Abstract

Rubber plant is one of the potential plants, the production of latex from the rubber plant is used as a raw material for making rubber bands, and the cutting process is required by a rubber band cutting machine. The purpose of the performance analysis of this rubber band cutter is to find out the cut / minute results of this machine and the machine uses a 1.5 HP electric motor with a reducer ratio of 10: 1 and get a 110 Cut / minute result and from the results of data retrieval using a thick cutting knife 5 mm on average this machine can print granules with a thickness of 2 mm. As for this machine, it will be sold at a more economical price and uses a level of electricity consumption that is not wasteful compared to machines that are already on the market.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the performance of a hybrid dryer by combining the utilization of solar energy (solar dryer) and biomass power sources. Utilization of solar thermal energy sources by maximizing solar heat radiation sources which are absorbed directly into the drying chamber in the form of a transparent house with ventilation holes for fresh air to enter and moist air to exit. This process will produce hot air circulation (convection) in the drying chamber continuously so that the process of evaporation of water from the material being dried is faster. The temperature of the hybrid dryer with a sun source without the test material was 56º C. In the hybrid dryer test with a biomass combustion power source without the test material, the maximum temperature was 46 º C with a stable temperature of 40 º C. In the hybrid dryer test with a solar power source with the material test with a drying rate for 6 hours of drying there was a reduction in the mass of areca nut by 19%. The performance of the hybrid drying machine is better when the temperature is controlled with a setting temperature of 60º C. The average drying rate of areca nut from the hybrid dryer is 1 kg/hour

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi yang pesat turut serta membawa perubahan pada berbagai bidang industri, terutama dalam bidang pendidikan. Model pembelajaran berbasis kecerdasan buatan, terutama yang menggunakan web tool, terbukti lebih mudah dipahami dan digunakan oleh peserta didik terlebih ketika materi bersifat teknis. Saat ini, tantangan muncul saat bermunculan web aplikasi yang memanfaatkan teknologi Artificial Intelligence (AI) namun kita belum memahami dasar-dasar penggunaan AI itu sendiri. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini memiliki tujuan untuk memperluas wawasan siswa terhadap penggunaan aplikasi berbasis Kecerdasan Buatan atau AI untuk dapat digunakan secara lebih optimal dalam membantu siswa Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) dalam membantu kegiatan belajar mengajar. Dengan pendekatan ini, seluruh pemahaman konsep Kecerdasan Buatan / AI dapat dicapai secara praktis sehingga dapat membantu siswa-siswi dalam mencari materi pembelajaran serta alat bantu yang dapat digunakan untuk menunjang kegiatan baik didalam maupun diluar sekolah. Target dari pengabdian masyarakat ini, tim UTM Jakarta diharapkan mampu memberikan dasar-dasar penggunaan “prompt” atau perintah yang bisa membantu siswa-siswi tersebut menemukan solusi yang spesifik dalam memanfaatkan teknologi web aplikasi AI.
