Abstract

The use of digital technology in health services has become a significant trend in recent years. The use of technology in public health services is strongly influenced by various government policies. This research was carried out with the aim of reviewing government policies in the use of digital technology in public health services. The method used in this research is a qualitative method through literature study. The results of this study then found that the use of digital technology had a positive impact in increasing the accessibility, efficiency and accuracy of health services. Government policies play an important role in encouraging and regulating the use of digital technology in health care. However, challenges in implementation cannot be ignored. Availability of adequate infrastructure and internet connection, concerns regarding patient data privacy and security, and lack of understanding and technological skills are obstacles that need to be overcome. Collaboration between the government, health institutions and other stakeholders is an important key in overcoming these challenges.

Abstract

Amidst the global ecological crisis, the strengthening of identity politics, and the increasing commodification of religion, local spirituality values form the basis for the management of religious ecotourism. The aim is to develop a conceptual framework that centres local spirituality in religious ecotourism management. This study is positioned as a conceptual study, employing an integrative literature review to compile and critique previous theories and findings systematically. The results conclude that truly sustainable religious ecotourism requires a radical shift from tourism that merely uses local spirituality to governance led by local spirituality as a source of values, direction, and ethical boundaries. The conflict between the sacredness of space and commercialisation can only be resolved if concepts such as Tri Hita Karana, Siri'na Pacce, Sedulur Papat Lima Pancer, and Huma Betang are operated as a framework for decision-making, and if religious rituals are transformed from routine ceremonies into vehicles for education and mobilisation of collective ecological awareness. Thus, religious ecotourism is no longer another face of a sanctified extractive industry, but a concrete path towards Indonesian eco-theology, a practice of faith that binds communities to protect the earth, honour their ancestors, and redefine the meaning of progress in the midst of an ecological crisis.

Abstract

Disasters disrupt not only physical infrastructure but also social relations, collective identities, and community meaning systems. While disaster studies have extensively examined risk management, emergency response, and physical recovery, the social processes through which communities reconstruct identity and meaning in post-disaster contexts remain underexplored. This study examines social resilience as an interpretative and identity-based process through which communities actively reconstruct their social worlds after disasters. Using a qualitative sociological–interpretative approach, the research draws on in-depth interviews, participant observation, and analysis of community narratives involving disaster-affected communities. The findings demonstrate that social resilience is not a static capacity but a negotiated process shaped through collective narratives, solidarity practices, and symbolic actions. Communities redefine “who we are” by transforming experiences of loss into shared meanings that strengthen social bonds and collective agency. Furthermore, the construction of post-disaster identity occurs within unequal power relations, where community narratives often contest external representations imposed by state actors, humanitarian organizations, and media. In this sense, social resilience functions not only as adaptation but also as symbolic resistance against passive victimhood labels. The study contributes to disaster resilience scholarship by reframing resilience as a dynamic process of identity construction and meaning-making, offering a deeper understanding of post-disaster recovery beyond technical and material dimensions.
