was at 400C and 700C, and pH 6; while those from A. versicolor L30 was at 500C and pH 6 respectively. Both A. sydowii K10 and A. versicolor L30 could produce glucoamylase. The optimum of glucoamylase activity from A. sydowii K10 was at 400C and pH 5, while those from A. versicolor L30 was at 500C and pH 5 respectively.

Abstract

Latar Belakang Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar Matematika siswa kelas IVa SDN 015 Sungai Salak Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017 Kecamatan Tempuling.Masalah belajar ini diatasi dengan menerapkan Metode Drill dengan perumusan masalah:Apakah penerapan Metode Drill dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar Matematika pada siswakelas IVa SDN 015 Sungai Salak Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017 Kecamatan Tempuling? Penelitianbertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar Matematika pada siswa kelas IVa SDN 015Sungai Salak kecamatan Tempuling Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017 Kecamatan Tempuling dengancara penerapan metode drill. Penelitian diharapkan bermanfaat bagi penulis, siswa, sekolah,dan Dinas Pendidikan Kabupaten Indragirin Hilir.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan metode drilldapat meningkatkan hasil belajar Matematika siswa kelas IVa SDN 015 Sungai Salak TahunAjaran 2016/2017 secara signifikan. Pada awalnya hasil belajar pratindakan adalah rata-rata44,16 (sangat kurang baik); pada siklus I menjadi 70,00 (baik); dan hasil siklus II adalah85,41 (amat baik). Ketuntasan belajar secara individual dan klasikal meningkat; padaawalnya hanya 6 atau 257% siswa yang tuntas belajar; siklus I menjadi 17 siswa atau70,80%; dan pada siklus II sebanyak 24 siswa atau 100%. Pada siklus II, pembelajarantelah dianggap berhasil karena siswa yang mencapai KKM (65) telah tuntas di atas 85%.Hasil pengamatan seorang observer dan penulis sebagai guru siswa IVa SDN 015 SungaiSalak Kecamatan Tempuling kelihatan siswa-siswa aktif belajar dan mengerti denganpenggunaan metode drill khususnya pada materi Penjumlahan dan Pengurangan BilanganBulat dan mereka dapat belajar dengan cara berulang-ulang sampai menguasai materipelajaran. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian perbaikan pembelajaran dengan metode drill berhasilmemperbaiki masalah rendahnya hasil belajar siswa IVa SDN 015 Sungai Salak KecamatanTempuling tahun ajaran 2016/2017.

Abstract

Antimicrobial resistance has become a problem and a threat to health both in Indonesia and in the world. Resistance is the ability of bacteria to neutralize and weaken the action of antibiotics. The aim of this study was to isolate a novel antimicrobial from soil bacteria. The method used in this research is exploratory. The test bacteria used were Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. The results showed that there were two isolates that had zones of inhibition against the test bacteria staphylococcus aureus, namely isolates T2.2 and T2.18. The results of the first antimicrobial test for isolate T2.2 showed that the inhibition zone formed was 14.05 mm and isolates T2.18 the inhibition zone formed was 11.96 mm. The results of the second antimicrobial test were carried out by treating the unheated T2.2 isolate which showed an inhibition zone formed of 15.53 mm and the heated one 15.46 mm, while the unheated T2.18 isolate showed an average inhibition zone of 12.46 mm and heated 12.21 mm. The conclusion of this study is that the inhibition zone formed on isolates T2.2 and T2.18 is still relatively small and both isolates are spesies of Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
