Abstract

Quality of yogurt could be determined based on its flavor and texture which could be tested using an organoleptic test. The quality objective of the yogurt flavor and texture is larger the better. As one of the intermediate products that could be processed to become various other products, the demand for yogurt is continuously increasing in Indonesia. Along with the increase in demand, the demand for quality of yogurt has also increased. In this study, experiments have been conducted to improve the quality of a yogurt product. The experiments were designed based on the Taguchi method with Multi Responses Signal to Noise (MRSN) that involves 7 factors consists of 6 controllable factors and 1 uncontrollable factor. Every factor has 2 levels of an experiment. The 6 controllable factors are heating temperature, heating duration, number of yogurt seeds, incubation temperature, incubation duration, number of sugars, while the uncontrollable factor is the weather condition. Result of the experiments showed when weight for flavor and texture is 0.437 and 0.563 respectively, the levels of the optimum factors are 950C for milk heating temperature, 20 minutes for the duration of milk heating process, 75 ml of yogurt seeds, 450C of the temperature of incubation, 6 hours of incubation duration and 12.5 grams of sugar weight. Based on the organoleptic test that conducted by a group of experienced testers, the new optimum factors combination could improve the yogurt’s quality in term of flavor and quality up to 16.24% and 11.37% respectively. It could be concluded that the proposed method could improve the quality of yogurt-based on preferences from the experienced testers that have been expressed by the weight of every quality response.

Abstract

Inventori merupakan hal penting bagi perusahaan. Ketersediaan inventori dapat mempengaruhi seluruh kegiatan yang ada di perusahaan. Manajemen persediaan atau inventori mempertimbangkan semua kegiatan yang terlibat dalam perencanaan dan pengendalian tingkat persediaan bahan baku, pekerjaan dalam barang proses dan barang jadi sehingga tersedia jumlah persediaan yang cukup. Ketika persediaan bahan baku melebihi kebutuhan perusahaan, akan menambah biaya pemeliharaan dan penyimpanan serta risiko yang akan ditanggung apabila bahan baku yang disimpan menjadi rusak atau tidak layak pakai. CV. Tiga Sahabat dalam melakukan proses pengendalian persediaan masih dilakukan secara manual tanpa mempertimbangkan data historis perusahaan yang ada. Adanya jumlah pembelian persediaan yang melebihi kebutuhan perusahaan dan tidak tepat waktu, sehingga menimbulkan adanya penumpukan persediaan produk di gudang. Data historis perusahaan menunjukkan bahwa selama kurun waktu bulan April 2017 hingga November 2019, perusahaan telah melakukan 36 kali pembelian untuk produk Kabel NYM dan 25 kali untuk produk MCB. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menentukan titik ROP dan EOQ, serta mencari penghematan total biaya persediaan yang dapat dilakukan menggunakan simulasi Monte Carlo. Hasil dari penelitian ini berdasarkan perhitungan ABC menghasilkan 2 produk yang diprioritaskan dalam kelas A yaitu produk Kabel NYM dan MCB dengan nilai bobot nilai index kritis sebesar 12 dan nilai penjualan masing-masing produk yaitu Rp 501.127.650 dan Rp 276.141.670. Simulasi Monte Carlo mampu menghasilkan penghematan total biaya inventori hingga Rp 117.606.080 untuk Kabel NYM dengan nilai ROP sebesar 500 meter dan EOQ 500 meter, dan total biaya inventori Rp 42.908.400 untuk MCB dengan nilai ROP 66 pcs dan EOQ 120 pcs.

Abstract

Boyolali is one of a large city in central Java of Indonesia which its population increases annually by 31%. This city has several health clinic includes antenatal clinics, general clinic and a clinical laboratory. Currently the numbers of clinics to service people are 77 clinics only. In fact, this district still requires on the other of 318 clinics that have an adequate qualification. Therefore it is crucial to establish some new clinics for satisfying the specified requirements by the district government. The purpose of this study is to analyze the feasibility of establishing a new clinical laboratory as an expansion of the existing clinic based on aspects of market, technics and technology, management, financial, legal and environment. Survey was conducted by distributing questioner and interview to a potential stakeholder. Non parametric statistical analysis is done to test some hypotheses at 5% of significant level and 10% of margin of error. The result of this study shows that the establishment of clinic laboratory in Boyolali is feasible according to an analysis of whole aspects.

Abstract

OB (Outside Broadcasting) Van Radio Gemilang FM Magelang is a vehicle that has studio facilities and transmitting equipment as a studio and broadcast radio transmitters in general in the form of mini and specific functions. From various user inputs such as broadcast division, operator and technical part there are development opportunities that can be done to further improve the quality of facilities and devices according to the needs of coverage and technology activities in the future. This study involved 30 respondents who are competent in operating OB Van equipment. The method used in this development proposal using the measurement of technique parameters with QFD method up to level 2, there are 17 quality variables that are based on 8 Quality Dimension Garvin. From the results of research conducted there are 10 technical respond that can be done, with the most important development priority is software development and audio codec device to reduce digital audio transfer rate transfer with weight 297,7 and internet connection quality with weight 256,8.

Abstract

Business development is an important thing for every company in order to adjust their self tofollow the world sophistication. One of business sector is animation that now became more advance along the world development. In Indonesia the business move in the field of animation has not been so ogled by the investors. One big reason is because investors do not know the level of profit to be gained. This study aims to develop a business model company engaged in the field of animation that accompanied the information related to the benefits of investment that will be obtained. the Method used in this research are business model canvas (BMC) and SWOT analysis which being modified with cost analysis. The results obtained is "Kasat Mata" animation company that has been operating for more than 10 years should be develop its business model in order to provide a good profit for the company. Based on cost analysis with several investment feasibility parameters, the business development model is eligible. At the end, this research can be used as a reference for the company for developing their business model and also can be used by investors as a consideration for understanding the benefits.

Abstract

The growth of industrial sector has increased. Especially for leather industries. Production of UPT Pengolahan Kulit Ladong in the form of wet blue tanned skin will be expected to cover some of the needs of national market demand. The purpose of this research is to analyze the operational feasibility of UPT Pengolahan Kulit Ladong from legal aspect, market aspect, technical aspect, management aspect, and also financial aspect. The object of this research is at UPT Pengolahan Kulit Ladong, Aceh Ladong Industrial Estate, Aceh Besar Regency, Aceh Province. The method to be used for research is techno-economical method. Data analysis consists of legal aspect analysis, market aspect analysis, technical aspect analysis, management aspect analysis, and financial aspect analysis. The results of this study indicate that in terms of legal aspects able to meet the requirements of legality, the market aspect seen from the still many unmet needs of skin that demand reached 20 million pieces of skin per year for the national market, technical aspects, to produce wet blue tanned skin can use the machine and equipment that already exist in UPT Pengolahan Kulit Ladong and already installed, management aspect that is with the availability of raw materials, it is expected when human resources are available also for UPT immediately operated and produce, and financial aspect where MARR: 10% , NPV: Rp. 286.089.235 (NPV> 0), BEP: 96%, PP: 4 Years 5 Months 19 Days, and IRR: 12.28%, so for the operation and production of UPT Pengolahan Kulit Ladong is feasible to run based on the analysis of whole aspects.

Abstract

Salah satu faktor kesuksesan sebuah perusahaan adalah pemilihan vendor. Pemilihan vendormerupakan masalah pengambilan keputusan penting agar mendapatkan pemasok yang dapatmeningkatkan daya saing perusahaan. Dalam penelitian ini akan dikaji mengenai pemilihan vendor untuk dua macam subkomponen untuk produk spare part motor yaitu bolt flange (Part Code 90105060270080) dan washer plain (Part Code 90201208140080) di PT. XYZ. Penyelesaian masalah seleksi vendor dalam penelitian ini dibantu dengan menggunakan metode gabungan ANP-TOPSIS. Setelah didapatkan vendor terpilih kemudian dilakukan perhitungan goal programming untuk pengalokasian order kepada vendor-vendor terpilih tersebut.  Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data dengan metode gabungan ANP-TOPSIS didapatkan perangkingan untuk vendor bolt flange secara berurutan adalah PT. GMS dengan nilai c* =0,91960, PT. DPM dengan nilai c* = 0,49236, PT. GIP dengan nilai c* = 0,43609, dan PT. GNP dengan nilai c* = 0,27989. Sedangkan untuk vendor washer plain secara berurutan adalah PT. NCS dengan nilai c* = 0,79556, PT. IDS dengan nilai c* = 0,37118, PT. PSM dengan nilai c* = 0,34377, dan PT. CKP dengan nilai c* = 0,12120. Dari perangkingan tersebut dipilih dua vendor dengan urutan dua teratas. Dengan demikian vendor yang terpilih untuk memasok bolt flange adalah PT. GMS dan PT. DPM, sedangkan untuk washer plain adalah PT. NCS dan PT. IDS. Penelitian dilanjutkan untuk menentukan alokasi order kepada masing-masing vendor dengan metode goal programming.

Abstract

In manufacturing Make to Order environment, order usually can be negotiated in order to satisfycustomer need while it remains considering resources availability. Scheduling is utilized in a company to get higher efficiencies in production, minimize makespan and meet due date. There are some decisions related in scheduling activity i.e. sequencing, routing and determining starting time and finishing time of jobs. This paper will present application of Integer Linear Programming (ILP) and Critical Path Method (CPM) in scheduling. The methods are employed to determine due date that minimize slack time. This study resulted an optimal sequencing and routing of the jobs.

Abstract

Kualitas mekanis kain tenun dapat diidentifikasi antara lain dari kekuatan tarik kain dan kekuatan sobek kain dengan fungsi obyektif Larger the Better (LTB). Upaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas kain tenun dapat dilakukan melalui eksperimen dengan mengendalikan faktor-faktor yang dapat mempengaruhinya yaitu tetal benang lusi (A), tetal benang pakan (B), kehalusan benang lusi (C), kehalusan benang pakan (D), twist benang lusi (E), twist benang pakan (F), panjang staple serat sisal G). Kombinasi level faktor yang menghasilkan kualitas kain yang optimal diperoleh pada kombinasi level faktor A2, B2, C1, D1, E1, F2, dan G1, yang berarti sistem bekerja pada tetal benang lusi 62 helai/inchi, tetal benang pakan 58 helai/inchi, kehalusan benang lusi 30 Ne1, kehalusan benang pakan 30/2 Ne1, twist benang lusi 20 twist/inchi, twist benang pakan 24 twist/inchi dan panjang staple serat sisal 50 cm. Kombinasi ini mampu menaikkan kekuatan tarik kain sebesar 240,00 N (naik 28,34%) dan kekuatan sobek kain sebesar 20,150 N(naik 31,91%) terhadap kondisi awal. Kombinasi level faktor optimal tidak sensitif terhadap perubahan bobot atribut kualitas tetapi sensitif terhadap perubahan biaya utilitas produk
