Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to increase students' activeness and learning outcomes in Chemistry. It can be useful in providing an interesting and not boring learning experience for students, through blended learning, students are directly involved in learning activities, to increase student chemistry learning activity during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research is classroom action research consisting of two cycles, each consisting of four activities: planning, action, observation, and reflection. Learning activities with this blended learning model will continue to the next cycle if the indicators of success have not been achieved. The sample in this study was 32 students of class XI MIPA Jambi Medan Private High School. The study’s results used a blended learning model during the Covid-19 pandemic. From the results of research and discussion that have been obtained, several conclusions can be drawn, including; In cycle I, the number of students who are in the active category is 46.88% and the very active is 9.38%, so the number of student activities is 56.26%; In cycle II there was an increase in the activity category by 37.50% and students who were very active increased by 50.00%, so that the number of student activities was obtained by 87.50%, and student learning outcomes increased with the achievement of the minimum completeness criterion score in the first cycle of 64% and in the second cycle it is obtained by 76.00%. So that the number of students' learning completeness is obtained by 84.21%.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the activeness and learning outcomes of chemistry students. Can be useful in providing an interesting learning experience and not boring students, through google classroom learning and parental parenting, students are directly involved in learning activities, to increase the activeness of student chemistry learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research is class action research (known with PTK) consisting of 2 cycles, where each cycle consists of four activities, namely: planning, action, observation, and reflection. Learning activities with the google classroom learning model and parenting will continue to the next cycle if success indicators have not been achieved. The sample in this study was class X MIPA students of Jambi Medan Private High School as many as 35 students. The results of the study using the google classroom learning model and parenting patterns during the Covid-19 pandemic. From the results of the research and discussion that have been obtained, several conclusions can be drawn, including In the first cycle, the number of students in the active category was 42.86% and the very active ones were 8.57% so the number of student activities was obtained by 51.43%; In cycle II, there was an increase in the activeness category by 34.29% and very active students experienced an increase of 57.14%, so that the number of student activities was obtained by 91.43%; and student learning outcomes have increased with the achievement of minimum completeness criteria (known with KKM) scores in cycle I of 62% and in cycle II obtained by 84.5%. So the number of student learning completion was obtained by 85.83%.

Abstract

This research was conducted in the library of the health center at Posyandu (Integrated Service Post) located in Pasar Borbor Village. Research is carried out once a month in the second week with routine activities for the community. Geographically, Posyandu is far from residential areas, difficult for the community to reach, so there has been a decrease in visits from mothers with toddlers. The purpose of this study was to analyze "Implementation of community education and knowledge development in the utilization of digital literacy in the library of the Borbor Sub-District Public Health Center". The research method used is a descriptive qualitative research method. The population in the study were mothers who had 91 children under five, 41 of whom were samples taken using the accidental sampling technique. To obtain data in assessing knowledge and compliance is done by using a data collection instrument in the form of a questionnaire. The data obtained was then analyzed using the Chi Square statistical test with a value of α = 0.05. The research results obtained show: 1) the majority of the utilization of digital literacy is ± 43.9%, and does not utilize digital literacy of 56.1%; 2) Lack of knowledge of mothers under five is the main reason for not utilizing digital literacy when visiting posyandu, 3) There is a relationship between knowledge and utilization of digital literacy during visits (p=0.000), 4). Mothers of toddlers who have good education and knowledge make more use of digital literacy to make visits to posyandu compared to those who have less education and knowledge. The results of the research really hope that the community will take advantage of digital literacy in visiting the nearest Posyandu
