Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul Parafrasa Legenda Guru Penawar Reme menjadi naskah drama sebagai referensi bahan ajar di SMA. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif yang bertujuan mendeskripsikan secara sistematis dan mudah dipahami dengan menggunakan kata-kata atau kalimat. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik dokumen berupa video dan teks tertulis dari beberapa jurnal. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah berupa dokumen literal yang diambil dari Legenda Guru Penawar Reme. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah sumber data sekunder karena diperoleh dengan cara membaca, mempelajari serta memahami melalui media lain yang bersumber dari literatur, peneliti sebelumnya vidio di youtube serta sumber bahan yang berkaitan dengan lainya. Hasil penelitian ini berupa analisis unsur intrinsik dan nilai moral, nilai sosial serta nilai religi yang terdapat pada Legenda Guru Penawar Reme dan dijadikan naskah drama sebagai bahan ajar di SMA.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis teks berita pada siswa kelas VIII di SMP Swasta Cenderamata Medan dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Snowball Throwing. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan desain siklus yang terdiri dari perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII yang berjumlah 30 orang. Instrumen pengumpulan data meliputi tes menulis, lembar observasi, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan menulis teks berita pada siswa dapat ditingkatkan melalui penerapan model Snowball Throwing. Pada siklus I, nilai rata-rata kemampuan menulis teks berita siswa mencapai 55, sedangkan pada siklus II terjadi peningkatan menjadi 75. Selain itu, partisipasi dan motivasi siswa dalam proses pembelajaran juga mengalami peningkatan yang signifikan. Model Snowball Throwing terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks berita, karena melibatkan siswa secara aktif dalam proses pembelajaran dan memberikan kesempatan bagi mereka untuk berbagi informasi serta berdiskusi dengan teman sekelas. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa model Snowball Throwing dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif metode pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menulis teks berita pada siswa kelas VIII SMP. Diharapkan penelitian ini dapat memberikan kontribusi positif bagi guru dalam memilih strategi pembelajaran yang efektif dan menarik untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran di kelas.

Abstract

Literacy culture plays a crucial role in life because knowledge is essentially discovered through reading and writing activities. By reading more, individuals can learn many things they previously did not know. There are numerous benefits of reading in life, such as broadening horizons and increasing knowledge, improving language skills, enhancing imagination, and many more.The low reading literacy in Indonesia makes Indonesian education lag behind other countries. Based on the results of the 2022 Programme for International Student Assessment (PISA) Survey, Indonesia's reading literacy score has decreased compared to 2018. One of the causes of the low literacy culture in Indonesia is the lack of interest and habit of reading. Interest in reading needs to be formed and trained from an early age, because interest in reading is not something that is automatically possessed from birth. One of the efforts made by the government is to implement the School Literacy Movement (GLS). Based on the results of the study from the pre-action stage to cycle III, there was a significant increase in students' reading literacy skills for fiction books at SMP Negeri 11 Medan. At the pre-action stage, the average student score only reached 66.5 with a completion of 53.13%. After the action was carried out in cycle I, the average score increased to 68.44 with a completion of 34.38%. Improvements continued in cycle II with an average score of 76.13 and completion reaching 84.38%. The peak occurred in cycle III, where the average student score increased to 78.19 and completion reached 93.75%. This increase shows that the implementation of reading literacy activities in a gradual and structured manner can significantly improve students' reading skills for fiction texts.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate curriculum management in improving the quality of education in Senior High Schools in Deli Serdang Regency. The focus of the study includes the planning, implementation, and supervision of the curriculum applied in five schools selected by Purposive Sampling. The research approach uses a qualitative method with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies. Data are analyzed using an interactive model involving data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that curriculum planning in Senior High Schools in Deli Serdang Regency has referred to national education standards, but there are still challenges in adjusting the curriculum to local needs. The implementation of the curriculum is going quite well, but faces obstacles in the availability of resources, such as competent teaching staff and supporting facilities. Curriculum supervision is carried out periodically, but still needs strengthening to ensure consistency between planning and implementation. Therefore, curriculum management has an important role in improving the quality of education, but further efforts are needed to improve synergy between stakeholders, empower teachers, and optimize supporting facilities. This study recommends a strategy for improving curriculum management based on collaboration to support higher quality education that is relevant to the needs of the community in Deli Serdang Regency.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penerapan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PBL) dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis siswa di kelas IV SD Negeri 5 Kota Langsa. PBL dipilih karena dapat mendorong keterlibatan aktif sisa dalam pembelajaran dengan mengaitkan proyek yang relevan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain eksperimen, di mana pre-test dan post-test digunakan untuk mengukur perkembangan keterampilan menulis sisa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan baha penerapan PBL berhasil meningkatkan keterampilan menulis sisa, yang terlihat dari adanya perbedaan signifikan antara hasil pre-test dan post-test. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, disarankan agar model pembelajaran PBL lebih diterapkan secara luas untuk meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran, khususnya dalam keterampilan menulis di tingkat sekolah dasar.

Abstract

The teaching of drama script writing at the high school level is often still conventional and theoretical, resulting in students being less motivated and less actively engaged in the writing process. This study aims to describe the implementation of digital-based learning in drama script writing by utilizing the Padlet application integrated with artificial intelligence (AI) features in Grade XI of SMA Plus Sedayu Nusantara. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive design, conducted directly in the classroom using a Project-Based Learning model. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation of the learning process and students’ works. The results indicate that the use of Padlet and its AI features can enhance students’ creativity, collaboration, and independence in writing drama scripts. Students find it easier to explore ideas, receive instant feedback, and produce more varied and engaging works. Challenges such as limited internet access and initial adaptation to technology can be addressed through intensive guidance and the provision of alternative learning media. This learning model is recommended for wider implementation to support digital literacy and the development of creative writing skills in the era of the Merdeka Curriculum.
