Abstract

Keterampilan dasar TIK menjadi salah satu kompetensi inti dalam Standar Kompetensi Guru PAUD/TK/RA yang harus dimiliki. Kondisi saat ini banyak guru PAUD di Kota Salatiga memerlukan peningkatan keterampilan dalam penggunaan TIK, dikarenakan karena rendahnya pemahaman guru terhadap penggunaan perangkat keras dan perangkat lunak seperti aplikasi-aplikasi yang dipergunakan dalam penyelenggaraan PAUD. Google Suite for Education merupakan produk Google yang berisikan alat produktivitas dan kolaboratif dengan sistem penyimpanan cloud yang diperuntukkan bagi lembaga pendidikan, maupun perseorangan termasuk guru. Kegiatan workshop daring Pengembangan Keterampilan Dasar TIK Berbasis Google Suite for Education bagi Guru PAUD di Kota Salatiga yang dilaksanakan oleh Program Studi PG PAUD Universitas Kristen Satya Wacana bekerja sama dengan mitra HIMPAUDI dan IGTKI Kota Salatiga menunjukkan adanya pengembangan keterampilan dasar TIK yang ditunjukkan melalui rata-rata persentase mencapai 91,42% untuk aspek pemahaman konseptual, serta persentase sebesar 86,28% untuk aspek keterampilan praktik mandiri menggunakan fitur Google Suite for Education. Hal ini berarti bahwa workshop daring yang diselenggarakan mampu mengembangkan keterampilan dasar TIK bagi guru PAUD di Kota Salatiga.

Abstract

The reseacrh was to analyze teacher professional competence of daycare. The study is a qualitative descriptive study using data-collecting techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. The subject of this study is teacher at the daycare Taman Belia Candi Semarang. The data analysis techinique in this study uses the interactive model analysis developed by Miles and Huberman. The steps in Miles and Huberman analysis model include data reduction, data presentation, and deduction. The result of this study suggest that the teacher’s professional competence with daycare was looking well. Teacher understand and master the materials presented to learners, teacher use media and visual tools, and teacher also actualize themselves into growing personages by developing professional competence through competency support activities conducted by various parties.Keyword: Professional competence, Teacher, DaycarePenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kompetensi profesional guru pada taman penitipan anak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru pengasuh pada TPA Taman Belia Candi Semarang. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan model analisis interaktif yang dikembangkan oleh Miles and Huberman. Langkah-langkah dalam model analisis Miles and Huberman antara lain reduksi data, penyajian data, da penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi profesional guru pada taman penitipan anak terlihat dengan baik. Guru memahami dan menguasai materi yang disampaikan kepada peserta didik, guru menggunakan media dan alat peraga serta guru juga mengaktualisasikan diri menjadi pribadi yang terus berkembang dengan mengembangkan kompetensi keprofesionalan melalui kegiatan penunjang kompetensi yang diadakan oleh berbagai pihak. Kata Kunci: Kompetensi profesional, Guru, Taman Penitipan Anak

Abstract

Nowadays, the development of technology for early childhood is growing so rapidly that children's interest in reading books is decreasing. In addition to the family, schools become the second environment for children so it is hoped that schools become a place where children develop an interest in reading and with a pleasant atmosphere. The reading corner is a solution for children to be able to develop their interest in reading and attractive decorations will make children excited in developing their literacy. This community service research uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation. This research was conducted at Kristen 2 Salatiga Kindergarten. The purpose of this research is to increase children's interest in reading and make the learning atmosphere comfortable and fun. The result of this community service activity is that it can create a new and fun learning atmosphere for students and increase interest in reading for early childhood so as to increase knowledge for children.

Abstract

Parents have an important role in introducing knowledge about gender to early childhood. The introduction of gender knowledge is given by parents to children because it is related to development and formation of behavior and personality of children in the future. This study aims to determine the parents’ role in the introduction of gender in early childhood during the pandemic. This study used descriptive qualitative research method. The characteristics of subjects in this study were parents who had children at an early age range of 4-6 years. Data were collected through observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The results of this study show that parents have an important role in introducing gender knowledge to early childhood, especially during current pandemic.

Abstract

Independence is part of the developmental process that is expected in order to reach maturity. The results of observations in the field showed that there were still children who did not have independent characteristics, one of which was not taking off and putting on their own socks and shoes. This research aims to find out, develop and improve every development in children's independence through daily habits at Bright Minds Day Care by facilitating caregivers in increasing children's independent behavior through daily habits and efforts have been made by Bright Minds Day Care Kanteng Argomulyo, Salatiga City . This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The data collection method in this research uses observation, interviews and documentation with descriptive data analysis. Data analysis techniques consist of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that (1) independence in children is not optimal so that it can be improved through daily habits (2) parents and caregivers lack involvement in increasing children's independence through daily habits
