Abstract

Abstrak ___________________________________________________________________ IPA Terpadu merupakan salah satu wujud dari model pembelajaran terpadu yang dianjurkan untuk diterapkan pada semua jenjang pendidikan, namun dalam pelaksanaannya masih banyak kendala yang dialami guru. Penelitian ini bertujuan memberi contoh RPP IPA Terpadu “Tuas pada Tubuh Manusia” dan mengetahui hasil belajar IPA ketika diterapkan dalam pembelajaran. Responden penelitian ini adalah 24 siswa kelas VIII dengan alat pengumpulan data berupa RPP, lembar observasi, lembar kuisioner, dan tes evaluasi. Selama RPP diajarkan, lembar observasi diisi oleh seorang observer sedangkan siswa diminta mengerjakan tes evaluasi dan mengisi lembar kuisioner di akhir pembelajaran.  Selanjutnya semua data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Dari penelitian ini diperoleh hasil: sebanyak 92% siswa terlibat aktif dalam pembelajaran dan 95% siswa mendapatkan nilai minimal 75 pada tes evaluasi. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa RPP IPA Terpadu tentang tuas pada tubuh manusia berhasil memadukan biologi dengan fisika, membuat siswa antusias belajar IPA, dan memahami materi yang diajarkan. Abstract ___________________________________________________________________ Integrated Sciences is one form of integrated learning model which is recommended to be applied at all levels of education, but in practice there are still many constraints experienced teachers. This study aims to give an example RPP Integrated Science "lever on the Human Body" and determine learning outcomes when applied in teaching science. The respondents of this study were 24 students of class VIII with data collection tools such as lesson plans, observation sheets, sheet questionnaires, and evaluation tests. During RPP taught, observation sheets filled out by an observer while students are asked to do the test evaluation and to complete a questionnaire at the end of the lesson. Furthermore, all data were analyzed descriptively qualitative. From this research result: as much as 92% of students actively involved in learning and 95% of students scored at least 75 on the test evaluation. So it can be concluded that the RPP Integrated Sciences of the lever on the human body successfully combines biology with physics, make students enthusiastic to learn science, and understand the material being taught.

Abstract

Permendikbud No. 68 tahun 2013 menuntut siswa untuk dapat berpikir tingkat HOTS. Namun, banyak guru yang belum siap mengajar HOTS. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: (1) memanfaatkan film kartun Larva sebagai media belajar lewat kesalahan untuk mengajarkan siswa berpikir HOTS khususnya ranah evaluasi dan analisis; (2) memberi contoh RPP di mana pembelajarannya mengajarkan siswa berpikir HOTS. Tingkat berpikir HOTS yang diajarkan dalam penelitian ini adalah tingkat evaluasi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan antara lain RPP, lembar observasi, kuesioner, serta soal evaluasi. Hasil analisis lembar observasi menyatakan 86,1% siswa menjawab dengan benar setiap pertanyaan menggiring HOTS yang diberikan, lembar kuesioner yang diisi siswa setelah KBM berlangsung yang menyatakan 96,6% siswa paham dan terbantu dengan pertanyaan menggiring yang diberikan untuk menarik kesimpulan. Hasil tes siswa menunjukkan 85% siswa mendapatkan nilai di atas KKM yang ditentukan yaitu 70. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data penelitian ini telah berhasil dan memenuhi kriteria sehingga RPP ini dapat menjadi contoh RPP berbasis HOTS bagi guru untuk mengajarkan siswa berpikir HOTS.

Abstract

This research tries to give an example for teaching HOTS in accordance with the goverment’s demands on the 2013 curriculum in remediating misconceptions “canoot distinguish between Newton’s First Law and Newton’s Third Laws”. The purpose of this research is to know students’ understanding after learning about misconception remediation. This research used classroom action research methods which will be analyzed qualitatively. Assessment instruments used lesson plans, observation sheets, questionnaire sheets, and evaluation tests. Based on the observation sheet as many as 83,65% students can answer correctly the herding questions submitted by the teacher. This is supported based on the questionnaire sheet as much as 95,18% of students stated that they could understand the herding questions and felt helped by the accompanying questions to distinguish Newton’s First Law and Newton’s Third Laws. From the results of the evaluation test questions, 83,33% of students received grades ≥70. The results of observation sheets, questionnaires, and evaluation questions have met the criteria of success, it can be concluded that herding questions made so that students can learn to think HOTS can be used to remedy “cannot distinguish between Newton’s First Law and Newton’s Third Laws”.

Abstract

Not all schools are able to provide teaching aids as learning media because of the limited tools they have, especially in remote areas that are difficult to get tools. For schools where there is no equipment at all (there is equipment but not complete or damaged) it is necessary to procure media. This study aims to: (1) provide examples of some simple teaching aids that can be used as ideas (ideas) by teachers as learning media for facilitating learning, (2) make Learning Implementation Plans on capillary material by using simple teaching aids, (3) find out the level of students' understanding after learning using simple teaching aids in Kapilaritas material. This study used the Classroom Action Research method with the type of teacher as a researcher. In this type the teacher has a dual role as a practitioner and as a researcher. The samples used for the study were 25th-grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Tuntang as many as 25 students. Research instruments for data collection were are RPP, observation sheets of Teaching and Learning Activities (KBM), questionnaire sheets, and evaluation questions. From the observation sheet, 85.71% of students were able to attend teaching and learning activities well. From the questionnaire, as many as 92.62% of students think that the teaching aids used can show capillary events clearly, and there are / easily found in the surrounding environment. From the evaluation results, as many as 84% ​​of students scored above 70. From the study, it can be concluded that learning using teaching aids simple from used goods in the surrounding environment such as glass, axis, tissue, and cloth can show capillary events so that they can be used as learning media.

Abstract

Abstract - Physics learning is still considered as learning that is less attractive to some students. Students’ lack of learning interest in physics learning makes their achievement low. The purpose of this study was to develop a learning media of True or False Physics Fun Game Card, so as to make the students interested in learning physics which could increase students' interest and learning achievement. The kind of the card game "True or False Physics Fun Game Card" was developed from a 41 card game which was modified as needed. In True or False Physics Fun Game Card, there were 50 true and false statements. Moreover, there were also points of 10-25 based on the level of difficulty of the statements. The statements made based on the Hydrostatic Law, the Relating Vessel, and the Archimedes Law. The True or False Physics Fun Game Card was developed by using the ADDIE development model which consists of 5 development steps, such as analyzing, designing, development, implementation, and evaluation. This study was tested on 12 samples of the Physics students of Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana. The data obtained were processed qualitatively and quantitatively. Based on the results of this study, it was found that 93.75% of students responded positively toward the learning media “True or False Physics Fun Game Card” and the average value of the students' post-test results was 72.67. The 10 samples from a total of 12 test samples obtained the post-test result; 65, so as the percentage of the successful comprehension sample was 83.33%. This study contributed to increasing kinds of learning media and improving students' learning achievement, especially in physics learning.

Abstract

Abstract – Learning media is indispensable in the phase of consolidation with an effort involving students actively and assist student in understanding the material. This research aims to make Fun Frame in Physics (FFP) learning media design and investigate the effectiveness of FFP with the topic of electromagnetic induction at the consolidation stage. This research is a descriptive research. Respondents to this study were 14 - 16 junior high school students of class IX. The research instruments include questionnaire for material experts, questionnaires for media expert, student observation sheets, student activity observation sheets and student reponse observation sheets. All data obtained were analyzed qualitative decriptive. Based on student answers, the average value of each group ranges from 75 to 87,5. Based on the results of the validation, material experts and media experts gave a positive response, 83,38% and 93,6% respectively. Based on the questionnaires, 86,68% of students responded positively to the FFP media. Based on student activity observation sheets, 86,81% of student were active in group activity. So FFP is effective to assist students in understanding the topic of electromagnetic induction and can be a reference in the consolidation phase

Abstract

Penelitian ini telah berhasil dan memenuhi kriteria sehingga RPP ini dapat menjadi contoh RPP berbasis HOTS bagi guru untuk mengajarkan siswa berpikir HOTS.Abstract:  The purpose of this research: (1) to use Larva cartoons as a learning media through mistakes to teach students to think HOTS especially the domain of evaluation and analysis(2) give an example of lesson plans which teaches students to think of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). This type of research is classroom action research (CAR) which was analyzed qualitatively. Research Instrument used include lesson plans, observation sheet, and questionnaire sheets. The results of the observation sheet analysis of 86.1% of students answered correctly the questions led to HOTS and questionnaire sheets 96.6% of students understood and were helped with questions leading. Student test results show 85% of students get a score of more than 70. This research has succeeded and fulfilled the criteria so that this lesson plans can be an example of HOTS-based lesson plans for teachers to teach students to think HOTS.

Abstract

The measurements of gamma linear attenuation coefficient in the air at variance air pressure has been done. The measurements were performed to determine the effects of air pressure changes on gamma linear attenuation coefficient in the air. The measurements were used Co-60 as the gamma radiation source and LND 72 Geiger-Muller as the radiation detector in a room with 18oC room temperature and 68% air humidity. The linear attenuation coefficient value was calculated according to Lambert-Beer law. From the measurement, we obtained the attenuated gamma intensity in the air at air pressure variation. The unattenuated gamma intensity was determined by making a linear fit function of the attenuated gamma intensity data. From the calculation, It was found that the value of gamma linear attenuation coefficient in the air increases with the increasing of air pressure.
