Abstract

This study aims to improve the ability to recognize symbols of the letters through the game of snakes ladder in children aged 5-6 years in Desa Dukuh Krajan RT 09 RW 01, Kelurahan Dukuh, Kecamatan Sidomukti, Kota Salatiga. This research is a type of Action Research Research (PAR). This study uses the subjects of children aged 5-6 years, amounting to 5 children. Technique of collecting data by observation, documentation, and interview. Data analysis techniques using quantitative descriptive. The results of this study indicate that snakes ladder method can improve the ability to recognize symbols of letters. The increase of letter symbol recognition can be seen based on the increase of pre-action percentage because 53,33% increase in cycle I become 65,55%, in cycle II increase to 81,65%, so that learning can be said succeed because of its calculation. the percentage of the ability to recognize symbols shows 76%. Indicators used include children who can show the shape of the symbol (pre-writing), create a picture with some letters / posts that have been shaped letters, and write his own name.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how the parent's perception of early childhood education in RW 01 Dukuh Krajan, Salatiga. The design is descriptive quantitative with the subject of research that is parents who have children aged 3-5 years, amounting to 58 people. Data on parental perceptions are collected through a questionnaire and then will be classified according to the level of parental education, income level of parents, parents who have sent their children and parents who have not send their children to school in early childhood. The result of questionnaire of parents perception in level of education S1 and S2 in good category (50%), SMA / SMK is in Good category (36,11%) and SMP is in Enough category (50%). The calculation of the value of the questionnaire according to the parent's income level (a) in the category of Good (33.33%) and Less (33.33%), income (b) is in Good category (41.67%) and income ( c) is in the category of Very Good (57.14%). Then based on parents who have sent their children to school is in Good category (52,38%), perception of parents who have not yet send their child to PAUD is in Enough category (37,84%).

Abstract

This study aims to find out how caregivers in helping children to develop or build discipline from an early age conducted by 3 caregivers of the Orphanage of the White Cross on the Orphanage Children of the White Cross especially against one early childhood. The type of this research is descriptive qualitative with case study method, data collection by interview and data analysis with qualitative. In this study there are 3 subjects that help one child in building discipline. The results of the study show that the discipline of children is increasing from previously unattended discipline until now already have good discipline, in building discipline. The way in which the subject tends to be different from the other caregivers. Subjects do not use corporal punishment and it is done in a better way. The way the subject tends to be a subtle way with good advice, real stories, habits, good examples, daily schedules made, gift giving to children.

Abstract

Role playing merupakan cara untuk penguasaan bahan pelajaran melalui pengembangan imajinasi dan penghayatan anak yang berperan sebagai subyek pembelajaran aktif. Kegiatan role playing yang dibahas dalam kajian ini merupakan salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan kemampuan sosial emosional anak kelompok bermain. Untuk itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan sosial-emosional anak melalui metode role playing di kelompok bermain Fransiskus Xaverius 78, Salatiga. Subjek penelitian ini adalah anak-anak kelompok bermain dengan usia 3-4 tahun yang berjumlah 12 anak, terdiri dari 6 perempuan dan 6 laki-laki. Objek penelitian adalah kemampuan sosial emosional anak melalui role playing. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus dengan tiga kali pertemuan dalam satu siklus. Pada setiap siklus terdapat 3 tahap yaitu 1) perencanaan, 2) tindakan, dan 3) refleksi. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi dan catatan lapangan. Adapun instrumen penelitian yang penulis gunakan adalah berpedoman pada Peraturan Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Permendikbud) Republik Indonesia nomor 137 tahun 2014 dalam observasi berupa lembar penilaian. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskripstif kuantitatif dan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa ada peningkatan kemampuan sosial emosional anak kelompok bermain melalui metode role playing di KB/TK Fransiskus Xaverius 78 Salatiga. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan adanya peningkatan kemampuan sosial emosional anak dimana pada pratindakan sebesar 62.96%, pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 75% dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 94.44%.
