Abstract

Application of pattern language teaching and literature area of Bali is seen very important applied in of all potential and existing intelligence in learners. As it known, that every participant has a range of student potential and intelligence who strived to be developed early on so that they can grow and develop optimally. As Bloom's taxonomy refers to, that there are three aspects that should be in students in learning, i.e. aspects of apectif-related behavior, cognitive-related knowledge, intellect and related psychomotor skills. So, these three aspects that influence the development of maximum mental attitude, behavior and abilities of learners, so that the purpose of education can be achieved. Pattern language learning and literature area of Bali is pattern learning based on the application of language and literature area of Bali as the local value and charge implemented in learning. The pattern became a cornerstone of learning with student-centered approach as learners and teachers as educators.

Abstract

The poem Ombak Raré Bali by I Putu Gede Raka Prama Putra is very much about the social themes of people's lives today and really reflects the local color of Bali. In this regard, the problem discussed in this study is How is Sad Kerti actualized in the poems contained in the collection of Ombak Raré Bali poems by I Putu Gede Raka Prama Putra? The theory used in this research is structural theory and semiotic theory. This study uses a qualitative research method, namely the method of literature and data analysis method used is descriptive analysis method. The actualization of Sad Kerti contained in the Ombak Raré Bali poetry collection, namely: 1) Atma Kerti is a life effort to always seek so that the enlightenment that is always emitted by God from all directions can connect or meet with the radiance of the purity of Atman which also always emanates from within Bhuana Alit or from within man. The titles of the poems included in Atma Kerti are: Ngiring Rumasayang, Élingang Pamargi, Puput... 2) Samudra Kerti is protecting the ocean or sea. The titles of the poems included in Samudra Kerti are: Yéh… Yéh…, Cerita Mémé 3) Wana Kerti, namely preserving forests and mountains. The titles of poems included in Wana Kerti are: Méru. 4) Danu Kerti, namely an effort to preserve fresh water sources on land such as springs, lakes, rivers and other springs. The title of the poem included in Danu Kerti is: Yéh… Yéh… 5) Jagat Kerti is an effort to build four togethernesses that are harmonious, safe, peaceful, and foster physical and spiritual well-being by implementing spiritual power that arises from worship of God. The titles of the poems included in Jagat Kerti are: Yadnya, Banten, Ngastiti Bali Santi. 6) Jana Kerti is an effort to build harmony and tolerance towards fellow human beings. The titles of the poems included in Jana Kerti are: Sami Siki, Yowana Baliné Mangkin, Titiang Raré Bali.

Abstract

Pendidikan karakter dapat diajarkan melalui ajaran Tri Hita Karana sebab merupakan pondasi awal dalam kontak sosial di lingkungan keluarga, masyarakat dan sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji lebih dalam tentang implementasi pendidikan karakter melalui ajaran Tri Hita Karana, kendala yang dihadapi dalam implementasi pendidikan karakter melalui ajaran Tri Hita Karana, serta upaya dalam mengimplementasikan pendidikan karakter melalui ajaran Tri Hita Karana di kelas XI SMAS Dharmapraja Denpasar. Karya ilmiah ini menggunakan metode penelitian penelitian kualitatif, pengumpulan data menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, studi kepustakaan, dan studi dokumen. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif dengan tahapan reduksi, penyajian data, dan penarikan simpulan. Hasil penelitian (1) implementasi pendidikan karakter melalui ajaran Tri Hita Karana dimulai beberapa tahapan yaitu menyusun perencanaan dengan membuat RPP. Tahap pelaksanaan diawali kegiatan pembelajaran mengucapkan salam dan berdoa, kegiatan inti pembelajaran yaitu memaparkan materi Tri Hita Karana dan mengimplementasikan pendidikan karakter melalui hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan, hubungan manusia dengan manusia, dan hubungan manusia dengan lingkungan, kegiatan diakhiri dengan penutup pembelajaran. Evaluasi dilakukan untuk menentukan tingkat pencapaian tujuan pembelajaran yaitu menilai hasil tugas dan pencapain karakter siswa. (2) Kendala dalam implementasi pendidikan karakter melalui ajaran Tri Hita Karana yaitu kurangnya kedisiplinan siswa dimana ada beberapa siswa yang tidak mengikuti perintah dari guru dan kurangnya minat belajar siswa saat pembelajaran berlangsung ada beberapa siswa yang cuek dan acuh terhadap pelajaran. (3) Upaya dalam mengimplementasikan pendidikan karakter melalui ajaran Tri Hita Karana di kelas XI yaitu dengan perhatian orang tua siswa, serta pemanfaatan media pembelajaran dapat menambah minat dan semangat belajar siswa.

Abstract

The preservation of the Balinese language and sacred traditional arts requires learning strategies that are not only practice-oriented but also capable of sustaining cultural values. Although the Direct Method has been widely applied in language learning, studies specifically examining its implementation in teaching gending jejangéran within the context of Sacred Jangér as a medium for language and cultural preservation remain limited. This study aims to describe the implementation of the Direct Method in teaching gending jejangéran in Banjar Kedaton, Désa Adat Sumerta, Denpasar City, identify the constraints and solutions that emerge during the learning process, and explain its implications for instructors, dancers, and the community. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings show that the Direct Method was implemented through stages of spiritual and ethical preparation, goal orientation, demonstration, imitation, repetition, immediate correction, and follow-up evaluation. The main constraints included differences in dancers’ comprehension, limited mastery of the Balinese language, difficulties in synchronizing vocal performance with movement and rhythm, and limited practice time. These constraints were addressed through material segmentation, repeated practice, direct feedback, and independent practice. This study highlights that the Direct Method is not only effective as a strategy for teaching traditional vocal arts, but also contributes theoretically by extending its application from language pedagogy to traditional arts pedagogy rooted in local culture, while strengthening the preservation of the Balinese language and Sacred Jangér.

Abstract

Digital transformation reshapes Hindu religious practices through social media mediation, affecting ritual representation, religious authority, and believers’ religious experience. This article examines the negotiation of sacredness in Hindu practices in the era of digital disruption through cultural studies and the mediatization of religion framework. Employing a qualitative interpretive–critical paradigm, the study draws on digital ethnography, in-depth interviews, and media content analysis. The findings indicate that sacredness does not erode linearly; rather, it is negotiated through offline–online hybrid practices, curated ritual representations, and the strategic adaptation of religious authorities in digital spaces. Social media functions as a dialogical yet contested arena of religious meaning-making, prompting the reconfiguration of symbolic legitimacy and the fragmentation of authority. Believers’ responses display a spectrum of adaptations shaped by generational factors, digital literacy, and normative orientations. Theoretically, the study affirms sacredness as a symbolic construction negotiated within power relations and media logics. Practically, it underscores the need to strengthen digital religious literacy and develop ethical guidelines for ritual representation to sustain sacred meanings in digital public spaces.
