Abstract

This study was intended to analyze and see factors that influence the production of salak pondoh in Tiga Juhar Village, with various production theories and using several variables as a measurement tool in this study consisted of land area, labor, fertilizer, seeds and capital. The data used in this study were primary data that was obtained by distributing a list of questions that have been prepared by interviewing farmers directly. Sampling criteria with judgment sampling method (purposive sampling) is the technique of determining the sample of research on several characteristics of the members adjusted to the purpose of the researcher. The researcher choosen the sample to fulfill the goal by ensuring that all the pepulations had certain characteristics, with the consideration that some research samples were homogeneous or on average have a land area. The samples in this study were 70 farmers from the total number of salak pondoh farmers (243 people) in Tiga Juhar village. Data analysis method used in this study, was multiple linear regression analysis method, this method was used to predict the influence of a dependent variable based on independent variables using the SPSS 2017 software application tool. The results showed that (1) the estimated estimated salak pondoh production model gave positive results because all the observed independent variables showed that the variables of Land Area, Labor, Fertilizer, Seedlings and Capital had a significant effect on the production of salak pondoh in Tiga Juhar Village. (2) Analysis of estimation data showed a significant influence of dependent variables with independent variables. This can be seen from the R-Squared test of 0.963 which means that free variation (land area, labor, fertilizer, seeds and capital) had significant effect on salak production by 96 percent and the remaining 4 percent by other variables not found in the estimation model. While the F test was 331,529 or the probability value of 0.0000 had a significant effect on the production of salak pondoh at a 95% confidence level.

Abstract

Shallots (Allium ascalonicum L) are included in the superior national product. In increasing the production of shallots, fertilizers containing complete nutrients are needed from various agricultural wastes which are fermented anaerobically to obtain solid and liquid organic fertilizers. This research method uses a factorial Randomized Block Design (RAK) consisting of 2 factors studied with 16 treatment combinations and 2 replications. Factor I solid organic fertilizer (P) with a level of 0 kg/plot, 1.5 kg/plot, 2.5 kg/plot, 3.5 kg/plot, and factor 2 liquid organic fertilizer (C) with a level of 0 ml/liter water/plot, 250 ml/liter of water/plot, 450 ml/liter of water/plot, 650 ml/liter of water/plot. Parameters observed were plant height (cm), wet tuber weight (g), dry tuber weight (g), and production conversion per hectare (kg). The results of the study of the 4 parameters gave a significant effect on the 2 treatments. This is what the researcher hopes for and it is recommended that further research be carried out by providing a higher level of treatment for this research. Abstract

Shallots (Allium ascalonicum) Var. Sanren F1 is one of the vegetable commodities that has become a national flagship in addition to red chili and potatoes. Shallots are a strategic commodity because they are needed by most Indonesians in their daily lives. This research was carried out in Minta Kasih Village, salapian District, Langkat Regency, North Sumatra Province with an altitude of + 50 meters above sea level, with the aim of research to determine the effect of the use of organic liquid fertilizer in increasing the growth and production of shallots of the Sanren F1 variety. The study used a Non-Factor Group Randomized Design (RAK) consisting of 4 treatment levels (C0= 0 ml/liter water/m2, C1=225 ml/liter water/m2, C2=425 ml/liter water/m2, C3=625 ml/liter water/m2) with 3 repeats, so that there were 12 experimental units consisting of 8 sample plants, so that the total observation of the entire plant there were 96 experimental units with parameters consisting of plant height,  number of leaves, production of wet tubers, production of dry tubers, conversion of production per hectare. The role of organic liquid fertilizer has a very real effect on plant height, number of leaves, number of tubers, dry tubers production and conversion of production per hectare with the best treatment at C3. C3 treatment can be improved again in further research to obtain maximum growth and production in shallots. Key-words: Liquid Fertilizer, Shallot, Organic INTISARI Bawang merah (Allium ascalonicum) Var. sanren F1 merupakan salah satu komoditi sayuran yang menjadi unggulan nasional selain cabai merah dan kentang. Bawang  merah merupakan komoditas strategis karena dibutuhkan sebagian besar masyarakat Indonesia dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Minta kasih Kecamatan Salapian Kabupaten Langkat Provinsi Sumatera Utara dengan ketinggian tempat + 50 meter diatas permukaan laut, dengan tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan pupuk cair organik dalam meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan produksi bawang merah varietas Sanren F1. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak kelompok (RAK) Non Faktor terdiri dari 4 taraf perlakuan (C0= 0 ml/liter air/m2, C1=225 ml/liter air/m2, C2=425 ml/liter air/m2, C3=625 ml/liter air/m2) dengan 3 ulangan, sehingga terdapat 12 satuan percobaan yang terdiri dari 8 tanaman sampel, sehingga total pengamatan keseluruhan tanaman ada 96 unit percobaan dengan parameter terdiri dari tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, jumlah umbi, produksi umbi kering, konversi produksi per hektar. Peranan pupuk cair organik berpengaruh sangat nyata pada tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, Jumlah Umbi, produksi umbi kering dan konversi produksi perhektar dengan perlakuan terbaik pada C3. Perlakuan C3 dapat ditingkatkan lagi pada penelitian lanjutan untuk mendapatkan pertumbuhan dan produksi maksimal pada bawang merah. Kata kunci : Pupuk Cair, Bawang Merah, Organik

Abstract

Avocado plants are one of the agricultural commodities that have a harvest time of approximately six months. This study aims to determine the effect of multi-functional liquid fertilizer application on soil fertility in the cultivation of avocado plants (Persea americana) from continuous shoots. The hypothesis in this study is that there is an effect of multi-functional liquid fertilizer application on soil fertility in the cultivation of avocado plants (Persea americana) from continuous shoots. This research was conducted on Jl. Madura Kelurahan Pahlawan, North Binjai District, North Sumatra Province, from January 2023 to March 2023. This study used a Non-Factorial Group Randomized Design (RAK) where there were 4 levels of treatment (0, 2, 4, and 6 ml / liter of water) using 4 repeats, so that there were 16 experimental units. Each experimental unit consists of 3 sample plants, so that the total number of plants is 48 experimental units. Observation variables in this study include plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, stem diameter, number of branches, and branch length. Keywords : Multi Functional Liquid Fertilizer Application, Avocado Plant INTISARITanaman alpukat merupakan salah satu komoditas pertanian yang memiliki waktu panen kurang lebih enam bulan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh aplikasi pupuk cair multi fungsi terhadap kesuburan tanah pada budidaya tanaman alpukat (Persea americana) hasil sambung pucuk. Adapun hipotesa dalam penelitian ini yaitu ada pengaruh aplikasi pupuk cair multi fungsi terhadap kesuburan tanah pada budidaya tanaman alpukat (Persea americana) hasil sambung pucuk. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Jl. Madura Kelurahan Pahlawan, Kecamatan Binjai Utara, Provinsi Sumatera Utara, Pada Bulan Januari 2023 sampai dengan Maret 2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Non Faktorial yang dimana terdapat 4 taraf perlakuan (0, 2, 4, dan 6 ml/liter  air) dengan menggunakan 4 ulangan, sehingga terdapat 16 satuan percobaan. Setiap satuan percobaan terdiri dari 3 tanaman sampel, sehingga total keseluruhan tanaman ada 48 unit percobaan. Abstract

This research aims to determine the response of growth and production of tomato plants (Solanum lycopersicum) to the application of cow dung fertilizer and egg shell POC. This research is located on Jl Madura, Kelurahan Pahlawan, Binjai City, North Sumatra Province. This research used a factorial randomized block design (RAK) consisting of two factors. The first factor is cow dung fertilizer (K) and the second factor is eggshell POC (C). The results showed that cow dung fertilizer and eggshell POC had a very significant effect on the parameters of plant height (cm), stem diameter (mm), number of fruit per plant (fruit), number of fruit per plot (fruit), fruit weight per plant (g ) and fruit weight per plot (g). The interaction between the application of cow dung fertilizer and eggshell POC had no significant effect on all observed parameters. Keywords: Tomato Plant, Cow dung, POC eggshell. INTISARIPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui respon pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman tomat (Solanum lycopersicum) terhadap pemberian pupuk kotoran sapi dan POC cangkang telur. Penelitian ini berlokasi di Jl. Madura, Kelurahan Pahlawan, Kota Binjai, Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) faktorial yang terdiri dari dua faktor. Faktor pertama adalah pupuk kotoran sapi (K) dan faktor kedua adalah POC cangkang telur (C). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pupuk kotoran sapi dan POC cangkang telur berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap parameter tinggi tanaman (cm), diameter batang (mm), jumlah buah per tanaman (buah), jumlah buah per plot (buah), berat buah per tanaman (g) dan berat buah per plot (g). Interaksi antara pemberian pupuk kotoran sapi dan POC cangkang telur berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap semua parameter pengamatan. Kata Kunci : Tanaman Tomat, Kotoran sapi, POC cangkang telur.

Abstract

Tomato plants are one of the most popular fruit vegetables among people. To increase the growth and production of tomato plants, you can use husk charcoal biochar and liquid organic fertilizer from tofu waste. This research aims to determine the effect of providing husk charcoal biochar and tofu water liquid organic fertilizer on the growth and production of tomato plants (Solanum lycopersicum L). This research method uses a Factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD). The first factor is the provision of husk charcoal biochar with the symbol (A), consisting of A0 = 0 kg/plot, A1 = 1 kg/plot, A2 = 2 kg/plot, and A3 = 3 kg/plot. The second factor is the provision of liquid organic fertilizer from tofu waste water (T), consisting of T0 = 0 ml/liter/plot, T1 = 200 ml/liter/plot, T2 = 400 ml/liter/plot, T3 = 600 ml/liter/plot. The results of the study showed that the administration of husk charcoal biochar had a very significant effect on plant height (cm), a significant effect on stem diameter (mm), and a very significant effect on the number of fruit/plants (fruit) , number of fruit/plot (fruit), fruit weight. /plant (g) and fruit weight/lot (g). Where the best treatment is A3 = 3 kg/plot. The application of liquid organic fertilizer from tofu waste water had no significant effect on plant height (cm) and stem diameter (mm), but had a very significant effect on the number of fruit/plants (fruit), number of fruit/plots ( fruit), weight of fruit/plant (g) and weight of fruit/lot (g). Where the best treatment is T3 = 600 ml/liter/plot. The interaction between giving husk charcoal biochar and liquid organic fertilizer from tofu waste water had no significant effect on all observed parameters.

Abstract

Purple eggplant is an important vegetable crop in various cuisines, and the market demand for this crop is quite high. Fertilization is done as an effort to meet the needs of plants so that production goals can be achieved. This research was conducted at the office land of Pulo Brayan Bengkel Baru Urban Village, East Medan District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra with an altitude of ± 500 meters above sea level. This study used a Factorial Randomized Group Design (RAK) pattern. The treatment factor used in the study was the application of MOL bonggol pisang and POC rice washing water consisting of 4 levels of treatment and 3 repetitions. The first factor of MOL bonggol pisang is P0 = No Giving, P1 = 200 ml / water, P2 = 400 ml / water, P3 = 600 ml / water. The second factor is rice washing water POC, namely A0 = No Application, A1 = 150 ml / water, A2 = 300 ml / water, A3 = 450 ml / water. Observations of parameters in this study were plant height, number of productive branches, number of fruits, fruit weight per plant and fruit weight per plot. From this design, 16 treatment combinations were obtained and 3 repetitions were carried out, so that 48 experimental units were obtained in the study. The results showed that the treatment of MOL banana pomace strongly influenced all research parameters, the optimal concentration of MOL banana pomace was 400 ml / water. POC rice washing water is very influential on all research parameters, the optimal concentration of POC rice washing water is 450 ml / water. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of banana stem moles and washing water POC on the growth and production of purple eggplant plants.

Abstract

Penelitian mengenai budidaya selada varietas araya dengan sistem hidroponik rakit apung ini dilaksanakan di Jalan Komplek Perumahan Damai Indah no rumah 96, pada ketinggian sekitar 28 MDPL, di Kabupaten Binjai Utara, Kota Binjai, Provinsi Sumatra Utara. Penelitian ini berlangsung dari Juni hingga Agustus 2024. Pupuk organik cair yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berasal dari kotoran kambing, limbah ampas tahu, tandan kosong kelapa sawit, limbah air cucian beras, dan air kelapa tua. Pupuk organik cair komersial ini dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai alternatif nutrisi untuk tanaman sayuran selada varietas araya yang dapat dibudidayakan menggunakan teknik hidroponik rakit apung. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil terbaik dari empat perlakuan, yaitu R0, R1, R2, dan R3. Metode yang diterapkan adalah rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) non faktorial dengan satu faktor, empat perlakuan, dan lima ulangan, menghasilkan 20 unit percobaan. Keempat perlakuan tersebut adalah pemberian pupuk organik cair dengan simbol (R): R0 = POC (kontrol), R1 = POC 560 ppm/plot, R2 = POC 840 ppm/plot, dan R3 = POC 1040 ppm/plot. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setiap perlakuan memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi selada. Perlakuan R3 = POC 1040 ppm/plot memberikan hasil terbaik pada pertumbuhan dan produksi tanaman selada varietas Araya. Dengan menggunakan pupuk organik cair dengan sistem hidroponik rakit apung penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai acuan hidroponik yang efesien. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pupuk organik cair dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif nutrisi untuk jenis tanaman hortikultura sayuran selada varietas araya.

Abstract

Due to climate change, pest and disease attacks, unbalanced use of seeds and fertilizer use, shallot production in North Sumatra still does not meet consumer demand. This research used a Randomized Block Design with 2 factors and 2 replications. The first factor is POP (Solid Organic Fertilizer) consisting of 4 concentration levels, namely P0 = 0 kg/plot, P1 = 4.5 kg/plot, P2 = 7.5 kg/plot, and P3 = 10.5 kg/plot. The second factor is POC (Liquid Organic Fertilizer) consisting of 4 concentration levels, namely C0 = 0 ml/liter water/plot, C1 = 250 ml/liter water/plot, C2 = 450 ml/liter water/plot, and C3 = 650 ml /liter of water/plot. The results of the growth research showed that the highest POP was in P3 with a plant height of 35.76 cm, number of tillers 1.72 and tuber diameter 37.01 cm and the highest POC treatment was in C2 treatment with number of tillers 1.51 cm and tuber diameter 3.28 cm . Production showed that the highest POP was in P3 with a wet tuber weight of 45.28 gr, a dry tuber weight of 31.82 gr, and a production conversion per hectare of 55.80 kg, for the highest POC was in C2 with a wet tuber weight of 40.70 gr, tuber weight dry 31.82 gr and production conversion per hectare 51.39 kg. This research shows an increase in the growth and production of shallot plants.
