Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of human relations and work environment on employee performance at PT. Everbright Medan, as well as to examine the role of organizational commitment as a moderating variable. Data were collected from 215 employee respondents and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that human relations have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, while the work environment has a negative but significant effect. Organizational commitment also shows a positive and significant impact on employee performance. However, the role of organizational commitment as a moderating variable is not significant in strengthening or weakening the effect of human relations and work environment on employee performance. These findings emphasize the importance of harmonious interpersonal relationships, a conducive work environment, and strengthening organizational commitment to enhance employee performance. The results are expected to serve as a basis for the company in designing more effective human resource management strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between psychological well-being and the work productivity of education personnel at Universitas Pembangunan Panca Budi (UNPAB) Medan. Psychological well-being is a positive psychological condition that includes six main dimensions according to Ryff (1989), namely self-acceptance, positive relationships with others, autonomy, mastery of the environment, life goals, and personal growth. The research method used is quantitative correlational with a survey approach. The research population is all UNPAB education staff totaling 120 people, with a sample of 92 people determined using the Slovin formula. Data collection was carried out through the Scales of Psychological Well-Being (SPWB) questionnaire and work productivity scales that have been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis used Pearson Product Moment correlation and simple linear regression. The results showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between psychological well-being and the work productivity of UNPAB education personnel (r = 0.712; p < 0.01), with a determination coefficient of 50.7%. The dimension of life goals and mastery of the environment are the strongest predictors of work productivity. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of psychological welfare improvement programs for education personnel to support the performance of institutions in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

Transformasi digital mendorong masyarakat untuk mampu memahami dan memanfaatkan data dalam berbagai aktivitas ekonomi dan sosial. Namun, tingkat literasi data masyarakat pedesaan masih relatif rendah sehingga pemanfaatan teknologi digital belum optimal. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi sains data masyarakat Desa Sei Semayang melalui pelatihan pengolahan data, visualisasi data, dan pemanfaatan data dalam pengambilan keputusan berbasis digital. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi analisis kebutuhan, pelatihan, praktik langsung, dan evaluasi melalui pre-test dan post-test. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman konsep data sebesar 72%, peningkatan kemampuan pengolahan data sebesar 68%, serta peningkatan kemampuan membaca visualisasi data sebesar 64%. Program ini memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam mendukung transformasi digital masyarakat desa serta meningkatkan kemampuan pengambilan keputusan berbasis data.
