Abstract

Office workers generally have low physical activity, causing a lack of burning energy by the body. Energy in the body will be stored in fat and cause the amount of fat deposits in the body is not reduced as well as an increase in glucose in the blood. Eventually workers experience an increase in weight and blood sugar levels. Lifestyle like this is at risk for diabetes mellitus. Efforts in controlling blood sugar levels (KGD) are not effective only done with treatment, therefore for prevention as early as possible it needs to be done through physical activity, dietary arrangements and varied work patterns. This literature study uses the Literature Review Comparative Study method, with secondary data of online journals through trusted websites / websites using the application publish of perish with keywords prevention, diabetes mellitus, diet, productive age, activity. In this literature study there are 13 journals reviewed on how prevention, treatment and methods used to find out diabetes mellitus for workers at productive age. From 13 studies that riview obtained that physical activity, streching, aerobic exercise and diabetic foot gymnastics are able to lower glucose levels in the blood. Diabetic gymnastics is effective in lowering blood glucose levels. Diabetic exercise has benefits in controlling blood sugar, and risk factors for cardiovascular disease. By doing gymnastics consistently the need for oral medication and insulin is reduced. For diet, it is obtained that purple-line yam cookies with low carbohydrates and fiber can be an alternative snack for diabetic mellitus.

Abstract

Introduction: The use of tobacco in mastication activity has been widely known throughout the world. In China, the prevalence of mastication activity using betel leaves during student age is around 3.9%. Karo women in Deli Serdang are one of the population in Indonesia whose known have mastication habit since a long time ago. This study aimed to know the profile of the mastication model in Karo women as a primary aim and introduce coconut frond shavings mastication as the healthy mastication model. Method: This research was a combination of qualitative-quantitative diffusion of innovations research, with four stages, those are: diagnosis of action, plan of action, implementation of actions, and evaluation of an action. Abstract

Kepuasan pasien merupakan tingkat perasaan seseorang setelah membandingkan kinerja yang dirasakan dibanding dengan harapannya. Kepuasan pasien akan terpenuhi apabila proses penyampaian jasa dari pemberi jasa kepada pasien sesuai dengan apa yang diharapkan. Ketidakpuasan pasien terjadi apabila hasil yang diterimanya tidak sesuai dengan harapan pasien. Kebaruan penelitian karena menganalisis pengaruh mutu pelayanan Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) terhadap kepuasan pasien. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengaruh mutu pelayanan SDM terhadap kepuasan pasien di UPTD Puskesmas Semula Jadi Kota Tanjung Balai. Metode penelitian ini yakni deskriptif kuantitatif dengan desain Cross-sectional. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dengan skala Likert. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 50 orang dan yang menjadi sampel sejumlah 45 orang yang ditentukan dengan teknik pengambilan sampel Simple Random Sampling. Analisis data bivariate menggunakan uji Chi-Square. Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara bukti fisik (tangible) dengan kepuasan pasien dengan nilai P-value 0,000 α 0,05. Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara kepedulian (empathy) dengan kepuasan pasien dengan P-value 0,000 α 0,05. Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan keandalan (reliability) dengan kepuasan pasien dengan P-value 0,000 α 0,05. Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara daya tanggap (responsiveness) dengan kepuasan pasien dengan P-value 0,000 α 0,05. Terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara jaminan (assurance) dengan kepuasan pasien di UPTD Puskesmas Semula Jadi dengan P-value 0,001 α 0,05. Kesimpulan penelitian ini yaitu terdapat hubungan signifikan antara bukti fisik (tangible), kepedulian (empathy), keandalan (reliability), daya tanggap (responsiveness), dan jaminan (assurance) dengan kepuasan pasien.

Abstract

Hospital Pharmacy Installation (IFRS) is a function implementing unit that organizes all pharmaceutical service activities in hospitals (Permenkes, 2016). Hospital pharmacy services are one of the activities in hospitals that support quality health services. This is clarified in the Decree (SK) of the Minister of Health Number: 1333/Menkes/SK/XII/1999 concerning Hospital Service Standards, stating that hospital pharmacy services are an inseparable part of the hospital health care system that is patient-oriented, providing medicines, including clinical pharmacy services, which are affordable for all levels of society. This study aims to determine the need for health workers by calculating the ideal number of pharmacists based on the workload at the Hospital Royal Prima . This research is qualitative research using observation techniques, interview guidelines and document review. This study uses research informants where the informants used are the head pharmacist and pharmacist. Data analysis is the process of systematically searching and compiling data obtained from the results of field observations (work sampling), in-depth interviews and document reviews. From the results of research conducted that pharmaceutical workers use 85.3% of their working time with productive activities. Of the productive activities as much as 40.2% are direct productive activities while the rest are indirect productive activities, and as much as 23.8% of indirect productive activities are administrative activities, because in this study 8.7% were obtained as nonproductiveactivities and personal activities with the results of work sampling with the WINS method, it turns out that the number of pharmacists installed at the Hospital Royal Prima Marelan is smaller than the need for pharmaceutical workers installed at the Hospital Royal Prima Marelan.

Abstract

Currently, the issue of patient safety is getting serious attention from the government. Hospitals must fulfill the patient's right to security and safety while in hospital treatment. Patient safety is a serious global public health problem. Medical errors can be caused by both system and human factors. This research was conducted at the Royal Prima Hospital Medan with the issue of patient safety at the Central Surgical Installation (CSI). The formulation of the problem in this study is about the implementation of patient safety programs by nurses in the operating room based on the rules of the Royal Prima Hospital Medan in 2021. The type of research used is descriptive using a phenomenological approach which is a type of qualitative research. The population in this study were all nurses who worked in the Central Surgical Installation ward (CSI) of the Royal Prima Hospital Medan. The total sampling was 23 nurses with inclusion criteria, willing to be respondents and not on vacation/leave the service facilities at the hospital. The results showed that the implementation of the patient safety program in the operating room by nurses based on the rules of the Royal Prima Hospital Medan had been implemented and had a program prepared policies and patient safety guidelines as a reference in improving the quality of health services.
