Abstract

Currently, the use of automation has become a useful tool to monitor manufacture in improving work efficiency and safety. One way the use of automation is applied in the monitoring process is the Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) which is often used to recognize objects with its camera sensors based on the direction of motion, position, and shape of the objects. However, conventional camera sensors on AMR have a limited point of view on the object. This problem can be solved by adding an omnidirectional mirror on the camera, which enables the camera to capture objects with a 360 degree view in one frame. However, the addition of omnidirectional mirror in general may lead to high cost production. Therefore, this study aims to design an omnidirectional mirror that is cost-effective and suitable to be integrated with the cameras. The design process of this study uses a Quality Function Deployment (QFD) approach to identify the best features related to the material and arrangement of the omnidirectional mirror’s angle. The proposed result of the omnidirectional mirror design hopefully will capture a better and more optimal quality of the object at a lower cost. In practice, AMR added with omnidirectional mirror can raise the efficacy of the surveillance system by capturing clearer images. Consequently, the use of AMR can contribute further to various sectors in life, including manufacturing processes, home industries, traffic, and many more.

Abstract

Batik is Indonesia's cultural heritage has been recognized through this UNESCO.Hal impact increased competition among industry batik.Salah an effort in order to win the competition is to determine the performance of supply chain industry batik.Pada this study measured the performance of the supply chain of industrial production type Make-batik toStock, case studies Batik Gunawan Setiawan using the SCOR model and weighting 11.0 AHP.Tujuan this study was to determine the performance of supply chain at Batik Gunawan Setiawan. The results of this study, the measurement of each attribute using the SCOR model 11.0 to 98.17% batik Reliability, Responsiveness 64.40 today, 14:39 today Agility, Cost Rp. 185 173. 537, -, and Asset Management 20:15 today. The measurement results batik 97.65% Reliability, Responsiveness 40.78 days, 14.70 days Agility, Cost Rp. 273 292 491, -, and Asset Management 18:04 today. And the measurement results batik combined 97.60% Reliability, Responsiveness 60.19 days, 17.61 days Agility, Cost Rp. 271 219 750, -, and Asset Management 21:17 today. The average results of measurement are included in the category of Average. Large attribute weights using AHP ie Reliability 0079, responsivenes 0194, 0035 Agility, Cost 0689, and 0003 Asset Management. Weights tge ie Cost. The results of the industry supply chain performance measures Batik Gunawan Setiawan ie 68.79% included in the category of Average. Recommendations are given is to eliminate the patterning process of batik as an Innapriorate processing. Reducing the waiting time from the process of negotiation and supplier selection colouring. Doing to improve the performance of the procurement of raw materials.

Abstract

Business Process Re-engineering is a process of re-designing business processes to improve performance. Business Process Reengineering that can be applied to help improve small and medium businesses. Manufacturing companyis a company engaged in the manufacture of test equipment Soil, Concrete, Asphalt, Hydrology and Meteorology. Organizational structure comprised of the management and some parts. The parts that include production, logistics, finance, and marketing sections with each section consists of several workers. The equipment ordered by the customer and is prepared to do the production of the raw material on demand. Target market of the product is universities, private institutions, government agencies and personal. The problem that occurs is in operational management, a lot of processes are not controlled, the documentation that mess, which still manually recording, data is not integrated and persuahaan primitive culture. Objective use of the method is the concept of Business Process Reengineering is a processing system will be computerized for the sake of presenting information more quickly, accurately, effectively and efficiently, as well as improvements in operational management system in order to survive and thrive among the other competitors. Which is of course to increase customer satisfaction and product quality, improve the satisfaction of the supplier or partner for cost efficiency and improve the welfare and satisfaction of employees. The results of business process reengineering in the form of customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction and supplier satisfaction (3P) and the data are well documented and directed.

Abstract

Strategic location, near by national economic center, exposes Banten with positive vibe for its economic growth. Nevertheless, according to existing data, on the 3rd quarter in 2015, tourism sector only reached 2,6% of market share. Thus, it hasn’t been existed as featured sectors. It appears due to several reasons, one of them is supporting component for this cultural creative industry that still under-developed. One of the local creative industries that has purpose to promote the uniqueness value of Banten culture through local souvenirs is Ora Bae (OB). This business is built based on social entrepreneurship. OB was established in 2013. However, the designated business model, apparently do not consistent with the income.Referring to above problem, therefore this research is conducted to identify and evaluate the existing business model as well as to design appropriate one. This research is carried out by implementing direct observation in Ora Bae Souvenir Shop and several Small and Middle Enterprises (SMEs) under it. The interview is performed by using SWOT concept that integrated with Business Model Canvas (BMC).Later, the results of observation and interview are used as the current business model formula that will be employed for SWOT analysis. Its results will be applied as basic for determining the business model alternative. Blue Ocean Strategy is employed to eliminate elements of business model that are insignificant and to create innovation in the latest business model. The improvement conceptsare conducted by enhancing the numberscostume’s designersto anticipate new customers’ segmentation, neglecting low price components on offered price proposition, improving the products’ distribution channel on places that potentially could maximize the available channelsby participatingin Banten events as advertising service. The improvements are also supported by resources in IT Support. In maintaining the relationship with customers, it is required additional services such as personal assistance and customer care. The innovation of this recent business model is expected to be the alternative for solution on problems that encountered by Ora Bae brand.

Abstract

The growth of industrial sector has increased. Especially for leather industries. Production of UPT Pengolahan Kulit Ladong in the form of wet blue tanned skin will be expected to cover some of the needs of national market demand. The purpose of this research is to analyze the operational feasibility of UPT Pengolahan Kulit Ladong from legal aspect, market aspect, technical aspect, management aspect, and also financial aspect. The object of this research is at UPT Pengolahan Kulit Ladong, Aceh Ladong Industrial Estate, Aceh Besar Regency, Aceh Province. The method to be used for research is techno-economical method. Data analysis consists of legal aspect analysis, market aspect analysis, technical aspect analysis, management aspect analysis, and financial aspect analysis. The results of this study indicate that in terms of legal aspects able to meet the requirements of legality, the market aspect seen from the still many unmet needs of skin that demand reached 20 million pieces of skin per year for the national market, technical aspects, to produce wet blue tanned skin can use the machine and equipment that already exist in UPT Pengolahan Kulit Ladong and already installed, management aspect that is with the availability of raw materials, it is expected when human resources are available also for UPT immediately operated and produce, and financial aspect where MARR: 10% , NPV: Rp. 286.089.235 (NPV> 0), BEP: 96%, PP: 4 Years 5 Months 19 Days, and IRR: 12.28%, so for the operation and production of UPT Pengolahan Kulit Ladong is feasible to run based on the analysis of whole aspects.

Abstract

Seringkali kita menemui suatu gambar (citra) yang tidak sedap untuk dipandangmata, karena terdapat gangguan (noise) yang berasal dari pengambilan gambar yang tidaktepat. Terdapat bermacam-macam cara yang dapat dilakukan untuk membersihkan gambaryang terkena noise. Rekayasa yang dapat dilakukan pada dunia Image Processing salahsatunya dengan melakukan pengumpulan noise pada satu titik atau satu kolom. Teknik inidinamakan Fast Fourier Transform.Transformasi fourier merupakan suatu metode yang digunakan untuk mengubah suatucitra dari domain spasial ke domain frekuensi. Versi baru yang dibicarakan selaluberhubungan dengan suatu uraian mengenai deskripsi dari space fourier pada suatu citra.Dan kebalikan dari proses diatas yaitu perubahan suatu space fourier yang diuraikankembali kedalam suatu space real disebut dengan Transformasi Invers Fourier.Kata kunci: image processing, fast fourier, transform, citra, noise, space real.

Abstract

Ketidakpastian dalam aktivitas supply chain menimbulkan berbagai risiko yang dapat menghambat daya saing perusahaan. Sehingga, aliran informasi dari proses pengadaan bahan baku hingga produk diterima oleh konsumen harus dipastikan berjalan dengan baik. Untuk mencapai hal tersebut, perusahaan harus lebih peka terhadap kemungkinan risiko yang muncul dari aktivitas supply chain sehingga perlu dilakukan manajemen risiko. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengelola kemungkinan risiko menggunakan metode House of Risk (HOR). Penelitian dibagi menjadi dua tahap utama yaitu tahap penilaian risiko dan tahap penanganan risiko. Pada tahap penilaian risiko akan menghasilkan nilai Aggregate Risk Potensil (ARP) yang mengidentifikasi tingkat severity peristiwa risiko dan tingkat occurrence agen risiko. Kemudian, pada tahap penanganan risiko akan mengidentifikasi tindakan pencegahan yang dilakukan untuk mengurangi tingkat severity dan occurrence dari agen risiko. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 19 peristiwa risiko dan 16 agen risiko yang berpotensi terjadi di UKM manufaktur sebagai studi kasus penelitian ini. Kemudian, terpilih 8 agen risiko yang perlu ditindaklanjuti untuk mengurangi tingkat risiko. Hasilnya adalah 8 agen risiko tersebut berkurang tingkat risikonya setelah diberikan tindakan pencegahan, yang pada awalnya berada pada level sangat tinggi, tinggi dan sedang turun satu level menjadi level tinggi, sedang dan rendah

Abstract

Cellular Lightweight Concrete (CLC) merupakan salah satu teknologi beton aerasi yang dapat dikembangkan sebagai suatu usaha kecil dan menengah. Bata ringan adalah material yang menyerupai beton dan memiliki sifat kuat, tahan air dan api, awet (durable). Sebagai usaha baru di pasar, bata CLC perlu dilakukan analisis tekno-ekonomi bata CLC sebagai pengganti bata konvensional berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan. Dari penelitian ini diperoleh produk CLC yang memenuhi standar persyaratan dengan nilai kerapatan 900-1000 kg/m3 dan kuat tekan sebesar 2.9 - 3.85 MPa. Hasil analisis tekno-ekonomi memperlihatkan kelayakan finansial dengan nilai (ROI) sebesar 12,8% dan PBP sebesar 9,2 bulan. Perbandingan biaya pekerjaan per meter persegi bata CLC juga menunjukan biaya yang lebih kompetitif bila dibandingan dengan bata merah biasa.

Abstract

Perusahaan baik dibidang manufaktur maupun jasa dewasa ini agar bisa bersaing dan berkembang yaitu dengan mempertahankan kualitas produk, melakukan inovasi terhadap produk dan tetap menjaga kepuasan dan kepercayaan konsumen. Untuk dapat menjaga kepuasan dan kepercayaan konsumen tersebut, perusahaan dapat berusaha dengan menghilangkan produk cacat dan menjaga kinerja mereka. Maka untuk dapat mengurangi permasalahan tersebut perusahaan juga dapat menerapkan manajemen risiko untuk mengetahui risiko-risiko apa saja yang teridentifikasi pada produk maupun prosesnya, sehingga penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui risiko yang muncul pada mesin yang terdapat di Unit Produksi khususnya di Golongan Rangka Bawah, Ruas Roda, Sub Ruang Bongkar Pasang Roda, Perusahaan AB. Metode yang digunakan berdasarkan proses ISO 31000 untuk dapat mengidentifikasi berbagai risiko yang muncul, namun penelitian ini juga menerapkan Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) untuk menilai serta memberikan pembobotan pada tiap risiko yang muncul. Hasil yang diperoleh bahwa resiko dengan nilai RPN tertinggi yaitu pada jenis kegagalan akibat dari kontrol operator yang kurang memerhatikan sisa logam pahat pada mesin HG sebesar 180, dengan mitigasi berupa adanya pelatihan terkait dengan SOP mesin, motivasi operator dan pengawasan dari expert atau supervisor itu sendiri. Resiko dengan nilai RPN kedua tertinggi yaitu pada jenis risiko akibat terlalu panas dan gesekan yang kuat pada perangkat roda sebesar 168. Resiko dengan nilai RPN ketiga tertinggi yaitu pada jenis risiko berdasarkan tekanan roda yang terlalu besar sehingga menyebabkan baut pada mesin press kendor sebesar 135, dimana kedua nilai RPN tersebut perawatan secara berkala agar mesin dapat berjalan dengan lancar tanpa hambatan.

Abstract

The solid waste section of Manggala District, Makassar City, currently still finds many risks that commonly occur in the waste management supply chain from the waste source to the Temporary Disposal Site (TPS) then to the Final Disposal Site (TPA). This causes the volume of waste to increase every day due to the lack of waste sorting from the waste source so that the waste in the TPS is scattered due to the waste bins no longer being able to accommodate it and ultimately the TPA experiences over capacity without any effective handling to reduce the volume of waste. Therefore, it is necessary to deal with the risks that occur. This research aims to provide suggestions for sustainable mitigation strategies to reduce the impact of risks on waste management using the Delphi method to identify potential risks. Using the House of Risk (HOR) at the risk analysis and evaluation stage to determine mitigation strategies and measuring the sustainability index using the Successive Interval (MSI) Method to determine the sustainability status of the proposed mitigation strategy. Based on the research results, it is known that there are 18 risk events and 65 risk agents identified. Next, a mitigation strategy was carried out on the risk agent using 16 preventive actions, which then measured the level of sustainability of each strategy. The results of these measurements found 3 strategies whose status was very sustainable, 10 strategies whose status was quite sustainable and 3 strategies whose status was less sustainable.
