Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul Pengaruh Pelayanan Front Office Staff Terhadap Keluhan Tamu Pandanaran Hotel Semarang. Saat ini kondisi persaingan hotel semakin ketat, dengan permintaan dan harapan tamu yang semakin variatif, muncul banyak keluhan dari tamu. Front office dituntut untuk dapat bersikap cekatan dalam menjadi problem solver. Objek penelitian dari peneliti adalah Pandanaran Hotel Semarang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif, dengan jenis penelitian kualitatif. Data diperoleh dari hasil wawancara secara langsung dengan salah satu Front Office Department Staff Pandanaran Hotel Semarang, selain itu juga didukung dengan beberapa data dari studi pustaka dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh dijelaskan secara kualitatif dan dijelaskan dalam bentuk uraian yang disusun secara detail dan sistematis. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penanganan keluhan tamu di Front Office Department Pandanaran Hotel sudah baik karena sesuai dengan teori penulis, solusi yang diberikan sudah sesuai dengan keluhan tamu. Kata Kunci : Front Office Staf dan Keluhan Tamu

Abstract

This Final Project is entitled “The Effect of The Additional of Carrots toThe Process of a Mud Cake”. The research was intended to identify the quality of the mud cake using carrots as one of the ingredients. The method used in this research is experimental, whereas the type of research used is quantitative. Data collection techniques are subjective assessment including sensory test and preference test. The research suggests that carrots affect the mud cake in taste and color, but they don't affect the texture and scent indicators. The flavors being produced are salty sweet, while the colors are orangish yellow. The texture and scent produced as same as the original mud cake, that is soft and no pores with good scent of cakes. From this research, the respondents like the carrot mud cake.

Abstract

The integration of Internet of Things (IoT) technology with the concept of Smart Destinations offers an innovative solution in tourism management with the aim of improving operational efficiency and tourist experience. IoT technology, which includes interconnected sensor devices and communication systems, provides the ability to unify and manage various aspects of a destination in real-time. Meanwhile, Smart Destinations use digital technology to optimize the tourist experience through personalization, resource efficiency, and desire. This article discusses the background and key benefits of IoT integration in Smart Destinations, including improving the visitor experience through data and analytics, better crisis management, and more efficient resource management. Application examples such as smart parking systems, automated energy management, and providing contextual information to tourists through sensors are described to illustrate the practical application of this technology. However, challenges such as data privacy and security, technology compatibility issues, and significant investment requirements are also discussed. In conclusion, while this integration faces several obstacles, its potential benefits in improving the quality and efficiency of tourist destinations make it a promising approach for the future of the tourism industry.

Abstract

The company's marketing efforts influence sales growth in the hotel service lodging industry in addition to the caliber of the products. For instance, the company should implement an appropriate marketing plan because of the intense competition. The sales blitz is a key component of the marketing plan to boost Hotel Horison Pekalongan's revenue. The sales blitz team needs to be improved once more due to the volume of new competitors. This thesis aims to explain the Blitz sales marketing communication technique used to boost revenue at the Horison Hotel Pekalongan. Also, describe the challenges and how to conduct a successful sales campaign. It is anticipated that sales will rise due to the sales blitz events. The author interviewed people in the marketing industry, specifically sales executives and managers.

Abstract

Kelompok usaha rumahan "Lena Snack", yang dijalankan oleh ibu-ibu Lingkungan PKK RT.02 RW.10 PKK di Desa Leyangan, Kabupaten Semarang, telah memproduksi aneka jajanan tradisional sejak tahun 2000. Namun, mereka menghadapi kendala signifikan dalam pengembangan usaha, yaitu pengemasan produk yang kurang inovatif, pemasaran yang masih konvensional (sistem titip jual), dan ketiadaan legalitas usaha (NIB dan Sertifikasi Halal). Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini bertujuan untuk mentransformasi usaha mitra melalui tiga intervensi utama yaitu pelatihan inovasi proses produksi, pengemasan higienis, dan pelatihan pemasaran digital melalui media sosial (tiktok dan instagram) serta marketplace. Metode yang digunakan adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR) melalui bimbingan teknis dan pendampingan intensif yang dilaksanakan selama periode Juli hingga Desember 2025. Hasil PkM menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam kapasitas literasi digital mitra dan perbaikan standar pengemasan produk menggunakan standing pouch yang lebih menarik. Diharapkan intervensi ini mampu meningkatkan omzet, memperluas jangkauan pasar, dan memperkuat daya saing "Lena Snack" di pasar modern. Kegiatan ini juga berkontribusi pada implementasi Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) dengan rekognisi 6 SKS bagi Mahasiswa DIII Perhotelan UNISBANK.
