Abstract

Kegiatan usaha selalu menghadapi berbagai tantangan dalam persaingan untuk terus bertahan hidup. Beberapa strategi dikembangkan untuk menjawab tantangan yang dihadapi tersebut. Wirausahawan sebagai penggerak usaha baik usaha yang berskala kecil maupun menengah hingga usaha skala besar tidak dapat menghindari untuk terus melakukan terobosan strategi agar tercapai keberhasilan usahanya. Sektor usaha kecil dimana masih terdapat banyak keterbatasan membutuhkan banyak bantuan dan motivasi untuk dapat memanfaatkan setiap kesempatan dan juga sumber daya yang ada. Dari aspek tersebut dapat dipahami bahwa dunia pendidikan dapat memberikan kontribusi nyata untuk membina usaha – usaha yang masih dapat dikembangkan sesuai potensinya.

Abstract

The role of human resources (employees) in the company is very important because it functions as the main driver of all activities of the company in achieving its goals. One of the things that can affect employee performance is the number of wages given by the company. The number of wages given by the company to employees can be determined, one of which is through the presence of employees in one month. Therefore, employee attendance data is something that is very important for a company. However, some companies still recap attendance, calculate overtime hours, and make employee attendance reports manually. This work is certainly less effective because it requires a lot of time and effort, where the results are not necessarily accurate, so there is often unrest, dissatisfaction and injustice in the provision of employee wages. Therefore, we need a system that can recapitulate employee attendance hours automatically. This study aims to build an attendance system and calculate employee overtime hours in real time based on employee attendance through fingerprints, as well as conduct trials and evaluations of the attendance system created. The process of managing employee attendance data can be done through a website-based information system by implementing the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method. The attendance information system has been developed to be implemented at PT. Sriwijaya Delapan Tujuh Malang, and based on the results of testing through a questionnaire, the system is easy to use and can help the process of providing employee wages through the results of a recap of attendance and overtime every day.

Abstract

Kelompok Pengrajin Bambu desa Duwet merupakan usaha yang terbentuk secara resmi dalam wadah Usaha Peningkatan Pendapatan Keluarga Sejahtera (UPPKS) sejak tahun 2010, Berdasarkan hasil observasi, hasil penjualan mitra masih rendah disebabkan karena rendahnya diversifikasi produk, pemasaran yang terbatas, serta rendahnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan tenaga pemasaran. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh mitra agar dapat memaksimalkan penjualan. Metode pelaksanaan untuk mengatasi permasalahan yang ada yaitu dengan branstorming membuat design brosur, pamflet dan website serta pendampingan dan pelatihan menjadi tenaga marketing pada kelompok pengrajin anyaman bambu. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan mitra yang dibuktikan dengan kemampuan membuat brosur/pamflet produk, menjalankan sistem penjualan menggunakan website yang telah didesain oleh tim pengabdi. Dengan hasil tersebut diharapkan mitra dapat meningkatkan penjualannya

Abstract

This activity aims to guide small businesses, especially Keripik Barokah in Batu City. By completing this activity, Keripik Barokah can take advantage and maximize the Instagram platform by presenting content related to the Keripik Barokah or content that is closely related to any information about Keripik Barokah. Through Content uploaded to Instagram, it will provide awareness about products from Barokah Chips and encourage consumers to purchase products in the Batu City area and other cities. The approach used by providing guidance step by step from the first by creating an official Instagram business account from Keripik Barokah, namely @barokahchips_batu, and provides the next step about various examples of creating contents that are possible to be uploaded on a business account. In addition, to maximize the analysis of the use of business Instagram, an explanation of the benefits of Instagram Insight is also given to see the response of account visitors so they can keep up with the increasingly rapid development of digital marketing nowadays.

Abstract

Small businesses such as home industries have to face various obstacles to expand their product markets. One of the obstacles is the products offered are not well known to the public because there is no brand label attached to the product packaging. Seeing the importance of brand labels on a product, it is important to be able to participate in small businesses to provide additional knowledge of the function and use of brand labels in product marketing. This community service aims to provide direction about the benefits of labels to introduce products to a wider market.

Abstract

Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PkM) in 2021, was carried out to provide training and guidance to mothers in the area around Pawon Buci Malang on Business Correspondence to help promote and market products from Pawon Buci Malang. The method used by the PkM Implementation Team is to provide an explanation of the meaning of letters, understanding of business correspondence, the importance of correspondence (especially during the Covid 19 Pandemic), requirements for a good letter, function of letters, language of letters, nature of business letters, form of letters, sections -Department of Letters, Sales Methods - Direct Sales, Kinds of Letters (Introduction Letters, Offer Letters, Order Acceptance Letters, Order Confirmation Letters, Order Rejection Letters). This PkM activity received high enthusiasm from the participants. The enthusiasm was evidenced by the completeness of the 5 participants who listened carefully and actively from the beginning to the end of the activity. The PkM Implementation Team concluded that all participants were able to put the results of the training into practice by being able to write the necessary documents to promote and market Pawon Buci products.

Abstract

This community service aims to enrich and encourage the entrepreneurial creativity of the target audience in order to empower their skills. Participants in this community service activities are the members of the group of “Purnakrama GSJA - Maranatha Malang”, in which consist of women who are struggling to live alone as widows or unmarried. They live independently and are responsible for their own well-being without the support of a husband or partner. Empowering the participants' skills is delivered by introducing and teaching them the decoupage art technique, that is the art of decorating plain objects/used items with deco-napkins so that the value of the object will increase greatly. After attending this training, participants are expected to stimulate their creativity, as well increase their knowledge and skills, with the result it can be used to help their welfare even though they have to live independently. Decoupage art is chosen a main training topic as it provide a lot of beneficial advantages. Besides it can be easily taught in an efficient time, it also being able to transform used/plain items into more valuable ones because decoupage art have a variety of interesting motifs. Apart from that, the tools and materials used for decoupage art really easy to look for, and the costs are affordable. The competencies have been achieved, as in the end each of the participants has been successfully applied decoupage art technique using two kinds of deco-napkins patterns towards two different medias surfaces, in which each media need special and different treatment to apply decoupage technique. The first media is strap-plastic bag with its rough surface, then another media is flower pot which has smooth surface. In the end, the final evaluation results declared that community service using Decoupage art has been success to empower the members of the group of “Purnakrama GSJA - Maranatha Malang”

Abstract

When talking about current business developments, there has been a lot of talk about where 2023 is the year towards a recession situation. This condition will certainly have an impact on all aspects of the main activities of the business sector, which inevitably must be prepared to face heavy burdens not only due to intense competition, but also sluggish conditions which can reduce business turnover. Of course, it's not strange if the end of all business is to get maximum income in which it must be considered as profit. Various efforts need to be made by all business scales, including MSMEs. Even though there is a long story that MSMEs always manage to get through even difficult situations, of course you can't if you just wait for what will happen in the future. One effort that can be done by adjusting all the resources owned by a place of business is to strengthen the business name and promote it more broadly through a business profile (company profile) that can be reached by the whole community as potential customers. A business profile that can highlight various characteristics of a place of business not only enhances a positive image in the eyes of consumers but also can reach some opportunities to bring in investors who can work together to develop the business.
